I think this is the first Puppeteer that really focused on Eury. His fear, his powerlessness, and especially his guilt. I loved that since this song is his story about what he saw but underpinning it is his knowledge that they wouldn't be on the island at all without his actions. Showing him on his knees trying to convince Ody not to engage Cersie is as close to begging for forgiveness as he can get without confessing. It is so beautifully subtle. Bravo

Thank you SO much for appreciating all the details I painstakingly put into this, it means more than you could know! Okay this makes me capable of understanding why Eurylochus wanted to run. You made Circe (and the transformation sequence) genuinely terrifying. Gods, thats sooo cool.
Someone else has probably already mentioned this but I’ll say it too just in case- I love how clearly exhausted Odysseus is, like he didn’t sleep for nine days and then his crew got massacred and he came straight to this island, you KNOW at his man hasn’t gotten any sleep AT ALL
I LOVE the choice to focus on Eurylochus and the crew more, partly bc a Eury is my favorite character but it really emphasizes his choice to run away (which was technically right bc Ody would have died if Hermes didn’t step in after). Also I love the OPM/Mob Psycho esque artstyle drop on that “what.” The detail and motion in this animatic is impeccable you snapped on this
I love how Circe kinda dips into the Uncanny Valley at certain points, which kinda makes her more god like and different from the men, like her smile getting just a bit too wide, outlined by her black lips, or her eyes a bit off, it’s such a cool detail compared to the very realistically sculpted faces of the sailors
man i love how you depicted circe!! shes so much more ruthless and cunning than she sounds and i really love it. it was amazing to finally see and realise just how horrifying circe’s power mustve been for the soldiers. i cant help but think of how bad their past visitors must have been to result in her becoming so cruel in order to protect the nymphs. incredible work
Eurylochus, bold black lines, shadows and highlights and in fear: "A Woman!" Odysseus, sketched lines and deadpan: "wut?" This has got to be one of the best Puppeteer animatics I've seen! Definitely one of my favorites now!
this better blow up, this is fantastic. The transformation sequence the best ive ever seen it done so far, and shows exactly why it was terrifying to watch for eury, this is so high quality
1:25 God- Ody's eye bags, Man has had enough And the crewmates' Transformation CHILLING AND AMAZING And the other animals, the cat, snake and the wolf makes Circe's island, a paradise of itself 3:57 the fluidity of the cape IT'S ALL SO BEAUTIFUL OMG
Circe got those boss battle vibes already, it's very difficult to portray so much emotion through motion and posture and behaviour and etc, and like, damn, you just nailed it.
Your Circe is really unique! She isn't like a young elf that soothes the wounds of the travellers nor is she overly mean looking! Her mouth being wide which really isn't shown most of the time usually in female characters, makes it easier to focus on her smile and how it changes. She really looks like a kind matriarch looking at bunch of children inviting them to rest and then there's the betrayal they face even if they did nothing to deserve it. Your design really shows the *"I've all the power"* part of the song. She looks like a powerful figure who has all the nymphs to protect rather than a naive, beautiful seducer. The nymphs also look so inviting, smiling and then turn expressionless when they close the door! And Eurylochus's expressions like those in the cartoons are so funny to me for some reason 😅
I love your design of Circe so much and this animatic!! I love the moment with Circe the wolf and the snake, and the vines around the column growing - just emphasizing this is her domain and that she has the power. But my absolute favorite part is at 2:31, when she doesn’t even flinch at the knife because she has all the power here - It was such a great and effective way to emphasize her control.
I particularly like this animation here from Puppeteer. She highlights Circe as the powerful character she is. She is in control of the situation and shows it in every frame of this wonderful work. I really congratulate you for what you managed to produce and I hope to be able to see more content from you! :D
Thank you!! I do have ideas for a TAOW animatic, but done for stumps me a little more since I'm not a huge fan of kaiju battles haha. Still I will think about it, so glad you enjoyed this one :)
This animatic is absolutely gorgeous! Every character is so expressive, and I love your take on Circe and her magic. The transformation looked especially painful 😊❤️
I know the comments are all saying it but fr that transformation sequence stole the show for me, the pose and framing and transition from his eyes to the pigs eye is so good, also I love the details on this, the animation of the water, the shine on the knife, the overall style and colors are really satisfying and I appreciate the time spent on the backgrounds as well it just makes it feel very polished in general 1000/10 this is probably my new favorite animatic for this song!
