Hello listeners! I'm leaving this pinned comment as an announcement for this video. Recently, ads started popping up on this video (they never have before). I didn't understand why as this video has been up for nearly a year without ads, but regardless I wasn't happy about it. I found out that there were two songs being hit by copyright: Cello 2 and Cello 3 from Warnings at Waverly Academy. I contemplated what I should do to get rid of the ads, and ultimately decided to remove those songs. However, because of UA-cam's rudimentary editing tools, it leaves a jarring transition between a couple songs. Fortunately, this has resulted in me being able to take control of the ads and I've disabled all skippable and unskippable ads on this video. You may now continue to watch/listen to this playlist without any annoying interruptions! ~Huw
I really wish I could study to this, but hearing these songs gives me an ND hankering that's too hard to ignore. I have mostly online classes and I just want to close everything out and launch a game 😂 Thank you so much for compiling this! I've listened to it a handful of times and it's such a heartwarming walk down memory lane. ❤
SAME. This video single-handedly cleared my skin, watered my crops, and cured my executive dysfunction (I've ALWAYS loved the ND games but this vid is my Tasks music and it's PERFECT)
So many of the Nancy Drew soundtrack songs are so nostalgic, I grew up on these games! I LOVE the music from the Irish Ghost one and the German castle game, tbh I love all of the soundtracks but those ones especially.
You know you've listened to this too many times when you can hear which song comes next XD. This accompanies me every time I study and work on papers in graduate school.
I rarely comment on anything, but this is my literal go-to when working on anything. Writing a paper? Gotta turn on Nancy Drew music. Studying? Gotta turn on Nancy Drew music. Thank you so much for making this. Just started year 2 of my undergrad program, and this soundtrack mix has been essential to my education process. This URL link is bookmarked to the top of my Google Chrome window. I'm pretty sure at least 1K of the 83K views is from me lol
Absolutely love this! I grew up on these ganes!! Owned all of them on physical cd rom. I'm 35 now and I still find myself itching to replay them!! They're all available on Steam. Thank you for making this nostalgic playlist! ♥️
You all may hate Midnight in Salem, but man. Every time that song "Feelings Theme" comes on, I just stop dead in my tracks and admire how soft and touching it is. It may not be the best in the series, but that song always hits me in the feels.
Thank you for this absolute gem of a study mix- the song choices, the transitions, the length are all perfect. I've studied to this so many times that it now instantly puts my brain into work mode in the coziest way!
I listened to this at work to help pass the time and now I’m currently listening to it again while studying for biochem. Thanks for putting this together. It helps calm the nerves 👍🏻
As a kid, I got a Nancy Drew game from my aunt. She bought it in the USA, so it was in English (with either no translation or in no languages I spoke) and unfortunately I understood fairly little of it back then. I kept trying but I think I never figured out how to finish it. :( It was a point and click. There was a menu with multiple chapters iirc. Nancy was wandering around in a huge mansion or castle. I remember a door with sounds of typing coming from inside (a typewriter iirc) and Nancy would always mumble “sounds of typing” when she approached it (the guy in there was writing a book iirc). And then there was that annoying, sketchy, rude old curmudgeon of a janitor (?) who’d often catch me snooping around in the library (?) You’d suddenly hear his booming voice go “well, well, well”, then the camera would abruptly pan on his balding head and grumpy janitor would come down the stairs, scold me and condescendingly blabber some long villainy-sounding English monologue at me. Afterwards, you had to start over. Gosh how I hated that guy! Without understanding the clues, it was hard to figure out how to avoid him. Just when I thought I might’ve found a way, I had to listen to his endless ramblings yet again. Ugh. Oh and there was some guy named Jack that apparently was supposed to return later. At some spot Nancy would say “Jaaack must be gooone” in that weird singsongy manner. My little nephew found it very funny, he kept clicking on it and mocking it. He lived in Ukraine and only spoke Russian and no English whatsoever, so he made “pidshak i futbol” (jacket and soccer) out of it lol Can anyone per chance tell me which ND game that was?
Hello Rabe!! The game you are thinking of is called Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower! It’s game number 4 in the series and released in 2001. You are correct, it only released in English. Your memory serves you well!
Hello, I would like to say thank you for posting this video. I have listened to this soundtrack at least 50 times or more to study for mid terms and finals for college. In about a week from now I will be graduating in a Hospitality program. I recommend using this playlist for studying as it really helps you to feel in the game while "completing tasks" at least thats what I used to tell myself. Thanks again :)
These soundtracks really make it easy for me to focus on schoolwork and pass my classes!! Thank you so much for the hard work that you do when creating these playlists. ❤
I physically restrain myself from hitting the like button- this is because I want to hit it every time I’m enjoying this music which is multiple times throughout the video and I’ve already hit the like button once so I don’t want to unlike it haha! 😂 I love listening to this while I work! 😊 thank you for making this!
Ugh, thanks, I just want to cry now. These games represent all my childhood, it is sad that we are not French translation for the last games released....
Golden Age of Nancy Drew Music 1998-2008 expect for those songs that are annoying, like Secret of the Old Clock, The Final Scene, The Haunted Carousel, and The Creature of Kapu Cave but at least those games have some good songs.
Hey velvetwendy! The track at exactly 19:15 is from Nancy Drew: Trail of the Twister, however the track immediately after is from Nancy Drew: The Shattered Medallion!

I never thought in a million years I'd break down and sob over a video coming back online but here we are. 😭
I thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find it!

I just gotta compliment the mixing. The transition between pieces is perfectly seamless. Excellent, extremely satisfying.

Like many here I grew up on ND games. Listening to the game music is oddly comforting 😌

Am I allowed to listen to this while cleaning? Cooking? Snooping? 😁♥️🕵🏼♀️
Are we ever truly allowed to snoop? 😂😉
Absodrewtly ahah I am reporting you to the authorities tho
I listen to it to help me focus on homework!
You are REQUIRED to listen to this while snooping. 🔍👀

I do everything with this playlist, cleaning, showering, sleeping. Never get tired of this. ND's musics are the best. Thank you 🙏
This is just what I need while working. I feel like I'm playing a Nancy Drew game :D Thank you!!

I didn’t realize until recently that my aesthetic is 💯 Nancy Drew 🥰 Thank you for this compilation! It will get many views from me!
@@LandonOrr917 puzzles and mystery- also learning, and typically historical!

This music brings me back to my childhood. Such a nice nostalgic feeling
I love that I could recognize some of these songs and know exactly which game and sometimes even scene they are from!
There's some I still didn't know tho. Guess I need to play some more games! Bwahaha
This just reminds me how brilliant these games are. And just how many there really are! Beautiful music and so well done!

Perfect for studying. It has the comforting familiarity of the Nancy Drew soundtracks without any distraction. So soothing and focusing friendly.
Amazing playlist! I listen to it during work, it helps me soothe my ADHD symptoms❤
I like listening to it while working and trying to guess what games the different songs are from! Some of them are very nostalgic.
I listen to this over and over again while working! Thank you!

LOL why does "Town" (ASH) sound exactly like the Sims
Is this waverly??
The image in the video is from Waverley, but all the music is from the 33 main Nancy Drew games (no dossier music)!
This was a great relaxing playlist until it started paying ads every 2 songs 🥴
I've attempted a fix which should sort out the issue very soon! I'll keep you updated!
