More about Space Trash Scavenger (from Steam):
In the 31st century, Space Trash Scavengers employed by ScavCorp roam the cosmos, risking their lives for riches amongst the debris of an ancient war.
Build your Space Rig-a 3D raft with artificial gravity, power, trash processing, farming and defense. Craft the everyday food, fuel, weapons, ammo and space suit upgrades you’ll need to survive out here in the vastness of the cosmos.
In space there is no up or down! Expand your base in any direction for the most efficient layout. Once you are equipped with the necessary fuel and a warp drive, you’ll be free to explore other sectors and continue your mission.
Circumnavigate tiny asteroids, fly between abandoned outposts, and board derelict spaceships as they orbit the system. Take caution, however, and remember to keep your jetpack fuel topped up-you’ll need it to get back to your Space Rig safe and sound!
Each salvage zone is a procedurally generated, dynamic, and ever-changing open world.
You are an employee for the galaxy’s number one waste disposal firm, stranded far away from home with a mission to clean the galaxy from the remains of a galactic war.Space trash is your main resource. Whether it is salvaged debris floating in space, advanced and rare tech from wrecked ships, or scavenged goods from asteroid surfaces, you’ll want to snatch it all up!
Recycle and refine it to produce valuable goods that will net a tidy sum on the Trash Exchange, and spend it to upgrade your kit.
You’re not alone amid the wreckage. Alien bots patrol most sectors of space nowadays and they’ll be drawn to you as your operation expands.
You’ll need a steady aim, impeccable defenses, and an upgraded armory to protect your Space Rig from the dangers of these foes. Survival depends on your ability to defend yourself!
...and more!
We'll be adding more and more to Space Trash Scavenger, so be sure to wishlist and follow for updates! Join our discord (linked to the right) if you'd like to help beta test the game. - Ігри
WHO'S READY FOR SPACE FUN: play.paradoxinteractive.com/LGIO-Space
(and space stocks and space cubes and space squids, space 🚀 space 🚀 space 🚀 space 🚀 space 🚀 space)
hi josh
Oh boy HERE WE GO
MEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Space fun? I wanne see space mayhem!
how many warcrimes did you commit in yugoslavia?
I love how josh just finds something minor to abuse and just does ONLY that for the rest of the video
E
I think he didnt do that tbh
A man only has so much time. But just look at the space engineer game to prove what happens when a series is made
to me, more times he does it, the funnier it is.
That just is josh, and we all love it
There's some thing hopeful and reassuring about how Josh approaches each new game with all the kindness and respect of a locust swarm descending upon an unsuspecting farming community. Great work as always, dude.
What a beautiful analogy for his channel 😂
E
I don't think I've ever read a better way of describing Josh's playstyle.
That.... escalated really quickly...
But I totally agree
"the kindness and respect of a (thing that is not kind or respectful)" im stealing that, thank you.
I love the fact that Josh found a way to literally convert his dead body into resources...
First time?
@@MrEzio371 no, I just don't remember him doing that...
he uses corpses as storage lockers whenever possible. Waste not, want not!
@@delfyinc yeah, as lockers, not as resources...
@@koziak6076 Well... if you consider dead bodies to be a resource for a zombie outbreak, there was that one time where he repeatedly killed himself to animate his corpses in order to make his own zombie horde in different colored socks...
That was hilarious!
Nice
Wow!
Nice
Nice
👍
You know it’s a good episode when the video is only half-over and Josh has an entire shed filled with his own corpses.
Yup
I just read this before watching the video, and holy crap im lmao.
rip
If there are conveyor belts in a game, Josh will find a way to push their limits
E
The second i heard "conveyor belts" my PTSD of his satisfactory base went to max.
All i could think is "dear god no"
Yeah @@plague9098, I've also seen him play Satisfactory. We thought the same thing.
Wonder what would his factorio base look like
@@plague9098 thats Exactly how I felt haha
21:38 guess Josh just made one of the best illustrations for how the government bureaucracy works
"everything is moving, everything is transferred to somewhere else...as you can see there is some real resources, but most of it is just recirculating around..."
The developer saw your video and fixed packing dead bodies - "Do not erroneously pack dead player body if you pack or destroy a space rig cube it is lying on (thanks Josh!)."
where's the fun in that?
Josh is the only person who can clean up trash and simultaneously create it.
...And somehow make it worse.