OMG!!!!!! you had my jaw on the floor for the whole video!!! Every single moment was like "damn, this can't get any better", and then BOOM *even better*. Thank you soooo much for all this hard work, you left me speechless
THIS IS INCREDIBLE OMG?? Also Eury’s face at “a woman” KILLED ME. Also Circe’s design?? Lord have mercy on my soul. ALSO THE TRANSFORMATION FOR THE PIGS?? I love how you made it look painful because of course it would be. And I love how you have Odysseus a more captainley presence by telling the men to go with Eurlochus. Also sobbing at Polites’ headband wrapped around Ody’s arm 🥹
I know everybody already mentioned the tranformation scene but DAMN this is cool. Also all the other animals around Circe are a neat detail. Really paints that connection to nature. (also that snake was adorable) Also the infamous 'a woman' scene you nailed it so well!
I absolutely ADORE how you draw teeth... gums... you know what I mean- for everyone, but Circe has that uncanny feel to her mouth, like some kind of monster! Of course, love and adoration to all the other details like one crewmate trying to stab her, the shading on eurylychus when he's serious and the general focus on him!
idk how to explain to you how DELICIOUS this animatic is like from your artstyle to how u directed the scenes and AHHH this is so yummy thank you so much for this incredible service i'm obsessed
This is so great I am in love with your shading on the faces Its both comedic and awesome for showing emotions Slight Jojo vibes tbh Awesome work, keep on making stuff like this :D
Your art is just, Wow ! The "a woman" making Eury more detailed while Ody becomes a sketch is a really fun idea. The crewmates transforming was horrifying but cool as heck ! And the designs of the nymphs looked super cute ! This might be my new favorite Puppeteer animatic now just because of how intimidating it makes Circe look and how traumatized it makes Eury feel
I love the transformation of the men to pigs! It shows just how painful the transformation was. That's something I haven't seen in any other Puppeteer animatic. I adore how terrifying you made Circe's powers! Great job!!!
I literally laughed at the "what" because of the style change, BUT WHAT WAS THAT TRANSFORMATION, that was so cool! You have no right making such a good animatic
This is fantastic! You really made that transformation look so painful and gruesome, I hadn't quite seen an approach like that before. And I just loved how sinister Circe came across in this, plus her design is gorgeous. Really well done! Also, I had high hopes for Odysseus' "what" face and was not at all disappointed lmao
Holy shit. This is one of my favorite songs and this is easily the dopest animatic I’ve seen I love the details on the transformation of the men and the one man who recognized that she was the cause of what was happening so he tried to kill her. He got close too but it’s hard to compete with a magical witch woman. I can’t wait to see more of your work it was amazing. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to watch it probably 20 more times today. Lol Also I love Eurylochus (poor man is done dirty by most of the community) your depiction really showed a horrified ptsd riddled man. I loved it.
The transformation scene was so well done, as was the rest of the animatic!! Your artstyle is so cool and I admire your work immensely- thank you for the animatic! 💚
Really amazing :D I have no words how good it is. Wait ofc. The transition to Eury and Circe was just so amazing. The transformation. The expresion esoecially Eurys Chef cooking! LOVE IT
Well of all the people I never expected to meet here- Huge fan, I've been watching you for years! :D I do occasionally, but it really depends on the circumstances/project! Feel free to DM me on Instagram if you ever need!
Absolutely gorgeous interpretation of this song. I love all the body language, the slow intensity of the transformations, the moment when one of the men tries to stab her but is held down. Such a terrifying, poised Circe. And the colors! The bright yellow of the curse complimenting the yellows of the scene on the beach? Beautiful.
