Incase you are still wondering the command (as far as I'm aware) is SPACE+X while the unit is selected. Not sure if there is a widget applied by now but that's how I figure it out.
Control groups, you put them in CTRL+1 , then press 1 or whatever other number to select them again. You can double click a unit to select all of that type on screen too.
I really hate how the game slows down the more units you have. It is only using like 5% cpu 7% GPU, wtf?????????? It has the same damn problem that supcom 1 and 2 had. Really need to fix the engine.
The game is already playable with constant updates. You may want to check their website for the planned steam release. www.beyondallreason.info/development/steam-release
Should be pointed out that the game is not just "playable" but already highly polished with great graphics, effects, sound and music, and is better optimized than triple A games. It lacks exposure and marketing, and more new player friendly stuff including a single player campaign, but as it is it's probably the best free RTS game you can download and play.
@@zxbc1 Only thing not working is the engine lol, it does not use much cpu or gpu and causes massive slow downs, like in this video he was at .15 speed instead of 1.
@@dragonsyph2557 Just not true. I play the game everyday and GPU usage is at nearly 100% all the time. And it does not slow down that much unless you got a potato for PC. I use an upper midrange PC and in 8v8 games with thousands of units on the map I get 60+ FPS at 4k resolution. There have been huge improvements to the engine in the past year alone.
it’s so strange that BAR players always go for mexes first instead of a lab-you can afford a lab, mexes, and power, and still get a bot out, and it’s done way earlier too. i did it in a match a little while ago. I’m curious why other people don’t
You end up losing around 120-180 metal when you skip mexes (30 seconds x 4-6 m/s), which is a whole engineer. Not to mention you will bottleneck energy while building that lab, slowing you down further.
I go 2 mexes which are usually close into wind/solar into lab finish mex while first construct comes. Power up construct. Thats all you get. I dont lose front ever.@@MediaevalJames
@@manumaster1990 Well, it has many aspects that it wins TA in but overall some things in BAR lack that "oomph". If BAR had tier 4 units then it would be the go-to RTS I'd play
1:52:08 wow dude what a clash!
You're so elegant with your placement and the spacing is nice. I just spam power and converters in the corners of the map.
impressive, I watched the whole video really nice
Why the ai is not using lol canon?
Crazy game for sure :D
One thing I noticed is you need to use shift + spacebar more to insert commands infront of the queue to not repeat apm
This close to greatness 🤏
Can you tell me what’s the setting to see the blowup radius of buildings when you place them? That would be so helpful especially for a newer player

@@danielbaker8370 thank you :)
This looks kick ass! Old TA with updated cooler stuff!
Awesome. You ever upload your replays somewhere? Would be really cool to watch in-game
At 1:06:03 how does he select quickly all his units ?
Just insane game ❤
Mex, Mex, Solar, Mex, Mex, Solar, Solar, Solar, Bot Factory. Solar, Solar...
Ok got it!

Great game
Why don't you set up more mines? you are barely getting enough ore to work with.

Копия суприма с небольшими изменениями. Супримка вышла в 2007 году, у неё графика куда лучше. Такое ощущение что эта хрень с начала 2000.

Because non existant mexes do not make metal.
@@Miczu555 a little bit of metal lost is the cost for getting builders out early.

This game is alright, but it is a far cry from TA.
no, its far better.
