I know a lot of people feel the same as you do but i just wanted to posit that there are a few parallels between Sanguinius's story and the story of Jesus. Both were the son of a "God or God like being", both knew about their own death long before it happened but didn't do anything to change it. They both willingly sacrificed themselves for mankind. Jesus's story ended with the promise that after his great sacrifice, he would one day return to the earth so it's not beyond the realm of reason to bring hawkboi back even after a sacrifice of such magnitude. G-dubs can just bring him back and proclaim "Hawkboi=Spehse Jesus. Praise be to da Emprah! He has returned! Okay..'Nuff said. Buy the model now, please!" Lol! It just depends on whether or not the potential salt from the players who wont buy the model in one hand outweighs the promise of cash in the other hand from players who want it or dont want it but will still buy it. It's been awhile now though and we still only have big papa smurf and two demon primarchs which they released back to back pretty quickly back then.. After Morty, nothing for almost a year so maybe GW gave up on the idea of bringing anymore back at all.
I admit that I was very salty about this topic. Only great video from noble and glorious Lord inquisitor Remleiz can convince me that this topic makes sense and is worth examining. Thanks a lot.

I mean Megaris space marines to all the chapters.
There is a very easy and very plausible way how Sanguinius could come back. We know that the entire the chaos gods rule the warp stuff is bs. They are the dominant forces because people believe them to be the dominant forces and because they have many worshippers in realspace. There are however entities linked to other emotions and even eudaemonic spirits that represent good emotions as can be seen in the Black Legion books. Within these very same books it is said that on the worlds touched by the Astronomicon, "the radiant worlds" the emperors angels gather and wage war against the daemons. Sanguinius has an annual day of remembrance and due to his wings is worshipped as an angel and/or saint. It is very likely that Sanguinius has become a Eudaemonic prince of the emperor in the warp due to the Imperium becoming a religious empire and is leading the eudaemons on the radiant worlds. EDIT: The whole Dante speaks to Sanguinius supports what I wrote up there. (In my opinion) Sanguinius basically suggesting that he has the power to save Dantes life or take it as he sees fit underlines that he is a being similar to a Daemon Prince now and can perform quite powerful actions.
The Chaos Gods are top dog Remember, the Changeling fooled Macharius' Army into thinking he was Macharius! If Chaos wanted to win, they could have done so during the Medieval Age of Humanity or before
@@christiandauz3742 No. If you read the horus heresy books it is very clear in the way the daemons approach the primarchs that they are extremely weak. They are literally begging them to cooperate with them. If Chaos had been anywhere near it's current power during the Horus Heresy the Imperium would be gone now. What made Chaos strong is the fact that through the Horus Heresy the belief of the ruinous powers being the supreme rulers of the warp has spread. The fact that some people even pray to these powers only makes them stronger. If Chaos would have had the opportunity to install a galaxy wide regime in which they are worshipped they would have done so. The fact is they are too weak to do it. GW is clearly setting up the warp to be more than it currently is. There is more and more talk of new gods and unaligned daemons appearing and pursuing their own agendas. The warp literally embodies emotion and thought but supposedly those 4 entities are all there is to emotions and thoughts? It is supposed to be Chaos but then there is a very strong hierarchical order within the daemon legions centered around specific numbers? The entire "4 Rulers of the warp" idea is nonsense and it is clearly communicated that way in every recent piece of fiction that includes some form of discussion about the specifics of the warp.

