I think it's sweet that Candace and Kirk are close. I didn't watch Growing Pains growing up, but I did watch Full House and still do at 38. But I think Kirk looks better now than when he was Mike. I didn't really notice him until the Left Behind movies and when he did Fireproof.
Kirk Cameron and I had the same driving instructor. On my first day behind the wheel, my instructor said he had just taught Kirk Cameron behind the wheel instruction. This was back in 1989. That was really cool! Especially when Growing Pains was at the height of its run. Kirk seems like a super nice guy, and that’s what my driving instructor said some 30 years ago, he was a very down-to-earth person.
His wife Chelsea Noble actually appeared on Full House as one of Jesse's girlfriends in season one. But I think it's sweet that Kirk really loves her and when he did Fireproof he was supposed to kiss the woman who was his wife and he refused. They shot the scene and took the woman out and put Chelsea in her place as he doesn't believe in kissing any woman but his wife, not even in acting.
Totally neat seeing them reminisce on here. Love them both! Candace looks a lot like her mom and Kirk looks a lot like his dad. I follow them both on instagram. Kirk is right, you get sense of family love from the shows.
Kirk played a fantastic cool guy back in the day. That was a good show. Both were. Sometimes you need a little wholesome in your life. These kids delivered that to a lot of people.
My favorites shows growing up. I m 52 now and they are my daughter’s favorites show growing up and she is 22 now. They don’t make shows like these anymore!!! We were blessed!
If they had a marathon of Full House on TV today. I would sit back and watch it. This show l could never get tired of. Love Full House and Fuller House. You all were cute when you were young.

Both are amazing shows that have a heart of gold. Granted life can't be wrapped in 30 minutes with a neat little bow, but the love was the driving point of these shows. Nowadays, were all too busy looking at phones & technology that we sorta lost our way to communicate. Could you IMAGINE if what we have NOW was thrown back to 1950's and what the 1950's had was thrown forward to this time? Both generations would be lost. Life was simpler back then and people knew how to talk to one another. We need to go back to that.
I remember a friend and I finding an address in Teen Magazine to write to Kirk. We sent him fan letters stating how incredibly cute he is. We never got any response but it was such a thrill to think he would personally see our letters and very nostalgic to remember spending weekends hanging his new posters in our bedrooms as kids!

It brings back a lot of memories. I was a little kid when I watch Growing Pains, and that was a Chinese version. Time flies, but Kirk's warm smiles never change.
I have never seen them together outside of their 90s tv shows (I have seen all of the episodes of both sitcoms). This was super cute!!!! Though it's leaving me with a strong sense of nostalgia and longing for those days.

Kirk Cameron and I had the same driving instructor. On my first day behind the wheel, my instructor said he had just taught Kirk Cameron behind the wheel instruction. This was back in 1989.
That was really cool! Especially when Growing Pains was at the height of its run.
Kirk seems like a super nice guy, and that’s what my driving instructor said some 30 years ago, he was a very down-to-earth person.

They shot the scene and took the woman out and put Chelsea in her place as he doesn't believe in kissing any woman but his wife, not even in acting.

Both are amazing shows that have a heart of gold. Granted life can't be wrapped in 30 minutes with a neat little bow, but the love was the driving point of these shows. Nowadays, were all too busy looking at phones & technology that we sorta lost our way to communicate. Could you IMAGINE if what we have NOW was thrown back to 1950's and what the 1950's had was thrown forward to this time? Both generations would be lost. Life was simpler back then and people knew how to talk to one another. We need to go back to that.

I remember a friend and I finding an address in Teen Magazine to write to Kirk. We sent him fan letters stating how incredibly cute he is. We never got any response but it was such a thrill to think he would personally see our letters and very nostalgic to remember spending weekends hanging his new posters in our bedrooms as kids!
