I found a simple rule:
When other people play the piano, it doesn’t matter what the piano is, it always sounds splendid.
When I play the piano, it doesn’t matter what the piano is. It always sounds like a kindergarten kid playing
I can tell you one thing, enjoy your playing, even when it is simple and for you hard to do.
Try not to downscale yourself....
And take time to grow in music. Sometimes the ears want to hear more, but the fingers are not ready yet...
Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
Same here… but you’ll enjoy playing on a nice piano and try to improve! Enjoy your piano! My advice is to take it slowly perfect one measure at a time!
It's a beautiful way of phrasing it !

Thank you. So beautiful. I'm glad that i find this channel!
Comprei o meu FP 30X , estou muito satisfeito, essa jornada do aprendizado será longa , grande aquisição.
sooo beautiful
Magnifique..😄♥️
I have the FP-30 and I can tell the sound in the X is noticeably improved. I am debating whether to upgrade. The 2 x 1/4" , the enhanced MIDI, but most of all the richer sound of the piano are tempting me.
Does it have weighted keys? Sorry for asking, just wondering
@@polarbearsarecool1332 yeah pretty sure it does
@@nobi-xyz okay thanks!
so is it true that the FP-30 was US$1500 and the FP-30X is US$799?

compare to model previous fp-30 is difference in piano's sound noticeable?
It's a my personal opinion, obviously, but making a comparison listening to the amazing sound of this fp30x with Yamaha p125 or the newest dgx670,with my headphone, I find that the first has warmer and sound acoustic piano voices like the electric pianos one. Probably thanks to a better and powerful internal loudspeaker, surely, but also thanks to the marvelous and excellent Supernatural piano technology!!!! Wow..
these cheaper Rolands do sound warm but also a bit cheap/fake. When I close my eyes a Yamaha P115 or P145 just sounds more like a real piano imo
Can you please tell how do you record audio in this piano, I have this and I am confused
is this sound the default sound of FP30X? Because I have FP30X but the sound is not natural like a real piano like this. Should I change some settings oon app?
damn, i have the old fp30 and i want to upgrade for this now, it have a lot of new features!
I have Roland Fp30x but your piano's sounds is sharper. Did you change the key touch or did you choose a super light piano from setting?
Thanks.
You are welcome... Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
Thank you for the video.
Do you know if the Roland app gives the chords on screen while playing. I find this feature so helpful.
Hi and thanks for the question.
The App displays chords while playing with a style.
the screen then shows the played chord quite extensively.

Menno Beijer
do you know of a better keyboard action than the FP-30X? The Korg D1? The Yamaha CLP-785?
Hi Winterheat, thanks for your comments, it is always a way of trying, playing and listening. And also feeling and taste. Sometimes it is hard to make a choice. But take time to choose.

Can we have a playlist from the tracks played until minute 2:37 ? i really enjoyed and want to learn them! 🙂
Hi and thanks for your reaction. The music I play are improvisations on my own themes. there are only working titles of it. Do you want more information about this? Feel free to send an email to menno@artofmusic.nl Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
That’s awesome! Do you have a name or finished recording for the piece that starts at around 2:21 into the video? That one in particular struck me as very beautiful. Thanks!
Muzikale groet, Menno Beijer
does the key action become clicky after a while like the old model?
Hi Danny, thanks for your reaction, The keyboard of current Roland pianos is of excellent quality and I can say from experience that after playing intensively on my FP80 for 5 years, I still don't notice any difference from when it came out of the package. So I am a happy player.. Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
It is the same key action on FP30X as FP30 and FP10. FP80 had another Ivory Feel S type.
I’ve had mine for 8 months. If you’re still interested, mine is great. Very heavy use and a lot of hard playing, there’ll be one key that’ll click for a day or 2 every month or so, but it usually goes away.
Hp702 please.
It's hard to choose between Roland fp 30x and Korg c1air.
Hi Vernon, thanks for your reaction, my opinion is that you try out both instruments by yourself. Just to play on it, and feel what you feel. Listen to the tones, let your hands try the keyboards and then make a decision. Good luck! Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
👍
What can you say about the action?
Hi Sheila, thanks for your reaction. You just have to try the piano keyboard yourself. It's really personal. One likes a firm attack while the other just wants a light one. It really is a matter of feeling.
Musical greetings, Menno Beijer
I want to buy the white version from you. I believe you don't have it in store. When would it be possible to have it delivered in the Amsterdam area?
Hi Pedro, please contact the shop for this kind of questions. You can call, mail and also visit the shop in Wezep.

@@OostendorpMusici from iran , can I ?
1:19 who can help translate the words on the screen please? Does it say Mellow Piano or something?
Here is a translation for you...
" Behind the authentic feel and playing comfort is Roland's powerful Super-sound engine that picks up all the nuances of experienced pianists".
The lower notes are so deeper and warmer..
May I know the song name?
It is beautiful
Hi and thanks for your reaction, The music I play are improvisations and variations of my own themes. So there is only a work titel. Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
Amazing performance! Can you tell me the name of the songs played in this video?
Hi Englandson, thanks for your response, the pieces I play are their own themes that I improvise on. The works only have a working title.
There are themes that will soon be bundled on Spotify.
Musical greeting, Menno Beijer
So, that means that your sensibility reflects a beautiful mind. Your melodies are mandatory to this awful world and surely make it better. I do hope that your music will be spread and that you will get the benefits you deserve. Peace.
My doubt lies between purchasing the Casio PX-S1100 or the Roland FP-30X. I require a digital piano with an action similar to that of a real piano to train my pianist technique, but at the same time, I need one that I can use for recording in my DAW. To be honest, I like the design of the Casio PX-S1100, and I feel its sound is fuller and not as bright as the Roland's. However, I don't have the opportunity to play them live; I can only rely on UA-cam videos for comparison. Therefore, I would appreciate guidance on whether the Casio PX-S1100 meets my requirements or if I should consider the FP-30X, especially considering that in my country, the price difference is only $30, with the Roland FP-30X being the more expensive option.
The PHA4 action of the roland is definitely closer to an acoustic piano due to the weight and the key length. While the casio isn't bad, the action is light, and the pivot point is shorter than the roland making the keys harder when pressed on the back of the key. I would definitely prioritize the action than the sound since the sound can be changed or adjusted, but the action stays the same. Unless you need the lightest portable piano, then go for the roland
Its Very uncomfortable that additional devices are needed. Очень неудобно, что нужны дополнительные планшеты и т п
Herrliches Klavierspiel! Ist der Ton von den eingebauten Lautsprechern? Vielen Dank!
Menno Beijer
@@OostendorpMusic Herzlichen Dank für die Informationen.
Why doesn't mine sound this good. The sound is so quiet
Hi Michelle, thanks for the reaction. The FP-30X is a very nice sounding piano, and also quiet. If you want more body in the sound, try to connect it to powered monitors. Musical Greetings, Menno Beijer
Errata corrige: read warmer and round sound rather than....
What app is that?
Hello Amirre,
Thank you for your response.
I will answer the two questions you asked me.
First, the sounds I use in the demo are the factory sounds. What I do set, for example, is the touch sensitivity. I like it when I have to hit harder.
This makes a sound much rounder and warmer when played softly.
Second.. The apps I use in the demo are Piano Designer to completely set up the instrument to your taste. In addition, there is the Roland Piano App. This one is for playing around with other features and really a lot of fun. This app is the successor of the Piano Every Day app. The latter is still in my video. So only improved and above all free for IOS and Android.
Musical greetings
