  • This is how to reset the wrench icon:
    - Push yellow button till you get to a certain point.
    - scroll through till you get to 250
    - one more push of the button and you are at "OFF"
This just eliminates the repair service countdown.
There is more than one 2004 model. If yours is an 03 and looks the same then use this method. If yours is an 04 and looks different then you have a different sub model. The 10th digit on this sportsman is 4, therefore it is an 04. If your odometer looks like this one then use this method to get the wrench icon erased, if yours looks different then keep searching and move on to the next tutorial. Good luck!
    Thank you for watching!

When you say "R" are you saying the quad thinks it's in reverse?

Did you read the VIN#? There is more than one 2004 model. If yours is an 03 and looks the same then good for you. If yours is an 04 and looks different then you have a different sub model. The 10th digit on this sportsman is 4, therefore it is an 04. Enough with everybody guessing what year this is. Either way, if your odometer looks like this one then use this method to get the codes, if yours looks different then keep searching and move on to the next UA-cam video. Thank you.