At least the trash he made are organic
Hey, josh's trash is art!!
@@StrikeEagIeso true! I'll never question "can trash be art" again lol
I don’t know what we did to deserve another one so soon but I’m so excited!!
Thanks Josh!
Thats what I'm saying
yees
I know right? feels like it was yesterday, we are so blessed :D
We didn't do anything. Josh just uploads only as often as decent sponsor offers come through his email.
E
It’s a special kind of terrifying to hear Josh say “You don’t need the tutorial, you’ve got me”
“Thank you so much, corpse barn!” is a great quote
you need to say "Thank you so much, corpse barn"
-Josh
Josh has taught me a very valuable lesson.
Never do what you’re told. No matter how much it takes, always figure out a way to do it wrong.
A valuable lesson to apply in every aspect of life. One that cant never possibly get you into trouble and most definitely wont land you in jail, Josh can attest to that.
Makes me wonder if Josh works a QA job.
Wrong? It works in the end, so I'd rather call his method "unique".
Josh is the only one who can destroy a game or push it to it's limit in the most obscure ways possible and yet still convince people to want to get said game 😂
yep, he completely destroyed this game, but it's going on my wishlist
Its*
nm, you were referring to the other comment, it's still not a helpful comment.
@@feldar You talking to me? How is it not helpful to teach someone that they're writing something wrong, so they don't have to do that again? And learn how to reply and understand context.
@@Atlas_Redux*Tis
5:04 Josh getting excited about conveyer belt mechanics just warms my heart and kills me at the same time omg 😂❤
it was kinda sexy how he said it thank you sm for the ping
There is only one thing in this universe that scares me…
When Josh says : “HOLD PLEASE”
I love how he’s been able to upload more frequently yet still be able to shatter the game and any hope it had of not being broken
E
I was genuinely confused. 2 videos in less than a month (1 week, in fact!)
I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in a game dev’s office when they watch what Josh has been doing in their games 😂
The satisfactory devs would be watching and playing in his world to try and fix bugs that result in the game being unplayable.
@@JadeTheProtogen1 except they (the Satisfactory devs) don't care about things like that
@@thesteelrodent1796I don't know about that, they fixed his save file when an update broke it...and rumor has it they kept a copy for themselves for stress tests.
@@sethb3090 no rumor about it, they request updated save files from him regularly. his world is their go to stress test world according to AMA's. They also apparently show it to any new employees just to see their reaction
i feel like they cried themselves to sleep after watching this
If I had a nickel for every time Josh used a scifi astronaut game's respawn mechanic to generate infinite treasure chests, I'd have enough to finish the Doofenshmirtz quote
As soon as Josh announced that there are conveyor belts in the game, I knew I was in for a treat...
This is a really cool way to deal with the whole “base building in space but there is no down in space” problem in a way that’s fun to play, kinda realistic, and actually improves the gameplay
Josh: "...anyway I have a curiosity now."
Devs: sweating intensifies
Josh's PC: prepares last Will and Testament
underrated comment!
The ending makes me laugh so hard-the tone of Josh's when the turrets are not shooting, but instead, the whole base just crashes to the planet, and the random background music always gets me
Love if this one comes back once in a while. It's really one of those games perfect for Josh and his huge monstrosities.
I love how Josh finds a way to make anything with building mechanics look like a Window’s ScreenSaver. Beautiful
Room full of corpses is EXACTLY what youre expecting in Josh video
... *thinking of counter argument... cannot find it.* ... huh... yeah... I didn't even think about that but as Waltuh would say... "You're goddamn right"
i was actually kinda expecting him to fill the room with resource cubes made exclusively from dead bodies.
Though maybe you wouldnt necessarily expect it to be full of corpses of himself, which is not small detail. That said, either way its a very Josh thing.
@@krazer9515 I like the idea that he just lets his corpse cubes get lost in the ever-flowing mayhem of trash-tor beams, like so much detritus circulating amongst the arms of space coral base
The lasers slowly reaching in from off screen and grabbing stuff during his explanations was so good.
paradox should add this as a hoard ship that you have to fight as a final boss, where it turns out the universe was just caught by the ship the whole time
The idea that there's somewhere _one_ necessary quest item dancing in there is oddly satisfying as a watcher.
At the end, I imagined Josh building his ship/base like a cage around that asteroid to drag it with him wherever he goes until the flings it at something/someone else.
