Sam Pisillo when I saw it, I knew they would love it. I just had to take the liner out. They started scratching at the inside and then one of climbed between the liner and the foil part, so to make sure they wouldn’t get stuck, I just took it out. They played with that for at least 20 mins straight
Your are so creative and such a good owner! I just wanted to let you know that you should be careful if you left them unsupervised with the Pom Pom’s, and other cloth toys. Your ferrets might not be chewers but i don’t think it’s worth risking a blockage. Hope you understand! :)
My ferrets love bags too, along with towels! It’s a never ending process trying to find new things to entertain them. Lavender is easy pleased but Rowen gets naughty when bored and systematically goes round doing all the things he knows he shouldn’t if Lavender refused to play with him and he can’t get his own way 😀 some great ideas, thanks.

Due to the table cloth being plastic, I did not leave my ferrets alone when they played with it for fear they would somehow get tangled or stuck and hurt themselves. I also picked up the hot/cold bag when Ieft the ferret room. I probably could have left it out, but it seals closed and my luck one of them would get stuck in it. Other than that, I let the ferrets keep all the other toys in their room whether I’m in there or not. I honestly don’t really know if any cages that will be big enough or safe enough in that price range, at least not if you buy them new. However, I recommend looking on Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, EBay or anything other similar market place for a used Ferret Nation Cage. I see used ones for sale all the time. And most of time there is nothing wrong with them, but I would check any used cage out before you buy it to make sure the cage is in tack and that the doors work/latch, and the bars are not broken or bent. Also, not to sound like an over protective parent, but if you meet someone off the internet to buy a cage or anything else, please don’t go alone. I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that, but I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t say it. I have a double critter nation, which is perfect for my ferrets, but that’s because they have never really climbed their cage. But because the bars on the critter nation run horizontally, if your ferret is a climber (most are, and their not great at it) then I wouldn’t recommend a critter nation.
