If you added the value of the books in used condition for a buck each, you got closer! LOL - in all fairness it was not worth it UNLESS the 1944 D ended up being the rare 1944 D/S - then it would be spectacular. I've been wanting to try these types of buys as you know but I would likely avoid that seller. Thanks for the fun video brother!

#4:35 Stamps are worth "face value" and valid for postage, the nickel is worth 5¢ (MAYBE 7¢). #6:20 The ONLY 35% SILVER "Nickels"were during WW II (1942-1945), 1956 is WELL AFTER WW II (Copper-Nickel). #10:21 Add $3.50 for the folder (except for the "War Nickels" FACE VALUE. #13:00 EXCEPT for the 1911-S, ALL other coins = "$0.05 each." AND THAT IS THE REASON I DO NOT BUT "GRAB BAGS!!!!"
The Nickel 4:35 had a full date so I wholeheartedly disagree at the 5 cent valuation. Full Date common date circulated buffs sell for 50 to 75 cents all day. At what point at 6:20 did you get the impression that I thought there were silver nickels other than during war years? At 10:21 I value the folder empty at 0... it's old and used. If it were a nice one it's still used and I can buy those for $1.50. If you meant the coins inside, of course the war nickels at 75% of melt and the rest at Face (unless there is an unc 1950-D). At 13:00 I don't even value common wheats at 5... I can get them for 4 and if I buy 500 or more, 3 cents each. To sum it up, I don't normally buy grab bags either but they make for good youtube videos so it has double value for me in that regard. If I wasn't recording the opening, there's no way I would have bought it. Thanks for the comment my friend! --Seeker
Fun video, I think grab bags are great for someone that doesn't have a coin collection and is looking to start one, or you are just early in your collecting...but not that exciting for an experienced collector. I'll take that 1911-S off your hand if don't want it... LOL :)
That VINTAGE Jefferson Nickel folder has to be worth at least $50 on it's own! And he was probably being a generous dude throwing in that 1911-S for FREE! Enjoyed the unboxing though and I'm not gonna charge you for the sarcasm.

Great video seeker ...showing other what to becareful,,,,,,l of. I still say. you are the best channel out there ( coin roll hunting) u have amazing prizes, and very friendly person.
I don't think I could stomach that but it's cool that you can! It's a shame eBay has so many fakes these days cause it devalues the real ones on there. No one wants to pay to have a coin graded if it's not worth it and at the same time no one wants to buy ungraded coins. LOL, it's like roll the dice or stalemate...I loved watching though! Thank you!

Got to be a better way to this coin rolling I’m new at all this hobby but truly looking to find magic coin can someone acquire those 90 percent coins from us mint. Well, the 43 steel cents were originally coated in zinc, some people/companies may plate the coin in another lay of new zinc, this makes the coin much shinier and nicer if done correctly. Sometimes it is super obvious, and other times it is not, so you have to be careful with that, because rezincing them significantly lowers their value.

@@SilverSeeker www.thesprucecrafts.com states: The public does not usually reach the required volumes and hence will get retail pricing. Although the Greysheet can be a helpful reference when buying or selling coins, keep in mind that these prices are wholesale prices and often imply multiple coin sales with little or no customer service involved.
Regardless of what that website states, the fact of the matter is that almost every coin shop I go to and almost every dealer I deal with at coin shows generally sell at greysheet and buy back of that number. Also I just checked that website, it doesn't really seem like a website that I would go to for advice on buying and selling coins.
you're correct my friend I was pulling numbers off the top of my head as I was going thru the package. Can buy the nickel solo for just a few bucks on ebay tho.
Most eBay grab bags are 💩. But they’re also irresistible because you just want to see how good or bad they really are. They are the train wrecks of coin purchases. You just can’t look away or not hit the “Buy It Now” button.
Youll get about 15 dollars worth of stuff. I got 1 when I first started collecting. Crap load of pennies and a couple buffalo dimes and a 98 gem dime. Fake gold leaf in a micro tube. Total junk
At that point, I would contact the seller directly, away from eBay...If no resolution is resolved, leave a very grey review...Just to protect the unsuspecting collectors...

I imagine "The Morgan Mint" being run out of a small portable trailer directly behind The Franklin Mint circa late 1980s-1990s 😂
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Thanks for doing the video, very informative and makes me glad that I have always talked myself out of buying one of those grab bags LOL
Lol for sure my friend
This is better than a lot of grab bags (unfortunately). You should see Silverpicker's grab bag, which included, "Nicoles and Dimes".

Thanks for the viewing of the grab bag, I have never bought one, nice to have an idea what’s inside
I tend to stay away from ebay grab bags because of not knowing what im getting, still a entertaining video👏👏👏👏😀
That's part of the reason I enjoy it
When I got an ebay coin grab bag, it was worth it.
Very cool! I hope you do more of these videos!
Thanks I may!
I would suggest it! The first one I made is the most viewed video on my channel!
I’ve done two of these and they are very fun to do!

That was fun to watch but yes I think you were more than fair with your valuations. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.

Oh my Seeker, You for got the price of the books. They have to be worth at least $1.00 each LOL Thank For the video. :-)
Are the binders themselves worth anything?
Buck each for used ones I guess? New.ones go for like 4
The folders bring $3 empty , still not $50 😪
I was thinking a buck each but yea still not there

BTW there is much much worse 😬
The 1911 s even though in bad condition is worth more then $10 a g(4) is $54 so the coin is legit more like $30
I use greysheet for pricing so that's probably the difference there
Looks fun, but for sure not worth what those guys said it was.🔥🔥🔥
The greysheet is what coin shops will buy a coin for it is not what a coin shop will sell a coin for.
Not at any of the shops I use OR at Coin Shows. I generally get coins at sheet at Coin Shows and my local shops.

I don't think that I've seen any of these grab bags worth the value that they claim!

Funny that they would claim their coins are worth more than they are selling them for. That's just not smart business👍
All in how you grade them. If that 11s was one grade higher then they were spot on
Always interesting, seen worse
