Yoh this is too much information too important to valuable it's like 600pages of a book in less than 20 minutes I'm saving this it's going to help a lot in my financial awakening journey thanks mama
Based on my own personal experiences, I also think it’s important to get as much insurance as possible for protecting your income. So insurance for retrenchment, disability, critical illness and life insurance. This will allow you to keep your income and carry on investing if something goes terribly wrong and you will still get annual increases based on inflation (or whatever percentage you decide with your banker). Also, it can be setup so you receive a lump sum and a monthly payment so if you need to modify your house in the case of disability you won’t be using your daily expenses and investment money. For critical illnesses you also usually get a lump sum per illness so for example if you have a heart attack you get R100k (or whatever you set it up to be), then if you have a stroke the next year you get the same lump sum again, etc. I’ve never had any critical illness but I’ve had a few experiences where I’ve had to completely drain my emergency savings, any other saving and investments. It’s not a nice feeling to have to undo all that work you did. Insurance is a must for me now
Love your personality. Please make a special video about property investment and bonding the property.. What you were explaining towards the end of the video 📈📉📊
Good financial literacy advice. I am currently considering converting my net equity on my 2 properties and start a house development company. Any advice?
