That is called crazing. You can look it up on line. Very common for all komados. My green egg and primo both have crazing and it does not impact anything. Does not look bad and not even noticed anymore.

I have a lot of small carcks on the top lid of my Primo Grill can you tell me what causes this. I have never had the grill over 500 Deg.
