BRMC has to be the most significant rock n roll band from the US of the last 20 years. Their vision and sound has such integrity. Their latest, Wrong Creatures, is the poster child for slow-burn, ass kicking music. Many thanks to Peter, Robert and Leah for making my music universe so engrossing and satisfying. Need a show in LA! Stat!
From The Call to BRMC -- father and son in a family of top-caliber songwriters, musicians and performers!!
Grandfather served ww2, dad served Vietnam, I served OEF, the song hits home...
What an Ode to his Daddy, R.I.P.
The days will start, and the days will end.
But, one day we won't .
Another one of my favorites
He looks like his Father! God Bless!
Daniel Whiteknact two sexiest men to ever live
This riff cuts like a knife.
Gordon Ramsay knife
This is so so so so so good! Love it.
I like that those extra sounds (keyboards?) over the beginning of the last verse, as well as those guitar notes over the video credits.
Love this song
What a great song keep music live!
I enjoyed this more than the live version I caught, or for that matter the published version. Awesome.
Okay how many of you knew this was a cover of a song by The Call? A seriously kick ass one at that.
Everyone. This is his son
Godlike!
Better than the album version
That sounded particularly good today...nice!
I think Peter moving from BJM and starting BRMC was the best thing he ever did don’t get me wrong I love BJM.
no mames esta vergas la rola, chingones los brmc
So good!!
yeah, this is good!
Yeah
NHL 14
Fucking brilliant!
Good luck to Leah late November with her brain operation, hope all goes well x
Wow
Let the day begin.
Poor Leah has to put up w/U2. Bless her heart. Right on though Wouldnt expect no less from KEXP. YOU GO TO PLAY THERE YOU BETTER BE TIGHT & ON POINT. You can be fuct up as long as you handle your shit. Theyre not your mother nor dad.
interesting guitar tuning...just figured it out.
open g sharp with top and second string tuned to g sharp, doesn't take a genius
A great guitar tuning, nice to use for your own songs!
Rocks4You97 I saw that there were several versions of this tuning ..which one did you get...I ended up with G# G# D# G# C F....Did you come up with the same one?
You got all right except the last one which is not a F but a D# in my opinion!
peace love deathmetal.
No war peace love and rock n roll stop war in Ucraina
Well, Robert Levon Been sure looks like his father, plays bass like his father but he definitely doesn't sound like his father. I mean this version isn't terrible but it's certainly not nearly as good as the incredible original by The Call. But yeah he's got this really weird psychedelic sounding tinny voice that definitely doesn't go with the song or the music. Somehow, it still kinda works a little bit, but it definitely falls short of the massive original.
Saquen las chamarras de cuero y las motos
Is this their song or simple minds
the bassman looks like that dude in Eraserhead
U2 sem delay
Lol Leah looks so bored
She's not bored she's listening. rare.
@@mglickman13 wow, excuse my ignorance 5 years ago ^ i’ve a much greater appreciation for the music now.
@@cocainecowboy1717 great
@@FM-to3gy ok
It's too bad he didn't inherit Michaels voice
Way to ruin a perfectly good tune
I say stupid things sometimes, too. Not THIS stupid, but kinda stupid. Good luck with life
I mean you're not wrong although somehow this version still works a little bit, but it definitely falls short of the massive original by his father's band, The Call. R.I.P. Michael Been. 🌹
