ETNA | ARE WE ON MARS?

Excursion to the largest volcano in Europe, Etna. I booked this excursion on the Etna Experience website which included the whole day with the various stages. After agreeing on the meeting point in Catania, with a van they came to pick me up and passing from the refuge Sapienza I subsequently undertook the cable car to climb to the point from where the special 4x4 vehicles that accompanied up to 2750 meters high. Unfortunately the snowfall of the previous days (May, but at high altitudes) prevented me from arriving further up, so the guide took me to see another side near. After that you return down by cable car and you go to see the cave of the three levels (the volcanic cave), finished the visit is including a lunch break with some local products.
The second part of the excursion I returned from the parts of the refuge Sapienza, always accompanied by the guide who explained everything in detail and I did a scenic route through the craters Silvestri.