“They’re conveyer belts!”
Me, having war flashbacks. “This game doesn’t know what’s coming.”
All Josh's videos could be 100% an ad and I would still watch them all with a large smile on my face.
Josh personifies the phrase "crazy like a fox" only the fox in this case is actually insane.
At this point if Josh wanted to surprise us in a video... he would do one where he plays it normally
That would be on April 1st.
Or make an collab with dangerouly funny...
It's would be like two inter-dimensionnals desasters got in the same universe, and started to fuse
Collab with Spiffing Brit would be nice too. We all know Spiffing loves a "perfecly balanced game
Check his Meeple Station series, it's an extreme shock compared to this video, lol
Getting a peak into josh's insanity from time to time is always so funny. The little moments are especially amusing. Sometimes they are so rapid fire you don't even notice them all.
It gets worse if you ever watch him while he's streaming.
@@LeetshifterI love watching his streams I wish he streamed more
I have no idea why but josh's videos about games in space are always my favorites. First it was Astro Colony and now Space Trash Scavenger. These videos seem like they need follow-ups.
Most of the other pre-views I've seen just show the basic building and floating about collecting resources. This is the first I've seen with much of the automation and conveyer belts. So this is actually the best demo of the game on youtube.
Josh and space games are always good
E
I am from the future. He will play Kerbal Space Program and make Squad die from how many bugs were found by Lets Game It Out
Josh can never truly enjoy a game unless they include a few conveyor belts
Having watched this played properly it's scary seeing how much he's achieved and what he did with it. The dedication here is astounding. 😆
Josh is type of guy who picked-up a random trash from his own neighborhood and turns it into an art.
I love it when I'm rewatching some of Josh's old hits and suddenly notice a new video released 10 minutes ago.
E
I thought I was the only one lol
@@glynn4216 The Habitat of Suffering is my go-to.
the sweet sound of "hey its Josh welcome to Lets Game It Out" is relaxing.
16:35 “Dilf” lmao😂
Josh fixes his upload schedule any% (very many) glitches speedrun.
It’s amazing how Josh manages to break every game he touches
Josh is a perfect definition of chaotic neutral.
Does whatever the crap he wants, however he wants, to whoever he wants.
No evil drive just a desire to make a mess.
1:11 Favorite game mentioned: Now have to focus on video until over
This was pretty fun to watch, would love to see you do more of this game!
With every new episode he releases, we can see josh slipping further and further into the eternal pit that is insanity
He is the insanity, and the pit
@@elitherainwing😭
It's more like Josh lets us see into his self created black hole of insanity by spewing an insanity hawking radiation. This allows him to spread his insanity and not only suck more normality into his insanity realm, but also infect more of the universe with the taint of his insanity. Eventually all will be tainted by his insanity, and then after that his insanity will break through into the real world. Not because he broke out, but because he sucked the universe into his insanity, where he makes the rules. Terrifying.
you know the world is in great hands when josh says "you don't need the tutorial, you've got me'
It's absolutely crazy just how quickly your channel has grown! Proud of you my guy!
We are in a golden age of Josh being an adorable chaos god
When my day is too calm, I can always count on your videos to bring that perfect amount of chaos in.
Normally I would only watch a video twice on accident but with your raft video with the detail plank I've actually watched it like 5 times on purpose that is how funny and good that video is.(I love the channel so keep up the good work)
"Well I think we got goals now" is right up there with "Hold, please."
Josh always finds a way to make his "creations" come to life
Josh reaching another level of craziness by adding | Ad to the end of the title 🤯😂
Lol I wondered if I saw that right
All of his videos are ads for the games
I love josh so much I've been watching him since he was playing iconoclasts with Anthony and I wish the best for both of you and I thank you for entertaining us throughout the years ❤
I love how the video is only 9h old, and it's 7th on trending! Josh definitely deserves it!
Josh is the kind of guy developers hire to find bugs in their game
Agreed. QA elevated to crazy perfection.
I doubt they can afford him. He's making a ton of money on UA-cam.
Oh, please. It only costs them a free license key.
I'm actually amazed that josh tried to put the stearing wheel right
Me too! It wasnt expected at all which made me laugh harder when he accidentally faced it the other way lol.
Josh has the finesse of a sledgehammer and still beats games. I love it.
