You should never put lemon peels or any food scraps down your garbage disposal! Even though your garbage disposal will probably be fine, lemon peels do not break down and can easily clog your drains! We have cleared many kitchen sink lines with citrus peels in them! 👊🖐️🍋
While I’ve never put that qty of ice down my disposal I am guilty of the lemon. But it’s usually just one lemon. But (hangs head in shame) I have put all that stuff down my disposal.
What you do is you put like a cup of ice a, 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of dawn and a quarter lemon. and that will do it!
