- I love Disney's Skyliner transportation! But this relaxing trip to the Riviera Resort to review my lunch at Primo Piatto turned out to be not as relaxing as I had planned. Join me as I share my favorite treat at Riviera and also the moment I had never been so scared on my favorite mode of Disney transportation.

Yeah that's an E-Stop. I had that happen when I was alone on a gondola - at night - on the way to POP from EPCOT and around this same spot too!. And yes, it's heart stopping. Apparently the line does go slack as the counterbalances on either end tighten it again. Wasn't fun and it scared the bleep out of me. ;)
Thanks for sharing this with me that you experienced it as well and what it was! I actually would love to chat with some cast members to see if they would give me more details to share with people so that they can understand what all the possible experiences may be while riding it to create less fear!

Your videos make me feel like I am at the resort! So relaxing :) So sorry this happened on the skyliner. I am from Canada and ski fairly often, and we have chairlifts and gondolas that this happens a lot on. Maybe I am used to *almost dying* LOL

We stayed a Caribbean Beach in 2020 , a couple of months after the reopening . I was so excited to ride the skyliner for the first time. My husband was terrified!! My youngest was 9 and loved it, My daughter was 10 and was scared as well. My husband couldn’t handle the “coming in hot” and said that we could ride it if we wanted to but he would take the bus thank you very much. Lol 😂
I feel like they should give a general notice of what it’s like to approach a station. Because I think it startles a lot of people!
@@wheremagicbegins_ It does! I have to admit that it kinda shook me up the first time lol. My husband now says that he will never ride it in the rain or the wind he doesn’t care how fast it is! My daughter surprised me however she is a coaster queen!
@@joannemcaloon6239 I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with it. I’m surprised my experience didn’t ruin it for me, but I still get nervous sometimes even though I love riding it!
❤ I buy some to bring home and eat. I found out if you buy the banana bread using mobile order, it will be wrapped.
The bakery & take and go area is not wrapped.
That’s a great tip! Yes, mine was all wrapped up when I did mobile order but it’s hard to not just eat it right away😂
I love your videos, they’re so relaxing (well except when you plummet to your death lol). So I guess I need a trip to PO for beignets and now Riveria for banana bread…
