If I were you, I would tere down the inner Walls and check the insolation and install plasterboard on the walls. If possible I would integrerat the electricity inside the Wall before I putt up New Wall paper. You can find videos om you tube, how to this.
You should by a lot of shelves and cabinets (on IKEA maybe)because you can never have too much storage.
