I see a gardenia in my future! I’m a zone 6. However I’m going to purchase a very large pot for her and have already picked a spot inside to overwinter her.
Hi, Jenny 👋🏼 I planted a Tuff Stuff in full afternoon sun ☀️ up here just South of Boston; zone 6 and she is NOT happy! Constant water and burning tips. She’ll be moved this Fall for sure. Gorgeous 😍plant, though! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶
I overwintered the Fairytrail Bride hydrangea outside in a sunny location in a pot against the house. It was successful. Same with my sister. We are 6b Philly suburbs.
I love how Spring Meadow Nursery has photos of the plants from far away unlike other nurseries. A man and a dog pose with the plant in front of them. :)
Love Indian Hawthorns’ foliage, flowers, and berries. Warning, they do not do well with cold cold weather. Even in Texas (7b/ 8a) ours have suffered from severe winter burn and large amounts of them in the area have died with the colder winters we have had for past few years. I mulch ours up and cover them if we are getting severe winter weather. I also would plant them in a more protected spot for winter weather if possible.
Thanks Jenny for the review of mostly southern shrubs. We southern gardeners (9b) tend to feel a little neglected and envious of all the plants that generally don’t survive our climates. It is refreshing to know that Proven Winners is putting some focus in this area. In terms of hydrangeas that are my favorite, I just have to let them go, as no matter how hard I have tried, they just can’t survive the late summer temps in my zone.
Oh my gosh those Azaleas and the Hawthornes are gorgeous Jenny. I'm so excited for the coming year. Will definitely be making another trip to see you guys. Can't wait to see how you and Jerry plant the signature garden . Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗💓💞💕
I am in love with that beautiful pink Azalea, and no Southern garden is complete without Gardena’s. They always make me think about my grandmother, they were her favorite flowers 🌸 ❤
Jenny I can't wait to see the progress in the Proven Winner's Signature garden. Also, the official proven winner's website lists fairytrail bride as hardy to zone's 6 to 9. I've seen many conflicting sites where some say zone 7 and some zone 6. I bought one this year and I'm concerned about wintering it over in zone 6a.
So excited as I do see the shrubs online on your store. I’m in 8A Texas - no rain here for almost 3 months and temps 107 on average… Northside Garden or East Garden where I gonna concentrate on from now on. Thanks for the video.
Hi Jenny 🌺. These shrubs looks so pretty .I lovet . I have the shrub la vida mas it have beautiful flowers in spring I planted it it apart shade and grow well and you can plant it in full sun it will grow well for you . Have awonderful day .🌺🌻🌺
Jennie, I love Proven Winners plants. They are pretty easy to find in my area (Raleigh suburbs). . But if you are starting a mail order business, would you consider carrying some of the Southern Living Plant Collection plants? It seems more difficult to find those plants. I really want one of the white Loropetalums and I also want some agapanthus. All sold out online. No where in the garden centers.
Jenny, thanks for sharing new plants. Would it be possible to post the name of the plant on the screen. Sometimes it's hard to read the card! Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge of plants!
Other than (don't grow them) advice for zone 9b? I've tried to grow hydrangeas but it gets over 100° by 9,10am so even morning sun gets them burned to the ground 😢. Still love watching all your hydrangeas videos 😂
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you but no, you have too many down there. Too many snakes, too many spiders, too many hurricanes and too much humidity. 🌺💚🙃
Hi Jenny! I love your channel and the wonderful information you share! I do have a question. I recently purchased a proven winner fairy trail hydrangea in a 2 gallon container and I currently have it in a 20 inch pot. I live in Wilmington NC (zone 8A) and I have it on my patio where it gets some morning sun and afternoon shade. Is this a good location or do you think it can tolerate more sun? PS I’m still trying to talk my hubby into making a weekend trip to come visit your beautiful nursery next summer since your only about 4 hrs from me😉
Very interested in Juiced Orange Jessamine. Can you please advise whether it is toxic like Carolina jessamine vine? Also, can flowers be used in bouquets? Thank you very much for your videos!
Hi Jenny, I trust your always honest and well experienced information. Fell in love with those gardenias, 'Steady as She Goes .' Reaching out for your opinion as to whether or not they'll thrive outdoors in 7a Long Island area. Proven Winners did indicate zone 7 on their label. Any thoughts?
Are these hydrangeas prone to fungus and black spot? I’ve had the hardest time with my “Endless Summer” hydrangeas getting too wet from rain and then they end up looking horrible most of the season. 😢
We have the perfectomundo pink azalea, but it only bloomed in the spring for us .... any suggestions to get it to bloom like it's supposed to? Thank you in advance( Washington state zone 8b planted on the southwest side of our house... it gets morning shade 🤷🏼♀️)
I would put it on a regular fertilizing schedule during the warmer months. Here's a link to the page on Proven Winners website that gives a bit of instruction. Scroll all the way to the bottom to the 'Maintenance Notes" www.provenwinners.com/plants/rhododendron/perfecto-mundo-double-pink-reblooming-azalea-rhododendron-x
Michigan 6a here! Is Spring meadows nursery open to the public or just for Nursery owners? There’s so many Proven Winners flowers/shrubs on my list for my new home. Would love to visit your beautiful nursery but that’s definitely a long road trip home with lots of plants!
Thank you for replying! Maybe you will have your online shopping in place when I get ready to start my landscaping & new flower beds! I have so many perennial's that I love but not everything is good for zone 6a. I will be getting a gardenia though & putting it in a container like you mentioned!
Anyone offering tips on how to keep a gardenia alive in zone 9b I will take them, I have killed more than I can count 😢I just love their fragrance but they hate me.
Taman kecil yang menawan. Bunga bunga terlihat subur dan segar
I see a gardenia in my future! I’m a zone 6. However I’m going to purchase a very large pot for her and have already picked a spot inside to overwinter her.
I love it, enjoy!!!
I wish proven winners would make more full shade plants. I have so many trees it is so hard to find plants.