Think of it like that: The emperor has more value to his imperium when he is 99% dead, than being alive and moving. Some great people will only retain their value and importance, as long as they are dead martyrs. This is where their power truly comes from. The revival of someone loved and revered as Sanginius would complicate things more than simplifying them.
Sanguinius sacrificed himself. He wasn't straight up defeated by Horus. It had to happen that way and Sangy knew it. Juiced up by Chaos doesn't matter, because it means giving something up - on a straight fight, Horus was no match for Sanguinius.
@@ysidro33 🙄 well the big E will clap anyone's cheeks. No sensible person would put anyone against the big E with maybe the exception of the Shadow King.
How awkward would that be Sanguinius going into the Imperial palace and getting lost immediately because of it's largeness and takes a few days to find the throneroom and shouting "heyyy, Dad I'm alive!"
I've always thought that the Black Rage and the Soul of Sanguinius are interconnected, and that is one of the easiest solutions to the problem of resurrecting him.
It's easy enough to say the reason for the black rage and red thirst is that all the BA are feeling what the piece of sanguinius on the spirit is feeling and is only brought out by it calling out to his sons in hope of rescue
I am interested in seeing what would the reaction of Sanguinius, The Lion and Lehman Russ if they all returned around the same time to see what has befallen the Imperium in their absence. Would they allow the Lords of Terra to continue their rule over Humanity? How would Guilliman handle his Brothers' return? Would they simply be content to act as an extension of the Military might of the Imperium? Or would they wish to change the leadership of Terra and decide to resurrect the Legions as the best way to defeat the enemies of Mankind? There is no doubt that the Lion would rebuild his First legion and lead the fight against the Traitor Legions. But would Sanguinius do the same? Russ would have his Legion intact, but would he force the Mechanicum to find a cure for their curse and give him the chance to rebuild his Legion and join the Lion against the Traitors? In the end, it may be the Emperor who will have the key to resurrect his Primarchs and their Legions.
I think if they see the emperor and what he has to go through daily they might just do EVERYTHING in their power to heal him, especially if they were able to ressurrect.
@@snakehead214 Dante has had a vision for a long time about a golden warrior defending the Emperor against something. Dante believes that Golden Warrior to be him and that's one of the main reason why he's still living.
Cool theory Remleiz :D Just wondering whose that 2nd Primarch that Leman Russ was not able to beat. Maybe it was the Primarch from the 2nd or 11th Legion. Well every bit of lore would help. Also wonder how desperate Imperium would be so They would try to resurrect Sanguinius. Probably the situation would be very dire. Great video, can't wait to see more of Your work!
but all they have to do is point him in the direction of most demons/least number of innocents ( given the imperium's standards, that shouldn't be hard).
I think there is another. The dark rage. I suspect this is the soul of Sanguinius possessing his "sons". His death was so traumatic that whenever he returns to flesh he simply relives that moment. So if I am right it could be possible to extract the primarch from his own descendant legions. All you would need is a vessel capable of holding him in full and transfering him into it upon a sufficient number of those succumbing to the rage being gathered.
Late reply, but I think I know of a particularly good body to use for this scenario. It's obscure lore, but the Emperor created a sort of proto-Primarch simply referred to as The Angel. It's currently in a stasis sarcophagus because it was a naughty child that exterminatused an entire planet... full of harmless civilians... by hand... completely by itself... to defeat Chaos! The Emperor never got the chance to liquidate it, but it appears to be every bit as powerful as a Daemon Primarch, fully capable of annihilating whole cities and massive armies in scant seconds. Naturally, it has Psyker powers and a gorgeous set of wings. Sanguinius would be right at home after The Angel's original soul is shunted aside.
I stopped playing 40k years ago and don't have the time. But yet, I enjoy the lore. Thank you for the videos you do, I am always entertained. Look forward to more.
Great video man...finished jaghatai book...can there be ashard that holds a piece of sanginius soul..i ask because there was a piece magnus that was left over on his dead planet...jaghatai and magnus had a conversation like he was really there.
From a lore perspective its kinda hard Sanguinius will be back. I admit the idea of a mithical quest in the horus battle barge to recover his the crystalized soul is fascinating. From a model/business perspective I always wandered why FW is still missing the Sanguinius model for 30k... Maybe this means something... Or not who knows...
It would be really cool if GW revealed that The Sanguanoir was part of Sanguinious who just formed a host. It would also make sense since he just appears out of nowhere when the. Blood Angles need him the most claps cheeks then disappears so like Sanguinois appears to help his chapter but doesnt have the strength to fully return. Sorry if I butchered his name to much
If they do bring him back, I hope it’s through reincarnation rather than direct resurrection. Like perhaps his spirit manifests itself in Dante or the Sanguinor.
He came to terra instead of lion el Jonson because he saw himself dying there but still went to go sacrifice himself. Makes his badassery for nothing if GW revive him.
@@christiandauz3742 Horus is the only Primarch who shouldn't return. He had his soul destroyed by the Emperor the rest still have their souls. I play blood angels myself and hope if GW bring him back, have a great lore story of how and why.
I like his character and the color scheme of the blood angels alot better than blue and robot gil. But he might have just cut the eldar down the moment he saw them. It is known that there was a precursor to the primarchs, called the angel. That's why, at 14:15 I don't think this is Sanguinius, but in fact, The Angel. The key differences are that, first, Sanguinius's face doesn't look like that, he never painted his face. Second, he has long strait hair, while the artwork has shorter somewhat curly hair. Thirdly, Sanguinus's wings were bright white, not black and red. Fourth, The Angel has a flaming sword, Sanguinius does not. The spear is also different. The spear of sanguinus has a tear-shaped point, while the spear the artwork is showing has a trident. Sanguinius's armor also doesn't have birds for shoulder paldrons. The red circles on the artwork also don't have the same pattern as Sanguinius's armor. And the big one is that Sanguinus never fought a famous demon prince, while The Angel did. So that demon the artwork is standing on is the arch rival of The angel.
4:40 - Bad idea (he's a psychopath, even by Chaos Space Marine standards) he tried that and they weren't as good as the originals, as Abbadon the Armless was able to kill the clone of his Primarch. | 12:50 - (monotone) All hail Big Papa Ultrasmurf.

If his soul is powerful enough to pop up there in a Haha fuck you kind of fasion, then maybe it could return to the body. What if sangunius is a immortal like vulcan, but his soul got seperated due to the warp energies on the Vengeful Spirit? I'm one of the biggest hawkboi fans out there, but having him come back would somehow cheapen Him, and His sacrifice.
We love you papa Sang
Depends how many cheeks he claps on his return.

fabuluos bobby
The Chaos Gods are top dog
Remember, the Changeling fooled Macharius' Army into thinking he was Macharius!

*gasp!* Aside from this being my fave Primarch, i hear you've changed your BG music, yasssss! :D
Bring the Angel back!!Too many traitor primarch's and greater deamons.Roboute needs help!!
And the Lion

2:10 I love this picture, it really highlights how much of a goober Guilliman is.
If ever there was a Primarch worthy of ressurection, itd be Sanguinius.
I belive all this is going to be Horus vs. Hawk boy 2.0 with Abbadon vs. Dante in front of the imperial palace. What then happens, no one knows.

I feel that even if we did resurrect Sanguinius he would be mad and blood crazed.
but all they have to do is point him in the direction of most demons/least number of innocents ( given the imperium's standards, that shouldn't be hard).
Well worth the wait my man ! Great video bro!

From a lore perspective its kinda hard Sanguinius will be back. I admit the idea of a mithical quest in the horus battle barge to recover his the crystalized soul is fascinating.
Hawk boy is not just dead, he's ULTRA dead. Ferrus Manus has a better chance of coming back.
