I thought i had seen every video on UA-cam by this band, and just wandered across this. All members of the band are incredible, The music is fantastic and I just cannot say enough good things about the music.
They would have been great as a jazz band if they had stayed together. Instead, the stardom and movie stuff took over and they split up. I wonder if they still play?
I sent away for the movie A couple months ago and without knowing when I got it , it was on a freaky format that I couldn't watch on a standard CD player..

I'm sure the origional male pianist as well. Many faces I recal from the film.
The movie is hilarious. Most of the cast had no musical background and were taught to play and to swing.
They may not be in the Ellington or Goodman or Basie bands but they do hold their own!
