RECIPE:
Spaghetti and Meatballs (Serves 4-6)
INGREDIENTS:
For the meatballs:
1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
⅓ cup Italian bread crumbs
⅓ cup water
1 large egg
2 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoon dried parsley
¾ cup grated romano cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons canola oil
8 oz. spaghetti, cooked to al dente
For the sauce:
1 28 oz jar plum tomatoes (whole)
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
½ tablespoon sugar
½ cup grated romano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
First make the sauce. Add olive oil to a medium pan over medium high heat. Add the onions and garlic and saute until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Add the cooked onions and garlic and the rest of the sauce ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Return to the pot and bring the sauce to a simmer. Add the cheese and stir until melted. Allow to simmer as you make the meatballs.
To make the meatballs, start by mixing the water and bread crumbs together to make a paste. Add the bread crumb paste, egg, garlic powder, dried parsley and romano cheese to the ground beef. Use your hands to mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the meat. Coat your hands in olive oil and shape about 1 ½ tablespoons worth of the mixture into meatballs.
Once the meatballs are shaped, heat a large pan over medium heat with canola and olive oil. Add meatballs and brown them on all sides, about 8 minutes.
Once the meatballs are nicely browned, add the tomato sauce to the meatballs. Cover and allow to simmer until serving.
To serve, add spaghetti to a plate or shallow bowl. Top with generous amounts of sauce and meatballs.

About Christy Carlson Romano:
Christy has been a working actress and singer since she was 6 years old. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. *Producers and writers would want her back.* They understand the consumer/viewer demand for her. She had to have been asked to return. Hollywood pays attention to viewer demands. It’s all about how many eye balls will watch and bring revenue for the production.
Hollywood is very conservative right now. They don’t take as much risk on projects like they did in the last century. This is why we see reboots and Marvel movies happening all over the place.
I give another example: *If Christy’s UA-cam channel continues to grow, someone will have her in mind for future projects. Now, whether she’ll dive into those projects are up to Christy and whether the producers and writers feel, in the end, she is right for a particular role, based on a table read or audition.*
She might not want to. That's ok. Shit happens and people have lives, you know? Can't drop your life just to participate in fan service.

4:51 as someone who struggles with mental health, i can relate to lalaine’s answer to this question so damn much. when you’re in a brighter place after being stuck in so much darkness, being able to see that light is absolutely something to be proud of. i hope she truly is in a good place now and that she genuinely is proud of the progress she’s made, and will continue to make. it’s a tough battle, but it’s worth fighting. 💙

This brings me SO much joy. I've missed Lalaine! I think everyone who grew up with Miranda and Lizzie were so confused and sad when Miranda went to Mexico to visit family and just NEVER CAME BACK. It's so awesome to see Lalaine now, looking so amazing and exactly how I remember her. Except she's adult like the rest of us are now too! This video was super fun and totally made my day. This is such a great concept for a show! Love seeing these actors again!
I appreciate that she touched on her past a bit, indirectly, about how much shes changed and grown and how much work it is to just get by and BE day to day. It is something to be proud of. She also touched on people being inappropriate to her when they meet her as I can imagine everyone always asks her about past drug use or interpersonal drama as if it’s normal to ask a stranger these questions, since to them it’s just gossip and not life. She just wants people to accept Lalaine and leave all the baggage in the past
