Vivian and Simon on the grandest tour. Their motto for this journey is clearly just Amour ! Chenonceau as backdrop serves their purpose well. The story of this castle is interesting to tell. They wander in the footsteps of sovereign queens of old. Whose lives meant often hardship, but sparkles now like gold. Though Vivian had no wooing, no courtier on his knees. Simon clearly conquers her heart with certain ease. 👩🏼❤️👨🏻
Well it’s official… you have made my day! Thank you!!! Grinning from ear to ear and can’t wait to show Simon! Merci beaucoup pour la poésie! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🏰🏰🏰🏰💖💖
Made my Sunday - better than chocolate eggs! At the age of 14 I first read about the fascinating Diane de Poitiers - beautiful vlog. Thank you for sharing from Australia.
I look forward to your video's because I look forward to you and Simon. Handsome English Gentleman and his gorgeous loving wife. You are my favorite Chateau couple. You respect each other and the love shines through. I enjoyed the Chateau tour. TY
Hi Vivienne and Simon, "wow" no words, this place was so stunning, from the architecture to the garden, and the parks, just magnificent. What a beautiful day out for two. Thank you so much for bringing us with you, it was lovely to get away. Love from N.Y.
Hope you do not mind my saying this, but one thing I love most about both of you is that you are so very down to earth and "real" that means so much to me. You could be different am sure, and have a right to be that way, but you are not that type of people, I can see this. I truly love this so much! I noticed it with your sister and your daughter Dr Isabella. Thank you for being who you truly are, loving people! Could not help but see this in you, and it just does mean so much to come and enjoy the time with you on your vlogs. This just is something in people, a trait I like the most. It shines through! (That would be such fun if you could ever have such a chance to buy this Chateau too, and own it, what fun this would be, * but way to much work most likely as it is an undertaken, you would need help*) I realize under the circumstances it is not for sale and probably never would be, but that would be so very exciting in many ways though if it were a possibility! But guess ne Chateau at a time is probably enough for anyone? lol But the two of you know how to make things happen it does happen and can. We do need to always believe in miracles they say, correct, as that is how things do happen to many people by the faith they carry.
I enjoy your vlogs for many reasons. You and Simon get a lot done and always with your own hard work and lovely style. You meet with other chateau owners, have adventures and shop together. Most of all you are a charming couple.
I just love the way the two of you look at each other when you speak to each other. That is an awesome love. Thank you for the chateau. It is beautiful. 😍😍
Aha, what a glorious Easter surprise to enjoy this morning! 🌺🌻🌷🌸Experiencing magnificent beauty and your love for each other just is everything we need to feed our souls! Sending you both blessings from the Beach in New Jersey.❤️🇫🇷❤️🇺🇸❤️
I almost didn't want to watch because my husband and I were supposed to be on our trip there and our itinerary included Chenonceau but due to the strikes & protests we postponed it indefinitely. 😢 I'm really glad I watched it though and I hope to get there soon! 😊 Cheers to the French people. I'm not upset they are speaking out...just disappointed we have to wait.
Hi Dana, I do understand your concern for travel, but so please reassure your husband that it’s actually very safe here, despite what the news makes it look like, and even more so outside of Paris. I do hope you can make it over soon! Meanwhile, we are very happy you are joining us! 🥰🏰💖
@Chateau Love We booked just a few days ago for travel next month! I'm so excited!! We were worried we wouldn't be able to get around if transportation was on strike but we'll take our chances and if we get stuck in Paris, well how bad can that be?! 😉
I cannot thank you enough for taking us on this tour this morning! I would dearly love to visit the Loire Valley, but this will definitely do for now. Magnificent! ♥️
It is my pleasure and we are so happy you are joining us. I will definitely check out your channel! Sharing your story with others will bring you great joy and healing (I speak from experience). xxx🏰💖
Spent a lovely Sunday in Chenonceau in January. So beautiful. Loved the little chapel. All the Xmas decorations were still there and it was magnificent. Thanks for bringing back some happy memories.
