Hi Danny, after watching this video I subscribed to your channel, I have lived abroad for the last 25 years and this reminded me of a pond I used to fish where the tench were up to 8 pounds, my best was 7 pounds and a few ounces . The footage of this video is awesome you really capture the whole environment you fished in. Well done mate 😀
Aww cheers matey I love fishing here as its reminds me of sessions as a kid where places had that feeling to them, the sounds, wildlife, lilies, birds and that's why I make no excuses about fishing here regular on the vlog. Tight lines matey and hope you enjoy the content
Nice to see someone fishing like a pro, and knows there gear and feeding; with the pot. Remember I use to use a kinder pot, before they even come on the market: and even the best poles weighed a ton. Arm always hurting by end of the day.
Nice video again Danny, always look forward to the next one. Cracking venue looks absolutely mint. Love Robins as well once had one land on my head when cutting up some wood
Wonderful Danny, Glad you made it home, It's nice to see a simple and straightforward approach, Just goes to show you don't need all that gear out on the bank, You got to make life easy for yourself and enjoyable, If you put a bit of thought into how you gonna fish and stick with it, Works every time, People are overcomplicating things, Many Thanks Richie.
Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.
One night years ago I fished a local clay quarry with a friend. We caught 250 or more Tench that night average around five biggest around eight, there were tens of those. Still the best Tench session I ever had. Truly non stop for hours. The place used to produce huge carp too. A club then got the rights to the place. They destroyed it, stocked thousands of small carp, now you don't even catch many Tench there. Plus almost all of the carp have ripped up mouths now. Sigh.
Watched lots of other finishing videos recently ta fishing, winning ways etc. And this video is first I have watched from you. It won't be the last, brilliant video well done
Great video Danny as usual. Location little gem, quality tench. Nice too see you fishing on the pole, the best versatile angler on here 👍🏻👌🏻Keep on posting cheers buddy
Great session Danny stunning location, not been able to get out myself after tench myself due to work, but looking forward to the next day off I will be out early doors, keep up the great content
Looks a gorgeous place to fish for my favourite coarse species ever. The good ol Tinker. Caught many from the local park lakes in Liverpool (Newsham Park, Walton Hall Park and a small lake known as the "Ducky") back in the day. Also good size tench from a fishery in North Yorkshire and just started hitting them at a fishery where i live nowdays near Dunstable/Luton. Great fighting fish. I never "Pole fish" though, always good ol rod n reel for me.
I fished the same park lakes myself mate. You wouldn't recognise them now in a fishing sense. Not a tench to be found. Just carp that were stocked illegally in the late 80s which has destroyed the parks.
After trading with $500, it was observed that the profit was almost consistent, which led to the conclusion that crypto investors who trade with TDL platform can earn at least $7000 after 1 week . There is a way to earn more money as profit.
Caught a huge amount of tench and super fish they are. I didn't see the float on the take. Normally the float will lift and lie on the top before sliding away but that was with the weight ;light) right down by the bait. Fish pocks up bait and float lays down, fish swims away and float slides under.
nice swim...id have much rather seen you fish a 3bb waggler underarm cast... it feels more real with rod and line..more relaxing with rod in rests coffe in hand like, and when the float is tight on the line rattling as you bring fish to surface etc.... i know the pole is more efferctive... but the small waggler is magic... like being a kid again perhaps... i'll be out again soon.. last year was dead in may for us they were spawning... waiting for mid june like the old days... .. ..
Unreal video Danny I’m sure ur dad is looking down and proud of u passing on ur knowledge. I’m gonna hopefully replicate ur skill but I’ll have to see 😂
A great season and you told us where it was and gave the fishing details, something that I've never seen before, sure a lot of people will go there. I know that you tried to show us the float but not successfully I'm afraid, I definitely couldn't see it. In future you need to use a float with a more visible top. This was a video to share with us and not a private fishing season so you should consider your viewers rather than the perfect tackle presentation.
I need someone’s help I went fishing tonight and really struggled to cast further out. I could only get it a couple metres out. When I made it heavier to cast further the float was just sinking? Pleaaaase advise thank you
You need a more boyant float that can take more weight on the line in order to cast it further and not sink it when it gets to where it's going. Just ask in your local tackle shop and they'll help 👍
I mean it is heavier in the sense that it takes more weights (shot) in order to sink it to just showing the tip. If I'm honest I'm not sure what weight you'd look for however they say on the side of them how many weights they take to sink them
hi ..i just subscribed and thought how nice to watch a fishing vid with no silly music ..then i watched this one next and ..oops.. ..please keep the wildlife noises ..much better ...sorry my opinion..

Lovely video and water. Surprised no one else was fishing it on a Sunday morning.

@@pleasantville4529 That is such a damn shame to hear. I used love Newsham Park lake and the "Ducky" (Off Larkhill) :(

Tinca*. The Latin name is Tinca tinca.
What a beautiful place to fish
can you please tell details about this pool ? what kind of water intake it has this pool ? cause i want to build one same like this one?
Nice place lovely fish too 👍
Try Scopex hooker pellet and see if you get a better stamp of tench. Thanks I enjoyed this session.
Caught a huge amount of tench and super fish they are. I didn't see the float on the take. Normally the float will lift and lie on the top before sliding away but that was with the weight ;light) right down by the bait. Fish pocks up bait and float lays down, fish swims away and float slides under.
Nice session danny lad can't beat a tench mate the ones I get go from 2lb up to 6 or 7 and they don't half go some 🎣👊👍👏👏
Another top video cheers matey some bostin fish aswell 👍

Great video should keep pole tip down though when playing fish
thanks again
Hi Danny, what’s the name of this water and what club are you in ?
Grimsditch lymm anglers card
Crazy that red maggots are still allowed.
In belgium its banned for yeaaars now.
Amazing place to fish!
Madness I'd be lost, guessing it's to do.with what makes them red, the dye?
@@DannysAnglingBlog they said the red dye is poison for fish, so it got illegal now in belgium
Mr Robin. Always there without fail after your bait .
@@cake2427 when you say boyant? You mean heavier yeh? What weight would you reccomend for coarse fishing? 10g?
I mean it is heavier in the sense that it takes more weights (shot) in order to sink it to just showing the tip. If I'm honest I'm not sure what weight you'd look for however they say on the side of them how many weights they take to sink them
Make sure your reel is loaded with line right up to the lip of the spool..... this is essential for effortless casting.
Try a fishing rod takes a bit more skill but so much more fun
hi ..i just subscribed and thought how nice to watch a fishing vid with no silly music ..then i watched this one next and ..oops.. ..please keep the wildlife noises ..much better ...sorry my opinion..
