This song is how I found Jeremy Camp years ago. I heard this song on K-Love and I looked it up and found that it was a song by Jeremy, and I ended up getting into more of his music, and now today he is my favorite artist of all time. Love the guy and love his music.
I absolutely love this song! It has such a great message and speaks to me. It urges me to become a better Christian, and to keep my faith in my Savior strong.
it is easy for me to want to say yes in my head, every time i hear this question in this song, but what I wonder is would I be able to go through with doing it.. probably if I was doing it for HIM.. but not for any of the prisoners back then or anyone else.. If i could for him I would do it with out thinking about it .. but I can also guarantee I wouldn't make it as far as he did.. I would be dieing of a panic attack before the 3rd or 4th whip, not to mention all the hooks they hit him with (pulling out chunks of skin) also.. I wouldn't be able to live long enough to make it to the cross.. Jesus was strong for all of us and I believe He is the one, and only one that would survive long enough to make it to the cross after all the torture the people did to him!!! but i would attempt it if it came down to doing that for HIM. wouldn't anyone give the gift of blood shed since he did it for everyon on earth , good and bad? what is crace? discrace? If you can alter that it would be a great video because my youth group uses videos like these for praise and worship. That's why it's important to proofread the lyrics. Please dont see this as a criticism because you did a great job, but right now i'm looking for a video with correct lyrics. also, someone in my group has macular digeneration and can only see black and white well so it was a good colour choice.:)
