    Great info for people. I would add/clarify and signifiy that all heirlooms varieties are open pollinated but not all open pollinated are heirlooms varieties.

    I love Plants that self sow. Perilla a type of asian mint or basil is very hardy in this Tulsa area makes great salads and it's beautiful. Working on getting Culantro, Recao going as well and chickory. Looking forward to your adventures this year. Hope your chickens are doing well!!

      Lisha Williams I’ve never heard of perilla or culantro but they sound amazing after doing a search! I definitely want to try those out now and I want to get some chickory going also. So great to hear from you again! I hope all of your plants are doing well after that snow haha! I’d love to hear more about your zero lot line garden and how your figs and mulberries are doing sometime!

      @@permaculturesolutions3539 Were you able to find culantro locally? I've had no luck so far, but I'm not totally opposed to ordering seeds online.
