I love working on turbines, and there is constant work on these machines. Semi and annual maintenances, following compliances with regulations etc. Its a 6-2:30 job. Atleast 40 hours a week, atleast with my company
I just recently graduated from Airstreams Renewables and they didnt have this kind of cool stuff involved in their cirriculum, I mean yeah sure they taught me a bunch of this but I never actually got to go on a service call, this seems great
This is all well and good but what happens when you're done school. i understand you can get hired right away but how often do you really work? are you on salary or do you only get paid when you work? it's not like turbines are failing everyday, and how much do you get paid?
Hi I am interested in going into this industry. What would you suggest. Have you found a job? I have USAF electronics background, and a BA degree. I see all kinds of different info. Whats the real skinny on this job field.
I am extremely interested in this career path however cant seem to find any training courses similar to this one in the UK. Can anyone PM me with advice on how they started their Turbine Technician careers off. Thx all !!!
You need a electric charge from a circuit board to achieve a wind turbine electric physical evaluation. The physics show the numbers of a electric electron wire charge.
Lol why am i not suprised to see the bitter folk of Ocotillo here, get a life educate yourself.... i know new technology is hard to accept but you can't just go around slandering wind when you are hardly educated about it.
@@RonaldKlinger yes obviously you'll notice I never said these machines don't need oil many machines that have moving parts do need oils/greases ... but id love to see where your point comes in🤣

How’d you get into it
I went to Iowa Lakes cc wind program and now working for next era
Looks cool to learn 🤘🏽
For every 10 wind turbines there is one technician. Is that still up to date?
