I know its not perfect, but who in their right mind can expect them to be as good as Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington or Harry James. What I love about these girls. Is seeing the pure joy they have in playing and performing it. And seeing their emotions come out at the end and how well the audience received them knowing all their hard work pay off. It's not a easy thing to do. To learn complex pieces like these songs, much less do it in the short amount of time that they had. Well done ladies, well done. You were a real joy to watch. That is such a rare thing to see these days. I so wish I could have been there to see it. I m not fluent in Japanese, I know a few basic words that is all. But who needs that when the music speaks to you so well.
Yes, it is the joy these young ladies bring forth in tribute to our bing band music of yesteryear. This is what our public education schools must bring back to the curriculum. Say no to the liberals who continue to destroy our children from kinder to college. Vote for school choice! Vote for Trump-Pence!

Not only can you feel that they're giving their all and trying their best, but also having fun while at it! it's really nice that not only they are able to enjoy it, but us on the receiving end can feel the emotions of joy and glee for hearing them play, and encourage them to keep playing. It's a really nice exchange and fills me with hope for enlarging girls voices in our society.

these girls only had 6 weeks of practice on their instrument prior to the beginning of the filming of the movie who says the yamaha music method does not work
I had read that to promote the movie, the actors did tours in the U.S. and Japan. However, all my resources have informed that they have never seen them perform in the U.S. and the movie has not even been seen in the U.S. either. All that I can find about them is here on UA-cam.

They did a much better performance in the movie than in these concerts. If one notices, they lost one of the trombone players, and I believe it was the one who wore glasses in the movie. Several years ago they had a DVD version of these that had English sub-titles and they stopped making it for some reason, wish they would bring it back.
