I am just going to say this. I am skeptic. I spent a career in the USMC and know there is no evil greater than the evil men are willing to commit against each other. I rarely comment. But I want to say I have enjoyed many of the stories. I don't know how many of these are stories believed by the story writers to be true and how many are just made up. But this one was one of the best. Well told Sir, you have the nack for telling stories.

I too served 4 years in the Corps. I agree about your comment on evil. I've learned to accept that to gain money or power/control, human life is worthless to many evil people. There is a place in Hell for them. This year, there should be much exposure.

Best BF story to date Cam, as a former resident of Ky & casual spelunker, I give this two thumbs up for authenticity/believability - caving is spooky as hell, with the lights off - you will experience the darkest pitch black possible on Earth, & that's no sht! Even worse, after a few minutes of staring into the dark - you begin to see exactly what you see with your eyes closed while still open - open/close close/open it's all the same, that alone can drive you batty - pun intended - I have a fascination with caves - but after hearing this one.... ummm I think I've been cured of my "cave curiosity" :)

I cannot imagine how those people who were dragged into that chamber by those things would have felt in the dark, hearing all those God awful noises of the others being ripped apart and consumed. Those monsters fighting over the scraps and moving closer and further all in pitch black darkness 😳 all I know is, those item that were found weren't necessarily all part of a "gifting" scenario. I mean, there were toys! And children's clothing and shoes, it breaks my heart to think that maybe, at one point, the abducted thought they were going to be friendly with them, since there are supposedly adolescents in the group of BF, and then to have let their guards down just to be eaten anyway? I don't think these things will ever want to "Coexist". The native Americans said this was happening and nobody wants to listen. Kentuckian Lore, past and present, heeds warning of staying out past dark. They're man eaters. Period.

I mean the native americans have said as much over and over again. The majority of tribes never spoke of bigfoot with anything other than fear and horror. The settlers dismissed them as nothing more than indian superstition and fairy-tales to frighten children. This is the price of arrogance and not being able to see past your own ego. I feel shame and sadness for all the people who have died to these monsters over the centuries all because they were dismissed as myths or superstitions. They should all be hunted down like the giants and trolls of European folklore who basically behaved in the exact same manner. David either slays Goliath or Goliath slays him.

Surprisingly my only successful Bigfoot hunt where I actually saw one of these creatures in daylight along with tracks was in this area. Going into a large open mouth cave where the light of day is clearly visible is fine but slithering through holes that are almost too small for a mouse, holds zero fascination to me. And then to run into human remains and ANY sort of wild animal is the stuff nightmares are made of when trapped under ground.

There’s some real deep history between Sasquatch and Kentuckians.
Kentuckians are very proud people. They were the first English settlers east of the Appalachian mountains - following Boone. (Check out Daniel Boone’s “giant man” encounter, btw) and many peoples heritage in Kentucky trace back to the late 1700s.
And Kentuckians are very quiet people, I mean they really keep to themselves.
Kentucky has two major landscapes. Rolling hills and mountains. Caves, knobs, hollers, deep wilderness, huge mountains. Thick green brush.
It’s the perfect place for these creatures.
I mean there’s people right now living in the mountains of Kentucky who probably have been in contact with the outside world for over 30 years.
    These are some REMOTE areas.
    Here’s the kicker, for me:
Very few native tribes settled in Kentucky on agreement with each other. It was said to be a phenomenal hunting ground.
Why would they settle across the Ohio river in indiana and not central Kentucky?
Same goes for Tennessee. Very remote b
But it would not surprise me that these tribes never heavily settled because it was the territory of these creatures. The native people would pretty much only use these areas to hunt.
In Nelson County, Ky (Near the town of of New Haven/Culvertown… people from Kentucky go by county name, not City name) there is a story from the 1970s from one of the Simpsons boys (Kenny?) talking about what he and his buddies called the Hortacourt Monster. They saw it coming out of a creek bed while they were walking through a holler. Said it walked upright, covered in hair, etc. the whole 9.
Now, Simpson only saw this things for a few seconds but would openly talk about it for the rest of his life. My mom went to high school with him. It was a running joke but I think he got used to people not taking him serious.
Now, there’s all types of stories about Kentucky Bigfoot.
The beast in land between the lakes is most famous. But keep in mind on why people don’t go openly talk about this and report sightings…
These are very secretive folks and their families have lived in these areas for over 250 years.

