My Water Shut Off is a Round Handle and there's nothing else except a Water Usage Meter attached to the Outside pipe ( which is only about 1-2 diameter Small ) my house was built in 1959, Original pipes I I L___0___o____l Left side is pipe to Outside, Right Side is Pipe to other Interior pipes... Large 0 is the Spigot Turn Off, the Right side smaller o is the Water Company meter. Hope this makes sense

That machine you use for main lines is way to small. The company we hire has a lot bigger machine with reinforced cable and has different heads to use. It has three in head attachment they use on a three inch cutter with a drop on it that allows the cutter to move around in the pipe why use a inch and a half head in a 3 inch line. That jetter is also a lot smaller and they have 400 feet of jetter hose.

While I’ve never put that qty of ice down my disposal I am guilty of the lemon. But it’s usually just one lemon. But (hangs head in shame) I have put all that stuff down my disposal.

What you do is you put like a cup of ice a, 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of dawn and a quarter lemon. and that will do it!

I am not 100% whether my valve is 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch , etc. there is a large “1” on the side of the valve but does this mean 1 inch? If I order a 1 inch valve off Amazon will it work. I have not removed the valve yet but have another old cracked valve that side by side looks the same size and also has a “1” on it’s side. Yet when I measure the inside diameter of valve (thread edges) it is 1 1/4 inches. When I wrap a string around the pipe it’s attached to divide its length by 3.14159 it’s also approx 1 1/4 inches. I am so confused. What does the “1” on the side of valve mean?