Brooo the details, I love ittt!: The crew being in shock after Ruthlessness The crew building a campfire and a mini shade just to protect them is so cool The shading of Eury's seriousness when he expressed "A woman" and the simple lines from Ody's disbelief. You also made their transformation really gruesome as Eury did say it was not quick so it must've been painful for them (Especially the golden tears and drool, that was creepy for sure) Circe's dominion over animals and assuring a nymph while serving the men is also so neat. Also Circe overlooking Ody's ship and the rest of his crew. There's so many more details I could gush about, it's just that good!!
@TheSmoolio A thought did come to me "Hey, this Ody and Eury design looks familiar..." I exit the full screen only to see"Smoolio" and I was excited to see what was in-store for the video. 💜 Amazing work, Truly
OOH MY GOOOD this is incredible!!! I love the transformation scene SO MUCH, the body horror of it all! And the one crewmate trying to attack Circe in an attempt to stop the magic/take her down with them but she's so in control, he never stood a chance at all... that's so clever!! And Eurylochus seeing it all, Circe looking right at him! No wonder the man was so crazed when he got back! And I LOVE your storytelling, how Circe seems to be letting Eurylochus go as a warning to the rest of the crew, telling them "dont mess with me any further or this will be all your fate"!! Its SO GOOD! And I love your portrayal of Odysseus too, he looks so weathered and tired and full of grief, you can really see the effect the Ocean saga just had on him... oh and Circe's nymphs look soo cute I would want to protect them too
OH MY!!! GORGEOUS 😭💖💖💖 All the angles, the slow camera movement, and most of all the expressions (both body and facial expressions), I am mesmerized by this animatic!
OMG YOU COOKED SO HARD!! After seeing your updates on discord through the months, it's truly amazing to see the finished product! I love seeing frames and going OOH THAT FRAME! I KNOW THAT ONE! 💙
The transformation looked so awesome! Especially the part with the eye. Circe is so manacing here. Makes Eury wanting to leave very understandable. Also love the animation style change at "a woman" "what?"
This is probably the BEST puppeteer animatic I’ve EVER seen. The details, especially from the transformation scene, are everything. And your art style is so gorgeous too.
This is probably my favorite puppeteer animatic. Also this is probably my favorite Circe design or one of my favorite at least it’s the only one that captures how I see her. Great work!
The expressions are everything I look for in animatics. The body language conveys so much and builds upon the lyrics more masterfully than I’ve seen in any other animatic for anything
Thank you SO much, expressions are my passion! Drawing faces full of emotion without need for words is one of the most satisfying things in art for me, so glad to see that came across in this since it's my first proper animatic! :'))
@ I especially love the detail you manage to put into the expressions, like Circe’s first glimpse at her smirk looking a bit more sinister than it should for a brief moment before she’s actually revealed herself, hinting at her deceit, or how pained the eyes were when they were discussing whether they should stay or go. Especially with the knowledge that he’d holding back so much guilt while talking to Ody, you did an excellent job of showing it’s still effecting him even if he’s been told to keep it to himself for now. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for any other work you do.
Gods, this is gorgeous. The smoothness of the animation. The design of Cersei, and her nymphs the transformation of the men, and of course the 'A woman.' 'What?' scene. I love how you put extra detail in certain scenes that needed emphasis. Love the pairing of pink and florescent yellow, beautiful, and yet extremely unsettling.