Those Shrubs are beautiful (Steady as She Goes) looks really gorgeous

Excited to see how they do!! Especially the Indian Hawthorn!!! I am in a zone 8B!!!!! 😁😁😁😁
I really enjoyed this video. Most of those plants wouldnt work for my 5A growing zone. But I still LOVE seeing what's new!!

Good to see a new pinky winky, I have the old version, mine is about 10 foot by ten foot, this year it has some pink on it but not very often.

I totally agree!
We need to replace some shrubs, so this is perfect for us to learn about what is available from Proven Winners! 🙂
Really wish proven winners would hybridize a reblooming azalea for the northern gardens...I'm zone 5..those azaleas were beautiful..

You and me both!!!

Good afternoon Jenny n Jerry so happy you for your shipment of shrubs in
🥰 so many beautiful shrubs for my zone 9A 😍
I love the jazz hands but I live in zone 6b. It's so beautiful! Thanks to you Jenny, I think I'll try a gardenia.
Love them all! I am partial to hydrangeas but those azaleas are a winner to me! Thank you for this great video!
So beautiful, Jenny! I'll watch again to jot down my favs. Thank you!!

The Let’s Dance Can Do performed well in my zone 5 🌸❤️🇨🇦 so I would be looking to getting that new one!
Watching from Delaware.
Beautiful plants 😊😊👌🌿🌿 looking forward to seeing them in the new signature garden.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful plants with us.

As long as we can get the plants then we certainly will!
Yay!! I love Shrubs!! 😊❤😂
Added a vanilla spice this season!
I love abelias! Great evergreen and the pollinators enjoy them too. Butterflies and hummingbirds are all over mine. That new one looks so pretty!
I adore the colors on this abelia!
Perfecto Mudo Double Pink. I need that.
How exciting!
Jenny, thanks for sharing new plants. Would it be possible to post the name of the plant on the screen. Sometimes it's hard to read the card! Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge of plants!
I think that fairy tail bride hydrangea will be the first plant I order from you. It sounds like it might actually do well in Houston.
Other than (don't grow them) advice for zone 9b? I've tried to grow hydrangeas but it gets over 100° by 9,10am so even morning sun gets them burned to the ground 😢. Still love watching all your hydrangeas videos 😂
PW needs to figure out azaleas and gardenias and crepe myrtles for the northern climates as well. 🌺💚🙃 And tea olives ! 🌺💚🙃 and camellias 🌺💚🙃
Orrrr, you could move to the south and be our neighbors 😉🥰
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you but no, you have too many down there. Too many snakes, too many spiders, too many hurricanes and too much humidity. 🌺💚🙃
I bit the bullet and bought a pillow talk gardenia. I’m a 6b but I planted it in a pot. Any tips for overwintering it in the basement.

Does proven winters make a petite panicle hydrangea that grows only on new wood..? Want for container!!! Thanks

Dang, I want a dogwood
If the shrubs are grown in Michigan how do they handle our weather? Just wondering if you know ? 🌺💚🙃
Are you going to be able to ship these when you are ready to ship plants?
Loropetalum 😮
Beautiful plants! When is the best time to prune a gardenia bush?
After its first initial bloom in summer. They bloom on old growth so do NOT prune it in fall, winter, or spring!
Wow that dogwood is great! Looks very similar to my Cornus kousa ‘Celestial Shadow’ 🫶🏻
Are these hydrangeas prone to fungus and black spot? I’ve had the hardest time with my “Endless Summer” hydrangeas getting too wet from rain and then they end up looking horrible most of the season. 😢

They serve wholesale customers only.

Love the azalea 🌺! Do they have other colors? I don’t do pinks
They sure do! White, purple, red, & orange off the top of my head.
Amen to the comment just below= my shrubs are at least 25-30 years old and need to .
Be replaced- see you next year
🙋

Ha unless you live in Texas where it is 107 today!
Fall is still a great time to plant in Texas, but it is going to hit differently on the calendar😊
Why can’t you sell as 1 gallon? All 3 gallon is is more dirt.
Not true, a 3-gallon plant has 3x the amount of roots as a 1-gallon.
My Fairy trail Bride looks nothing like that! Disappointing.
