What if we're making multiple trips in a day? Will it turn into a day pass like PRONTO does? What if we need to transfer lines? Will it deduct or allow a transfer at no charge?
Since so many people are glued to their phone, it shouldn’t be that hard to pull up your bank app to show the transaction. There’s no need to type in password on the phone, just use a fingerprint or facial recognition. Once the phone know it’s you & you’re in the app just show it to the security.
iPhone: You open Wallet app, not double click side, and choose card you tapped and it lists charges. Portland OR, UK and most European countries has had this on public transportation for years. Super handy.
I'm a bus driver for MTS. It will charge you a one way fair ($2.50). You Don't swipe your credit card. You just tap your credit card on the machine like a pronto card.
