OMG! That was just amazing!! It brought tears to my eyes to see the mother and baby together. The baby looked like it was kissing mama. Thanks so much for sharing.
Oh gosh, what a great adventure you guys had in Bukit Lawang !! Enjoy watching all those animals that crossed the path on Day 1 even though there wasn't any sight of orang-utan. Wow, Day 2 was a fun one, travelling along the rough river on that boat taxi. Day 2 was a lucky day indeed... wooooow, spotted 6 orangutans and Christiana, you are right. It was like the baby orangutan was putting up a show for you guys...👍😀 A big shout-out to the guide who is so creative with his fruits/breakfast presentation. Quite an array of dishes for dinner on Day 1. A wonderful outro of this vlog with a lovely song with meaningful lyrics from the guide....just amazing and the best coooool video. Great job and a huge thanks, Joao Christiana.
INDONESIA THIS do not only wonderful contry but INDONESIA this WONDERLAND country in the word.many animal unique in indonesia (komodo dragon/jurassic park real heritage animal in labuhan bajo ,paradise bird in westpapua ,elephant park ,orang utan in sumatra)and many more ..
The Orangutans are amazing, privilaged to have seen them at Semonggoh in Sarawak a few times. Strong enough to pull your head out of the socket and yet can be so gentle. I love to be in these Rain forests.. They have a similar monkey to the Thomas Leaf Monkey, the Silver Langur or Silver leaf Monkey in Bako NP in Sarawak. Was amazing to see the turtle swimming in the stream. Must have been great in the cool fast running water too, tubing looked fun but I am glad that you got to see the Orangutans. It is something that you will remember forever and sadly something that future generations might not get to see at all. Your guide is a real character. Your first day reminded me of Bako NP, I was trying to see the Probocis monkies and trekked for hours without success, I came back to the main beach and they were all there, within 1 minute of our accomodation.
This is a responsible tour unlike what i saw on past videos of bukit lawang. Tourists hugging orangutans and feeding them. Some people held for ransom as they want food from tourists. You will never see it in semenggor and sepilok (borneo). We do not allow close contact.
@@Travelgramers i hope other tour groups do the same. Human disease can transfer to them. It is like when europeans landed in america. Many red indians or natives died. Not from war but disease.
Christiana looked excited. Love to see the expression on her face. Finally, both of you met the Orang Utan. Exciting river ride.Should have been here when I was younger. Too old for me. Amazing and interesting video. Stay safe and take care. Where next? I will be watching.
I recommending you for the next trip to Lombok Gili Trawangan, labuan bajo komodo dragon island in Flores INDONESIAN, and mount Bromo ❤️❤️❤️ the great love of INDONESIAN guys ❤️❤️❤️
Great adventure at Bukit Lawang. You did not find any orang utan on day 1 but spotted some monkeys. On day 2, you spotted orang utans and also baby orang utans several times. Mission success. 👍👍👍
Hello. Your channel is helping us a lot to plan our trip to sumatra. We would like to know if it was ok in every city for the couple to sleep in the same room? We heard that recently there is a new law that forbbids non married couple to sleep in the same room. Terimakasih !
Hi From our understanding this only applies to muslims if you are a foreigner they won’t bother with that but if you are muslim from Indonesia or a foreigner from a muslim country they will certainly ask for the marriage certificate. If they ever ask just say you are married. I’m sure it will be fine 😁 Enjoy sumatra 😁😁

A bit of a delicate question, but how does one do one's 'business' in the jungle? Is there a toilet around... 🤔
😄😄 there's a pit toilet at the camp site
watch out leeches…..
We got a few along the way 😅
Oh no!!!