There’s now another destination on my bucket list of French places to visit! It was so beautifully presented by you both! I had a laugh when Simon couldn’t resist touching all the copper in the kitchen! Thanks for showing this stunning & romantic chateau. Happy Easter!
Bonjour Vivienne and Simon! This is so exciting to be able to share this trip with you both! I just love anything Medici. To think I could ever have an opportunity to see such a very special and yes, fairytale Castle like this, It is totally unbelievable. I know in person it is impossible, for me and my husband, anyway, So, am thankful you have set this aside for us to journey along. What a nice way to spend a Sunday!
Wow!! That was absolutely spectacular! When you and Simon went into the kitchens I was mesmerized. All that beautiful copper and antique and ancient cookware. The tapestries were stunning. Imagine the work and time it took to make just one of them. And the gardens were simply breathtaking. Thank you both so much for treating us to a wonderful tour of that stunning Chateau. 😍😍
LOVE LOVE LOVE! CHENONCEAU is one of my favorite LOIRE Chateaux. The scale, incredible architecture, the history and amazing gardens, which even just awakening to Spring are magnificent, there is beauty for all the senses. Even the pigeons on the windowsill were not immune to the magic of Chenonceau. Thank you Vivienne and Simon for being part of my morning coffee with this magnificent Chateau tour! A bientot!
What a treasure you have gifted us in showing us Chenonceau! It is always included in the photos of the prominent chateaux of the the Loire Valley. Thank you so much for taking us faraway admirers INSIDE and telling us such interesting history. Well done and you two are soo enjoyable together! Patricia

Thank you for sharing this tour. About 20 years ago my husband and I visited this chateau. Gorgeous! We loved driving around the Loire Valley countryside. This is a beautiful area of France.

I can’t believe my luck! Finding myself unable to go to sleep despite the late hour (or should I say very early morning over here) I reached for my ipad to peruse until my eyes eventually got heavy.😅 And what an exciting surprise I got seeing your notification upon opening Vivienne. You and Simon took us on a delightful tour of this stunning Chateau and grounds as only you can do. It was gorgeous both inside and out, thank you for sharing. I did love how the stables were repurposed as cafe seating too, because I feel so sad when these horse boxes (?) get taken out from some of the Chateaus that have old stables. I wish you all a very happy Easter full of blessings. 🙏🏻✝️🐣🐰🏰❤️

DIVINE, every inch. I remember being there and wondering if I could possibly remember how glorious the countryside, Chateau, moat, ceilings, parterre gardens, tapestries are. Hi Vivian & Simon, Loved the tour of Chateau CHENONCEAU. What Simon called he "Suggestion Box" is most likely for salt, an expensive item even for royalty back then. The gardens must be wonderful to see during summer in all their splendor. Thank you for sharing. Mark & Scott
Oh wow I love it what a stunning place seems huge deff wouldn’t like to clean it esp all those tiny panes of glass but would love to see it thank you for sharing ❤❤
Thanks for the tour! I always appreciate the way you film your tours, with much information and great attention to details. I also appreciate how the canopy beds are not overdone with artwork above the bed. I can appreciate the simplicity of the fabric alone. The gardens are exquisite even at this time of year.
What a beautiful chateau. It seems to me that the charm of this place is it's simplicity. The rooms appear minimalistic with what you need but not lots of overwhelming textiles or colours that fight for your attention. Lots of repetitive elements both inside and in the garden. Absolutely gorgeous. Thankyou for showing us this chateau . ❤ from NZ.
