One word comes to mind, Home. Born in 1974 and have lived my entire life at Damon's Point Circle (9:00). Worked at Mary's in 1987 until 1991. There's nothing like growing up and living on the North River/New Inlet
I grew up on the river the little cottage across Damons Point was my mothers use to be called the little red cottage it floated up to union bridge caused by blizzard of 78' towed it back on its post and rebuild it. after my mom past awayin 90s i havent been back since. growing up on the river i know every inch of the river.
9:00-Damons Point,where an original railroad used to go thru.I have relatives up there,went up there every summer from'65 to mid '90's to see them I'm from Bucks Co.Pa.I still get up there but not as much.Love it all,Plymouth,Marshfield.Steven Tyler has a house on Summer St,near Rt.3A,in between the RT.3A bridge that heads towards Scituate(Rt.53)and the harbor district.The other direction on Summer St.heads towards Ferry St.and Humarock,where the bridge divides North and South River,south of there heads towards Ocean Bluff and Green Harbor.
i grew up here in the 70's. went swimming off the bridge st bridge. at the beginning of this video. went fishing at the other bridge on hwy rt 3A. miss those days. had a 17 foot boat and went out to the sand bar at the mouth of the river. this river was famous 200 years ago for building sailing ships. a real great new england town. i miss it.
