How can a woman get pregnant with endometriosis?
Frequently, women with endometriosis do get pregnant. They may not even know they have the disease, or they may have painful menstrual cycles and never been diagnosed. Other women are diagnosed and are still able to get pregnant. However, endometriosis is the number one cause of infertility. Certainly, if you're having trouble getting pregnant, you should be evaluated for endometriosis. There's good literature out there that endometriosis excision, or moving the endometriosis lesions, can improve your fertility outcome.