I live 30 mins from Grayson, Kentucky! Grayson lake is beautiful! Carter Caves State Park is another 20 mins or so from Grayson in Olive Hill, Kentucky. I have thought for years that the reason Sasquatch are covered in hair is because it stays 50ºF all year round inside caves and that's why they can see in the dark!! They adapted over the years! These cave systems go for hundreds of miles so what better way to stay undetected!! ✌🐢

Darn, I have 40 years law enforcement, extensive swat, repelling and investigations. I’m retired now and hunt spending a lot of time in the woods ,wilderness . She sounds pretty convincing with all that detail. We will never know the volition ,it will always be a mystery? But it sure made me think . I will certainly store that information away for a rainy day. I live in the south east and would never want to go through what she did! The bones ,clothing ,shoes and backpack, should of been collected and matched against missing persons. That could possibly of solved a lot of mysterious missing person cases. And possibly helped some families clear themselves (in missing children cases) and help all families potentially victims to missing family members find peace. Prayers go out to that young lady and her crew, no matter what they came upon. It sure seems that something happened to them .

Sometimes I hear the same ones a couple of times, but it's like a good book and you might read it a couple of times. But I like 'em when they are fresh because I can smell the stankin' thangs and the hair stands up on my arms and the spirits that live in this old house are calm, they don't bother me if I am reacting to something else. I live on Battlefield Ave in Atlanta. Sherman bombed this neighborhood. There was a tense standoff here. McPherson died three blocks from here at Whitehall. It was a legendary battle and a lot of people died. This house has been here since 1928. There's always something here with me and I ain't talking about my cats.

I Have never felt frightened. Yeah, I have been scared, but I have never felt threatened. They just want me to know they are here. There have been many physical manifestations. One speaks. A soft female voice. One blinks lights. I have been touched many times. Once something pulled on my shirt sleeve, I turned, expecting to see one of my cats on the arm of my chair, and there they were, on the other side of the room, fast asleep on the couch. When I moved in, the house had been vacant for many years. There were leaks and wiring problems. Some of the light fixtures didn't work. On the first night here as I was preparing to crash on the couch, I noticed the fixture over my head (an old strip of LED lights with 4 pods) suddenly started to glow...only one of the bulbs was pointed towards me. I got up from the couch and noticed that the other 3 bulbs weren't glowing. I flipped the wall switch off and on several times and the blub still glowed faintly. The hair on my arms and legs felt like they were going to crawl up my spine. I went to the couch and stared at the bulb. Suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened the front door and no one was there. I stepped out to the patio door and realized it was locked. The doorbell is on the patio.... you can't ring it from outside. This was my first night... many more to come

It makes the most sense in explaining why bigfoot in all it's various forms is so hard to find and has a Vietcong like ability to vanish almost at will. They use the subteranean caves and tunnels for shelter and concealment. The temperature is pretty constant and they're protected from the elements plus there's plenty of water down there. I would imagine they know the cave systems better than we do to where they can pop up at night to go hunting and use underground passages to cut off their prey. Even become day time opportunist when hungry enough. They have the strength and intelligence to conceal openings to the surface with trees and boulders. What a fascinating story. That woman was fortunate to survive.

Thank you, Cam. I believe her. She definitely disappeared from her team and they all were very afraid of the sounds that they heard.

That was absolutely amazing! I found this very credible. Either way, like you say, a great story. I’m with you regarding cave exploration, there’s no way I’d ever go into places like some do. I’m terrified of getting trapped in a passage or lost.