This might just be the most chaotic space game yet
As much as I've loved watching Josh terrorize games over the years, I've never really been interested in these types of games... Yet surprisingly I actually find myself interested in THIS one. Something about it just seems like it would be fun 😂
maybe because it is made by Paradox
oh my god what you've made is beautiful. I want to see it as a polished full dungeon kind of thing. The organized chaos reminds me of fract-osc or qube's final levels.
Its so funny how when josh creates a conveyor belt line, he always builds them in a perpetual loop that serves no purpose😄
Your videos inject chaotic serotonin directly into my veins. You are by very far my favorite content creator. You're amazing Josh
josh is a psychopath and i love it
Agreed lol
Bro, you didnt even watch the video, you just rushed for a comment
True
@@mohamedabdulsalam3105 as if this is the only video where he demonstrates it
Me too
This was a real good episode. I'd love some more of this weird little game. For one, we never got to see what a preponderance of turrets would do. You know, if they worked.
FANTASTIC! More of this please - so much fun!!!
Josh is a specialist at bringing framerate down for every game. Also, I was slightly disappointed when he started the propulsors. I expected the whole thing to either start rotating or completely break apart since the propulsors faced different directions
It’s a good day when Josh uploads less than a week after the previous video
I love how each of his videos makes me want to buy the game and play it right
Ngl i had such a bad day at work today and seeing a video up so soon made it so much better, cant wait to watch this while I lay down. Ty josh!! You the bees knees
Seriously, these doses of pure, unfiltered insanity brighten my week far more than anything else!
Just don't tell my loved ones 😅
That was hilarious! 😂 I hope josh makes another video on Space Trash Scavenger!
I love that whenever I watch one of your videos I just know this game is about to be spun, spanked and just RIPPED to pieces!
feels weird but i find ur voice very confortable and sometimes i just let ur video play while i go to sleep so its easier for me to fall asleep since im sleep deprived, and knowing the video its always funny
I’m convinced Josh is a professional bug tester for games and he just records videos as a hobby💀
I always enjoy your sound design and arrangements Josh. Thanx for all the years, and here's to a few more still [ less than three ]
Im mad because i missed your last few videos, but im happy i can rewatch them all in one day now yippee
Lol the ending got me. “Now these turrets will take care of it, or maybe not. okay let’s just ram it with our ship instead”
Josh is just a stress tester for game makers at this point. No one else comes close
this is a disaster but a masterpiece at the same time
You just described the channel in a nutshell.
So a disasterpiece
@@Daigerus quite literally
You know your day would be great if LGIO uploads a new video.
When he opened the "corpse barn" it genuinely surprised me!! Like I gasped at the sheer volume of corpses... only on Let's Game it Out... lol
Whenever Josh uploads in, like, a millennium, my day is made.
you know you did well when Josh doesn't break your game into oblivion
This was the most normal I’ve seen a playthrough from this channel lol he put the guns in the front and the steering wheel in the middle, he even put it on the right way!
theres nothing i would enjoy more, than watching josh play cool math games.
i think that "jacksmith" would be a great one for him to try
I would bet $1 million that this is the shortest time in between videos. Good job, Josh.
Whenever this man posts a video I get goosebumps from fear and shivers from happiness…
I’m actually crying rn because I literally cannot sit through this video without getting nauseous because for some reason I get motion sickness so easily and I almost threw up because I really wanted to watch this but I can’t the moment is making me sick I hope y’all enjoyed it though and thanks for making us another video josh ✨
Not gonna lie, the idea of a giant ship that absorbs asteroids into its chaotic circulatory system is kinda metal ngl
Probably because that's just *Unicron* the planet eater but still very cool
05:07
Josh sees the conveyor belt
PC: NO………
If the PC was alive, it would definitely not love this idea.
this is a conveyor belt
his pc: dear god
josh: there's more
both me and the pc: NO!
It always puts a smile on my face when josh uploads, And when he spends days playing the game lol.
Letting Josh test games is amazing. It's a dev's best game tester and worse nightmare, and fun content for us viewers 😊
I have watched most of this man's videos and i love almost every single one. But today i heard "Corpse barn" and for a very brief second thought "oh god is he losing it?... am I losing it?..." and then went back to laughing at the very next joke
Josh is the most chaotic neutral person on platform
*tries to find a disagreement... unable to find it...* ... ... huh... yeah... no you make perfect sense that is true.