I absolutely, genuinely ADORE this ❤❤ I love how emotive and expressive Eurylochus is in this whole thing, I adore it so, so much - (side-note, his stone face at "a woman" took me out completely, I was wheezing and then replaying it to wheeze some more), honestly I'm delighted how much attention he's getting in this song. I also love your Circe design, that aura of confidence and undercurrent of power, I'm in love, and then you keep emphasizing it with so many things, like having one of the crew try to attack her and she STOPS him not even an inch from her face, and the transformation! Ooof it looks so painful, and the hatred on his face!!! (It makes me wonder a little bit why she let Eurylochus go since she saw him there, because my man was next in line to be bacon). And listen, LISTEN, I'm slowly going crazy (in a very good way) at you having Circe go and see Ody's boat at the shore, because that amped up her danger vibes so much holy shit Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this. You did an AMAZING job! Genuine question though, what was Ody thinking when Eury was singing "gods, monsters" because that eyebrow raise has me dying of curiosity
I really like this and I like the style. I would love to see this style for a song like mutiny or Scylla.(I especially like how in the transformation sequence one of them in tries to stab her it gives such good characterization to the crew and how they aren't just going to sit around and die)
There are too many details I love about this animatic that'll take forever to list, but I will say... This is absolutely phenomenal. I feel like I notice more and more little details and each time I watch it through. Each character really feels like their own person. The composition, the little shifts in body language, the emotion from their eyes alone! Gosh, I could go on!
OMGGG that transformation sequence!! And her magic in general! Chilling!

I ADORE HOW INTIMIDATING CIRCE IS IN THIS, MY FAV PUPPETEER ANIMATIC FOR SURE!!
I particularly like this animation here from Puppeteer. She highlights Circe as the powerful character she is. She is in control of the situation and shows it in every frame of this wonderful work.
I really congratulate you for what you managed to produce and I hope to be able to see more content from you! :D
The faces at 1:41 killed me😂😂 great work 👏 👍🏾
Ha!
You should do a Done For Animatic!
Also I love the Scylla animatic you did for Jorge
The transformation looked especially painful 😊❤️
i love how eury is just shook throught the whole animatic
The fallen angel reference in that one zoomed in shot of the soldier's eye is sublime
This whole thing was INCREDIBLE! Not only was the animation very high quality, but the artistic choices? The Lucifer painting reference? AMAZING!
CIRCE looks absolutely gorgeous here my jaw dropped (can we talk about the transformation??? that was absolutely horrifying)
I love that you just casually dropped the best Puppeteer animatic I've ever seen!
Omg thank you so much, glad you like it!! :')
This is sick man, loved the dude that tried to stab Circe. You did great at making the crew’s transformation look painful
Wow, this was so good. 🔥 I love when people add details like this to humanize and flesh out the crew and Eury as individuals too.
Okay I get why Eurylochus might be scared to go confront Circe. She’s so intimidating.
Sorry Gigi but this is definitely gonna be the new puppeteer animatic for my playlist-
Yeah, I mean I’m going to show it to my twin first but it’s almost certainly replacing Gigi’s in my playlist
I loved how viceral that transformation was! If I was Eurylochus, I'd also be like "LETS NOT ACTUALLY"
Just love the transformation sequence. Circe’s got master magic u can’t deny
For some reason I just love those frames where he swings his cape on SO MUCH. It’s so smooth!!
Tbh best animation for puppeteer I’ve seen yet
idk how to explain to you how DELICIOUS this animatic is like from your artstyle to how u directed the scenes and AHHH this is so yummy thank you so much for this incredible service i'm obsessed
O my god! The transformation, the plant details, the circy design! It's so pretty!
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL- it's so smooth and the transformations are COOL AF it actually shows how powerful and frightening Circe can be
I LOVE the characterization of the crew!! The man trying to attack her with the knife?? FANTASTIC!
This is so great
I am in love with your shading on the faces
Its both comedic and awesome for showing emotions
Slight Jojo vibes tbh
Awesome work, keep on making stuff like this :D
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoy it🧡
One of my favourite parts of this animatic is that the backround characters are unique and actually detailed. it feels much cleaner
Imma be so real right now. I’d be one of the guys who went in, like, damn.
I literally laughed at the "what" because of the style change, BUT WHAT WAS THAT TRANSFORMATION, that was so cool!
You have no right making such a good animatic
I ADORE ALL THE EXPRESSIONS!!! Circe looks absolutely giddy and so powerful!!! The man look so traumatized and scared! It's amazing
WOWWOWOWOW I HAVEN'T SEEN AN ANIMATIC THAT LEFT ME AS SPEECHLESS AS THIS ONE DID IN YEARSS
Lol
Also I love Eurylochus (poor man is done dirty by most of the community) your depiction really showed a horrified ptsd riddled man. I loved it.
