The OOparts song was made for the OWC 2020, a world cup for the game called osu. This is one of the best tie breakers that happened that time and for me, still is to this day. It was USA vs GERMANY btw
ooparts itself is to encapsulate many different styles in a rhythm game tiebreaker to showcase player skill in all sorts of skillsets, so that's why it full flavor
Full Flavour is a genre coined by an edm song by the same name. A track/song is called such when it mixes multiple genres at once.
I suggest Million PP, Nacreous Snowmelt, and Camellia's remix of Kobaryo's Invisible Frenzy (maybe take a listen to the original first lol).

OOParts means Out Of Place Artifacts. It refers to ancient artifacts that were too advanced to come from their time of origin.
It makes a lot of sense because it starts with common old instruments and progresses to a ton of modern techno sounds and genres that do not typically exist with guitar, snare drum, or piano and vibraphone (or whatever that was) traditionally.
I also love how the main drop near the end sounds like a 2x speed computer processed version of a classical concert piece melody

I never knew about that until I read this, and boy was I amazed and excited hearing it!
Love to see excitement for Camellia from someone who actually understands the composition behind his work! This guy is a music genius and everything he makes is wonderfully unique. If I could recommend any more Camellia I'd say Flying Out To The Sky (Camellia vocal version), Area 52, Ghost, Looking For Edge of Ground, and maybe Blackmagik Blazing? Every song this guy makes is compositional masterpieces, if you want your highspeed hardcore brain tickled this is the guy for you!!
but i mean he still sometimes makes songs that are not that good, but i cant really think of one because i didnt listen to alot of camellia
@@omis3322 Such is with every artist, and because camellia goes between so many styles there will be lots of tracks that some people will prefer to others. Most of his stuff is pretty well thought out at the very least, more bangers than flops that’s for sure
OWC is the osu! world cup. osu! is a rhythm game and the OWC is the world cup tournament for this game. Nowadays osu! gets custom songs that are only made for this tournament, especially the tiebreaker (the last match of the game that decides which team wins) and Camellia made this song for the OWC2022 tiebreaker. osu! gets custom songs for the Grand finals OWC tiebreaker for over 3 years now (or more idk)
you NEED to hear newspapers for magicians and we magicians still live in in 2021, newspapers is from a while ago, and still live is his sequel to newspapers. Newspapers is also my favorite song ever!

The amount of different elements in ooparts is due to it being a track made for the tiebreaker for a rhythm game called Osu's world cup. Basically, it was made with the express purpose of challenging top rhythm game players on various types of difficulty. This is something he did again in the future with Parallel Universe Shifter, which (imo) is the evolved form of this track. That's personal preference though. He does have some other full flavour (genre which consists of a bunch of different EDM genres smashed together into one, typically very long, track) songs but Parallel Universe Shifter is the one that really stands out to me, especially as it's relatively recent.
If you wanna go for something different though, you could try Nasty * Nasty Spell for that sweet, sweet electro swing, and KillerBeast for some delicious syncopated trap, an element I find Camellia always uses super well. I'd also recommend The Muzzle Facing (Long Muzzled Version) for simply going unreasonably and insanely hard. If you wanna hear more tracks of his with vocals, I'd check out Area52, which is one of his best of all time imo (plus it also has the aforementioned trap, just not to the same degree).
Take your pick! I'm down for whatever you find most interesting, because there is a criminal lack of people reacting to Camellia with musical understanding and knowledge (and just a lack of reactions to him in general tbh).

OOparts Was made for a tiebreaker in the grand finals world cup in a rhythm game called osu in 2020. In this match, it was the united states versus germany and it actually did go to tie breaker which means they did play this in the match to decide the winner. I highly recommend watching the match. OWC stands for the Osu World Cup. Also, they said standard because that's the main game mode of the game and there's world cups in every game mode.
Osu is probably the most popular rhythm game in the world.
My favorite Canellia song... I would say it's a competition between "Flash me back", "Together forever, my lovely lovely game boy cartridge", "Exit this earth's atmosphere" and "Light it up"
My favorite album of his is "Heart of android" for sure!
my favorite song from camellia is probably either Zombie circus or Denpa never dies if I really had to choose, it's honestly hard cuz all his songs are so different from each other, and there's also a LOT to choose from (last I checked, he had done 28 albums, 4 eps and quite a lot of singles)

Parallel Universe Shifter i wouldn't really recommend him, I think the final chorus is REALLY messy and I doubt he'd like it. Prob his least impactful TB

Both Flamewall and ΩΩPARTS are my favorite camellia songs ever, with 7,000 minutes and 4,000 minutes streamed respectively. Both banger tracks!

One of my favorite Camellia pieces is called something along the lines of Confusion Girl Soflan-chan (feat. nanahira on vocals). Soflan being a rhythm game term that derives from an old DDR song that had BPM / scroll changes as its gimmick. The Camellia piece has over 200 time signature changes.
"Normally I'm your average little girl! I love 4/4! However, once this BPM overlaps this odd meter, I shall transform into Confusion Girl Soflan-chan!"

IMO camellia's top 3 tracks are: Newspapers for Magicians, This Future (we didn't expect) or Exit This Earth's Atomosphere (Camellia's "PLANETARY//200STEP" Remix) {basically a self-remix of his older track; both of them are fire but this one hits much harder}
This Future is sooo good, its probably my #1 personally. Top 3 might be This Future, Quaoar, and Zirnitra. There are so many good ones to pick from though.
