At the end of the day it’s music and your job is to make a good song not just yap a bunch of filler lyrics at a fast pace over really mediocre production. Diss song or not lyrics metaphors are only one part of a song. Beat selection and the pocket you choose to rap in on it is just as important as the lyrics, it makes and breaks songs.

I've listened to Euphoria and NLU daily since they've dropped. Would listen to 6:16 too if it was on streaming services. Listened to family matters twice (when it dropped and after NLU dropped). THP6 sucks
The difference between the two is that one is a hit maker that adapts to trends while the other makes art and bends the sound to hit will. This means kendrick isn't always playable in a club but in terms of genuine art there's no debate he takes the cake. Drake can have lines about being a ped0 in his music but it doesn't matter because people can shake their ass in a club to it

Drake saying that he leaked info was an obvious angle that has no weight without proof. It gives off the image of a desperate lie. Im most likely not the only one that forecasted that response when meet the grahams dropped. Drake has more of a burden of proof than Kendrick. If he was a few steps ahead like he stated, he should have dropped the receipts almost immediately instead of waiting a few days. Being called a pedophile is no joke. The interesting thing about this particular claim is that if what he is saying is true, he would’ve had control of the receipts he is letting out. It would not be hard to back that claim by showing the world what he has been doing. Drake would’ve put Kendrick in a corner pretty easily in the eye of public opinion. Why hasn’t he done this? This is one reason why I think Kendrick won.

The difference between the two is that one is a hit maker that adapts to trends while the other makes art and bends the sound to hit will. This means kendrick isn't always playable in a club but in terms of genuine art there's no debate he takes the cake. Drake can have lines about being a ped0 in his music but it doesn't matter because people can shake their ass in a club to it

Drake saying that he leaked info was an obvious angle that has no weight without proof. It gives off the image of a desperate lie.
Im most likely not the only one that forecasted that response when meet the grahams dropped. Drake has more of a burden of proof than Kendrick.
If he was a few steps ahead like he stated, he should have dropped the receipts almost immediately instead of waiting a few days. Being called a pedophile is no joke. The interesting thing about this particular claim is that if what he is saying is true, he would’ve had control of the receipts he is letting out. It would not be hard to back that claim by showing the world what he has been doing. Drake would’ve put Kendrick in a corner pretty easily in the eye of public opinion. Why hasn’t he done this?