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I can't wait to show more of my work, the reactions are more positive than I ever anticipated!!🧡
@@TheSmoolio You deserve them dude it's fantastic. You earned every sub and upvote. Again you'll be seeing me on your next video.
The transformation scene was so well done, as was the rest of the animatic!! Your artstyle is so cool and I admire your work immensely- thank you for the animatic! 💚
You're so welcome, thank you for watching it!
Really amazing :D
I have no words how good it is. Wait ofc.
The transition to Eury and Circe was just so amazing.
The transformation.
The expresion esoecially Eurys
Chef cooking!
LOVE IT
This is so good omg! Do you take commissions?
Well of all the people I never expected to meet here-
Huge fan, I've been watching you for years! :D
I do occasionally, but it really depends on the circumstances/project!
Feel free to DM me on Instagram if you ever need!
I really like the detail of Odysseus having eye-bags from staying awake with the wind bag, that’s a very nice touch!
Beautiful.
1:46 Hello Sailor!❤
2:40 honestly that transformation is amazing 👏
Brooo the details, I love ittt!:
The crew being in shock after Ruthlessness
The crew building a campfire and a mini shade just to protect them is so cool
The shading of Eury's seriousness when he expressed "A woman" and the simple lines from Ody's disbelief.
You also made their transformation really gruesome as Eury did say it was not quick so it must've been painful for them (Especially the golden tears and drool, that was creepy for sure)
Circe's dominion over animals and assuring a nymph while serving the men is also so neat.
Also Circe overlooking Ody's ship and the rest of his crew.
There's so many more details I could gush about, it's just that good!!
Crying rn thank you so much for taking the time to comment, SO glad you enjoyed it!! 🥹
@TheSmoolio A thought did come to me "Hey, this Ody and Eury design looks familiar..." I exit the full screen only to see"Smoolio" and I was excited to see what was in-store for the video. 💜
Amazing work, Truly
And I love your portrayal of Odysseus too, he looks so weathered and tired and full of grief, you can really see the effect the Ocean saga just had on him... oh and Circe's nymphs look soo cute I would want to protect them too
Just, wow this animatic was amazing to see. I love the details during the transformation ❤️
OH MY!!! GORGEOUS 😭💖💖💖
All the angles, the slow camera movement, and most of all the expressions (both body and facial expressions), I am mesmerized by this animatic!
This animatic is BRUTAL oh my God
This is probably the BEST puppeteer animatic I’ve EVER seen. The details, especially from the transformation scene, are everything. And your art style is so gorgeous too.
CIRCE, I'M GNAWING AT THE BARS OF MY ENCLOUSURE...😣
This is probably my favorite puppeteer animatic. Also this is probably my favorite Circe design or one of my favorite at least it’s the only one that captures how I see her. Great work!
The expressions are everything I look for in animatics. The body language conveys so much and builds upon the lyrics more masterfully than I’ve seen in any other animatic for anything
Thank you SO much, expressions are my passion! Drawing faces full of emotion without need for words is one of the most satisfying things in art for me, so glad to see that came across in this since it's my first proper animatic! :'))
One of my favorite animatics, I hope you do more of these!
I will!
You’re telling me this is your 3RD VIDEO?!?! HOLY FREAKING PEAK MAN!!!!
That was amazing work! I love the crew actually trying to fight and Circe feeing very much a threat
I absolutely, genuinely ADORE this ❤❤
I love how emotive and expressive Eurylochus is in this whole thing, I adore it so, so much - (side-note, his stone face at "a woman" took me out completely, I was wheezing and then replaying it to wheeze some more), honestly I'm delighted how much attention he's getting in this song. And listen, LISTEN, I'm slowly going crazy (in a very good way) at you having Circe go and see Ody's boat at the shore, because that amped up her danger vibes so much holy shit
Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this.
This is the CRAZIEST animatic I've ever seen!! I genuinely loved every second of it!!!! it's literally so amazing omg