One of my favorite Chateaus, we used to live down the street and this was our walk for the day. Its gorgeous from the other side of the river, where you can picnic and see it in full from the other side. I love the ladies of Chenonceau
Hi guys, hello lovely Vivienne darling! Looking stunning as ever. I love the tapestries and the little table is beautiful . Loved looking around the chateau it’s amazing. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Sending you both love lisa xxx ❤😘👍
Wonderful to see Chenonceau. On my one and, sadly, only visit to France, I visited this incredible chateau. I can still smell the lavender from the gardens there. ❤
I was hoping you would take me into the chapel. I was lucky enough to visit many years ago. When I went to the chapel, the noise of buzzing like a swarm of bees was over whelming! No one else could hear them. I had to remove myself. I believe there is a portal or some physic energy in the chapel. The castle definitely has a very feminine feel to it. I bought and still have a tapestry cushion depicting the castle in the guest shop. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for taking me back twenty years to my first visit, and seeing how beautifully the Chateau is being taken care of today, certainly a must visit for all. Your vlog was marvellous. Great job. Marianne, Chicago. Happy Easter.
The two of you are most gracious to be with on your adventures. Your presentation is superb and very informative. Thank you for taking your time to share your life adventures with us.❤
Vivianne, what an amazing Chateau. I think it's a perfect place for a getaway women's weekend!😄 Although we would miss handsome Simon and his finger prints❤ What an amazingly beautiful place. Thank you for sharing this with us!❤
This brings back memories of being with my dear Father in law, who took us there and explained all the History as he was very knowledgeable on French history. We sat in the gardens (in the summer) while he told us all about the mistress and the Queens.
Simon keeps touching because he wants to have a feeling of what it was like being there also some how every time I think about you guys, delicious cheese comes to my mine.
Beautiful visit. Thank you. I remember the interlocking initials, was looking for them on the fireplaces. A beautiful, very famous spot. Didn't know about the recent history, and the demarcation line... very interesting. Merci !
Ahahahaha the Curtis connection! Good perspective you two; often vlogs don't show the lead up to the castle showing the grounds which are expansive in size and really dwarf the chateau. Beautiful even without flowers. OMG a the interior you captured. Thank you for this tour complete with wooing pidgeons!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! You two are two of my faves, xo
Absolutely beautiful ❤ I love the beautiful flower arrangements in the rooms, so well done. And Simon, I didn’t know you where a man who had to touch everything 😂, I was waiting for Vivienne to smack your hand any minute 😉 Thank you so much for bringing us along with you. This gives us the opportunity to see all these magnificent places that we might not be able to travel to ourselves ❤
Cyd in the USA. I had to laugh when you told your husband to "stop touching things" :-) I had been telling him that all through the chateau. I know his enthusiasm got the best of him. When we visited this chateau there were attendants everywhere who reminded visitors "please do not touch" in several languages. Thank you so much for this reminder of our day at Chateau Chenonceau.
What a beautiful tour you took us on. I truly love when you include historical facts. I'm off to the library to find some books to dream on. Thank you for yet another introduction into French history. You both are so sweet.

Beautiful even without flowers. OMG a the interior you captured. Thank you for this tour complete with wooing pidgeons!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! You two are two of my faves, xo
It was our pleasure, MaryJane! Big hugs! 🏰💖
I thought the same about Curtis.
Absolutely beautiful ❤
I love the beautiful flower arrangements in the rooms, so well done.
And Simon, I didn’t know you where a man who had to touch everything 😂, I was waiting for Vivienne to smack your hand any minute 😉
Thank you so much for bringing us along with you. This gives us the opportunity to see all these magnificent places that we might not be able to travel to ourselves ❤
🥰🏰💖
Cyd in the USA. I had to laugh when you told your husband to "stop touching things" :-) I had been telling him that all through the chateau. I know his enthusiasm got the best of him. When we visited this chateau there were attendants everywhere who reminded visitors "please do not touch" in several languages. Thank you so much for this reminder of our day at Chateau Chenonceau.
😂😂So happy you were able to join us! Simon forgets that not all chateaux belong to our mates and he can’t just make himself comfortable! 😁😁🏰💖
Wonderful tour and I really enjoy you sharing the history with us.
What a beautiful tour you took us on. I truly love when you include historical facts. I'm off to the library to find some books to dream on. Thank you for yet another introduction into French history. You both are so sweet.
