Thanks buddy always enjoy watching your videos, u saved me lots of time and headache. Keep up the good work.
i know this video is 2 years old, but if you use the Polaris Spark Plug wrench in your tool kit that came with the wheeler, it was a lot easier than trying to get a 3/8 wrench and spark plug socket....
Thank you!
This helped me alot. I did this tonight on my 800HO.
Thumbs up from Sweden! 👊🏻
Hello Sweden! I hope you have good luck with the ATV. How is things in Sweden?
I love the music. Thanks for posting this!
About to do mine!! Thank you! Same thing with me, went to a Honda dealer and they didn’t have the Champion, got the same NGKs. Mine is an 08.
Good luck!
So good at explaining I really appreciate that factor of your videos
Thanks for the great comment.
Now it’s time to go bass fishing . I’m done with all my working on the Polaris 600 twin 2003 tune up ect… thanks for the video
I will meet you at the lake!
Awesome vid, got an 07 sportsman 700 and im dreading that left side plug.
Good help God bless brother
These polaris quads are a pain in the ass to work on, I just bought a 2004 polaris 600 sportsman thats been sitting for like 10 years, I got it to run but it's really boggy and won't idle, so it definitely needs some carb and throttle body cleaning and alot of servicing and cleaning.
Yes they are a pain. In your case I would take off everything on the top of the bike. So you can see what been chewed on or all the other problems that might be under the finders. And that way you can get to the spark plugs and the carbs. You can clean out the gas tank. I think the spark plug socket was a 5/8. I think. But good luck!
The BassHunter yea I took off all the plastics, Airbox, battery gas tank, and carb. The quad has really low hours but it was left outside so there's lots of spider webs and crap. I'm gonna clean everything, clean carb, new air filter, new oil filter, spark plugs, new battery, and I'm gonna detail everything and put it back together. I got it to run before I took it apart and the engine sounds really healthy. I got a good deal I paid $1300
I think your editing skills are very good!
Excellent video and comments, I thought I had to pull the gas tank, thanks
Thanks for your videos. They have been very helpful for me working on my 06 sportsman 500.
M 6706 You are welcome.
thank you for the video.... plug on the left was really tough to get out!
Yes it was. I hope you was able to get it out. Just time and the right angle. It will come out of there.
Thank you man this helped alot !
Nice job
Thanks for the videos it me on my 2008 polaris
You are welcome 🙏
Great video!!!
it's tight. i did my 2004 just like this though.
and that left side is all by feel
You forgot the anti seize lube on spark plug threads makes life a lot easier.
I disagree on this bud. But to each their own.
Any input on a topend rebuild on a 2003 sportsman 700. Its burning oil and smoking bad.
And it has this same engine
@@KnifeHandWoodDesign Sorry, but no I have not had that problem yet. But I’m sure you know if it’s burning oil. It’s time for a rebuild. The rings are shot. I sorry but I can’t help you on that one.
Anyone have a problem with the plug boot not sitting right? Did mine and the boot doesn’t seem to wanna sit right hit some water bogged out back fired toyed with the plug boot under the gas tank worked for a bit then same thing smh right squeeze
You might want to check inside the boot to make sure that the connect inside the boot is not bend. Or maybe the spark plugs you removed did not have the screw in tip that some spark plus have on them. And the ones you replace them with has the tip on them. And try putting spark plug boot grease in the boot to help keep water out of the boot. That’s all I can come up with.
could you mention what size tool you need and what plug number so I can order some? I have an 800 sportsman.
The spark plugs that you need are 2 - NGK / BKR7E. That covers 2006 to 2014 Polaris 800 sportsman. A 5/8in spark plug wrench should fit that spark plug.
You drifted off when stating the plug gap.??
. 035" sorry..
Hey what size spark plug socket is it for that polaris. I have to change mine
5/8"
What was spark plug gap on NKG plugs?
I see it elsewhere in thread
