I came here from knowing the song and not really knowing about JRWI, finding out that this is for a D&D show with Slimecicle is absolutely sending me.

i love how perfect whether intentional or not the bandana is for Chip.
while all the cast puts on faces and hides who they are. Chip in all his Kicked Dog energy is the one with the strongest facade, Gillian even if he lies he's still forwardly Gillian and Jay doesnt put on a facade as much as she doesnt know who she is.
but god chip hides himself so deeply, and being able to mask all the injuries and scars and pain and muck that he picks up adventure after adventure with his magic bandana to portray himself as the most perfect version of a captain in his mind is just so good. i loved this animatic purely because of it swapping from the kept and trimmed chip and showing what lies under the facade, a dead man walking haunted by the past and the future this video is so so so good gosh.
chip as a character just makes me so insane also aaaaaaa tytyty
@@artandbrimstone honestly chip grew to be my favorite overtime. Coming from being a slimecicle fan girl, the funny wet guy was my favorite but as things continued on chops bastard shenagins really grew on me and Jay just became so intriguing. I alternate so hard between who is my favorite but character growth wise it hasssss to be chip hands down

"I see a man who gets to make it home alive" is really good here, especially with "welcome home" being the thing that gets whispered to Zombie Chip when they go into the hole. This is so good and this song fits so well, I love Epic. Absolutely fantastic job.

This is actually so well made!!!! AHHHHHH! “Who gets to make it home alive but it’s no long you” and “A man who is haunting. A man with a trail of bodies” ARE BOTH SO GOOD! Especially since (and I feel like everyone forgets this) Chip went out of his way to not kill people in the beginning. Only after he gave up the memory of the first time he killed someone was he able to start killing even in his own defense! He now has a trail of bodies he did not have in the beginning! AHHHHH
I did not realize how perfectly No Longer You fits to Chip omg- and your transitions and the little swirls to show each of his little visions like Jay with the bow and Arlin (sobbing cause its true Chip is so much more haunted than when arlin last saw him) its so PERFECT!! And thank you for making Niklaus the Tiresias character YES he loves to mess with them and YES he will do it while also telling Chip the heartbreaking truth
