God, "The Page"... imagine The Page animated. Except you don't need to, because Oda did it for you, portraying that scene beautifully. Outstanding chapter, with equally outstanding analysis!
i like how kuma running isn't on the middle of the page, going forward or back. idk just makes it more appealing and i think conveys better than kuma never stopped moving. Also vegapunk kneeling and trembling as kuma "dies" was just beautiful
"The page" truly is something special and your analysis gave me some new appreciation of it. The light motif that's been illuminated onto Kuma within his church now shining on all of those that were touched by his life is just beautiful Also props for the use of Umineko music. There's a ton of amazing tracks to use from the VN but using "Hope" to depict Kuma's last moments of life is appreciated
There's like a dozen Umineko songs in my head that I'm just waiting to use, as soon as there's a scene that matches the specific emotion. Oda can definitely write a scene that justifies ALIVE.
I love how you analyze the One Piece manga paneling and visual storytelling since not many people do manga analysis in general. I find it very interesting. Also, I'm hoping that one day you'll analyze Kuma separating the Straw Hats at Sabody or other previous chapters or arcs like that. I find it very itneresting how Oda's art and paneling has evolved.

One thing worth considering about the page: The symbolism of how Oda draws the ground. When Kuma is born, there's a solid, wooden floor. He becames a slave, now it's grass. Then, a somewhat broken floor, after he loses Ginny it's a completed destroyed ground. When he's searching for bonney's cure, there's no ground at all. Kuma has no floor under his fit. When he learns that there's a cure, he can run across some grass again...
This is a superb video. Your analysis of the panels, and the manga as a whole is deeply appreciated. I'm glad you were able to break down all the techniques used in the panelling, it makes me even more impressed with One Piece, considering all else that goes into it

On The Page I like the touch of Kuma almost falling down after he lost Ginny and then running tall and perfect form after finding Bonney.
