This is part 2 of a 3 part tutorial on how to perform the 720 in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. This video will teach you how to buffer a 720 from Zangief's hop.

Awesome I am going to try this tonight. His super is super difficult to do. Thanks for sharing.
Good luck, don't get discouraged. It took me a while before I got good at doing it. I didn't even bother trying to do 720s for at least a year or two of playing the game.
that technique can be done with the negative edge using just the jab button
If you use negative edge, might as well hold and release 3 buttons to get 3 chances instead of one.
hi Vodka great video, just curious is the flicker method, the one done By Ono in High Score Girl a genuine method of inputting the 720 motion or was it just for show?
The method Ono does in HSG is called the Hajiki screw. It is a real method for performing the 360 very fast. You also have to use it if you want to do a standing 720. To do the hajiki screw, you need to flick the joystick. I'm not very consistent with doing it. You also need a seimitsu stick with a short throw distance. If you screw up however, there is a risk of getting a green hand. Just something to be aware of. You can play gief at a high level without needing to do the hajiki but being able to do it consistently does make you even more dangerous and makes your footsie game that much stronger.
@@vodkagobalsky wow thanks Vodka I very much appreciate this, and thanks again
It’s been literally less than an hour and only 2 video in and I’ve landed it a great amount of times, all that’s left to do is to perfect it and land it consistently
That's awesome! Yeah, don't be afraid to try it out during a match. It will be come second nature in no time. Easiest way to land is obviously on a dizzied opponent but you'd be surprised how often you can land it from a jump when the other person isn't ready.
