I feel like all the next-gen consoles are focusing too much on the detail of the world, and less detail on the actual movement of characters. Like, it's super cool to be able to see for 100 miles in an open world game, but it's annoying when the characters movements are as stiff as mechanical puppets
Dude I absolutely agree. Movement and mechanics are just as important to immersion as a realistic environment. You can recreate the battle of Falujah a thousand different ways and mock-up glass houses and texture a few hundred doors to kick in and make a fantastic environment, but if your characters still turn like their on swivel skates, or jump like their wearing pogo sticks, or flinch at gunshot-wounds like their cattle trailer just hit a manhole, then it’s only gonna be fun for the first few times. Immersion is sacrificed against the intensity of the situation. And since respawns and checkpoints have been a thing for like ten years now, the only reason to play the game is the gunplay. Clean House was a great example of well-executed immersive balancing. And then you have missions like Into The Furnace which has some of the least immersive COD gameplay since Black Ops 3’s multiplayer. Everybody remembers the way Nathan Drake punches or desperately reaches for a ledge in a flying leap, but nobody remembers taking cover behind a wall with DShK machine gun fire punching holes in sandstone, because they’re just crouching and pooping a new mag in. S S. D D. Great game. For two or three replays.
I think it’s the overall console. With pc I think you get both they have more power. But with ps5 they give you the option up front and you can switch to have better top graphics, or better FPS and overall smooth movements. I guess it can’t do both.
If you choose higher FPS the graphics are still good just not quite as good
For me this just looks like 8 year old PC footage of Call of Duty
Mate blame the game devs. The consoles simply provide the hardware, they never gave rules as to how to apply this hardware to game mechanics. I'll also point out that we haven't had any true next gen games yet. Most off the current games are being made to be compatible with last gen.
My favorite mission also clean house loved the modern warfare campaign truly an amazing game

This game proved that call of duty does not need a yearly cycle , cold war just a big downgrade tbh
I liked cold war but felt it was a stretch of reality, and not reflective of the 1980s. This game was grounded and realistic. Hopefully they dedicate to making a continuation if this story this year

Realistic destruction and better A.I because CPU enemies are basically just standing there waiting to be shot

@@leginious relative to other games they are ok...relative to real life, they are not ok. lol Specifically, the animations of friendly AI, like when they are running in front of you or changing direction - they sometimes look awkward.
@@steadychaosproductions3376 i know but AI that moves as complex as a human is extremely hard.They actually used motion capture for the ai for a good chunk of missions, but standard ai movement is used in fights, unlike clean house where the entire level is motion captured so the ai looks real all the time

Yeah it all looks good but so did the ps4 before release, with ps4 I have to delete a game I have stored on it if I get a new game or a big update comes out and that really sucks big time. PS3 never had that with PS3 u might have to download a update or something but that’s it, you could play the new game like 5 or 10 mins once you put the disk in but ps4 you have to download for hours sometimes once you put the new game in and that could be on day 1 launch too. So let’s see about it’s other features first, cos the graphics might look amazing but if I can only have 3 or 4 games on my ps5 like the ps4 has them why even upgrade.

Playing hitman 3 since yesterday and the graphics are amazing plus it handles cod mw battlefield 5 and several other games like a champ. Couldnt be happier!

How many hundreds of bullets can your character absorb? he always get hit by charging like a bull but seems to be bulletproof😂
On realism difficulty you die almost immediately if you do something dumb.

the graphics look like 2015 era pc gameplay luls the real achievement here is that AMD is doing this with an APU 8c/16t chip, Ryzen is really insane, glad console has finally caught up a good bit

PC is better. After i played playstation ... i went over to pc. Graphs are much better and they don't rob their gamers. Ps isn't changing anything and everything gets more expensive for crap.

This is just the ps4 Pro version running on ps5 through backwards compatibility mode so no real difference. Same resolution and basically same frame rate.

People tend to forget that just because they have the newest console doesn't mean it'll look any better, you also need a better monitor that can run the required amount of Hertz, framerate, etc. to bring out the best in a gaming rig (console, pc, etc.).

Oh and by the way, I just got my first console ever, a PS5, so I have no skin in the 'PC vs Console' game (pardon the pun lol).
Reason I got a PS5 was to finally be able to play some games exclusive to it that I always wanted to play (Demon Souls, BloodBorne, remake of The Last of Us, Days Gone, etc) and do it on the latest hardware. $500 consoles were just never meant to compete with PC's costing ten times as much.

I mean...can at least everyone move over to VR and we can to the whole thing again ...the last 10 years, but this time we do it IN the game.....maybe time to leave 2D gaming like this me thinks...
