Thank You for another excellent video! I didn’t notice any mistakes and don’t know why the 10 mm deep cut in the second piece came out narrower than the material thickness. Since the edge of the Fritz & Franz jig was cut by the saw, I would have thought what you did would have resulted in a cut of the same width unless the blade used for this cut produces a thinner kerf than the blade used to make the jig.
It is very subtle. I couldn't figure out why it was narrow until I was editing the video and even then I had to rewind several times. Hint: What are the odds that I would place the uncut piece within 0.5mm of center to set the stop block?
Excellent hint! I wouldn’t have figured this out without it. And I am amazed that the error was so small. Had you not been making the video, you probably would not have experienced the issue. I’ll hold off saying more so that I don’t spoil the fun for anyone else. By the way, had I done something similar in my own shop, figuring out what went wrong would have been a challenge since I would not have had a video to aid with diagnosing the issue.
@ExtremeWoodworker thank you. I just got this Felder KF700SP and I am trying to adapt from a old cabinet saw. Working on some picture frames but having a hard time and wanted to see if I could adapt my old Incra 5000 sled to the sliding table.
Good to see my favorite UA-camr doing a video! Good stuff!
Ron
Wow beautiful work and what a machine I'm getting my felder cf 741 in June and I can't wait to see what it can do.
Awesome! My first slider was a CF741SP, you will enjoy it.

Man I love the Martin. I just ordered a SCM Nova SI 400 ep. really looking forward to the increased accuracy.
Awesome. That really looks like a fine machine.
Good teaching, useful for me, thanks for sharing...
Glad it was helpful!
Good stuff! This Fritz and Franz Jig is very popular here in Europe
The Fritz and Franz jigs (and variants) are the most used jigs in my shop. It never ceases to amaze how versatile these jigs are.
Very well done
You referenced of the wrong piece, the piece without the dado which you just randomly put in?
Thank you for sharing!
What is the knob in the center of the Fritz and Fronz jig for? I would like to build one for my Felder.
Hi James. The knob just locks the center of this jig in position via a carriage bolt and wood block in the tee-slot. Steve

That idea would work great for making sash bars for windows. (Have some french doors i need to build)
That would be cool! Steve

@@magicman9486 Yes, please do. Comment with a link when you do and I will add it to a recommended video at the end of this. Steve
