@@NewChapterVintage I wish I had! Sometimes I miss things lol maybe if I go back if it’s still there, I’ll purchase it. Going to get there at some point next week.
Always fun to shop with you. I have a funny story for you. When I saw you run your finger up and down the little Christmas tree that had a chip on it I had to tell you what happened to me two days ago I was Thrifting and I do the same thing when I’m looking for chips I picked up an item and it had a little chip in it so I set it back down. Without realizing it, I had cut my finger tip and I reached up because my eye was itching and felt like I had an eyelash in it. I did all the things you do when you think you have an eyelash in your eye, with the finger that I did not know, was bleeding. I was on my way to the back of the store to go to the restroom to see if I could get the eyelash out of my eye. You should have seen the looks of horror I was getting! I could not figure out why people were looking at me that way, A lady ran up to me saying are you OK and handing me a bag of tissue and I’m like I’m fine I’m not crying I just think I have an eyelash in my eye. I’m gonna go in the bathroom and get it out. She looked at me like I was absolutely insane and said you have blood all over and around your eye. I looked at my hand and there was blood all over my fingers. I turned around, went back and grabbed the broken piece and then I kept my head down and got to the bathroom as quickly as I could. I got myself all cleaned up and I washed off the piece that had the break on it. Then I wrapped it up in paper towels, so that I could turn it in at the front and tell them it was broken and sharp. My Husband asked me why I went back and grabbed the piece before I cleaned myself up and I said I didn’t want anybody else to cut themselves and I didn’t know if I had left blood on the item. Luckily, I hadn’t touched anything else. I did disinfect the cart handle just in case but I cannot believe a cut that I didn’t even feel and could barely see bled so much. I can only imagine what those people that were looking so horrified at me thought. 🙄 my Husband was coming up with all these hilarious scenarios of what people must have been thinking and we were laughing so hard. 😂🤣
More important than comps is knowing your customer, brand, and if you can make money Sometimes there are no comps and you have to know if you can flip it or not. I bought a vase no comps did research found nothing listed and sold it for 90 dollars. Person bought it told me the artist and it was actually a 1200 dollar Vase haha but I was happy with 90 and made a huge profit for my $3.99 investment.
Well said! I will have to definitely agree with this. I am one of those people who finds items that a lot of times don’t have any comps and I will pick it up if there’s “something about it “. And many times flip it because it’s a unique piece and pretty good profit! about your vase, that’s really great profit! Definite win💖💖🎉🎉
@jolieflipsvintage love your videos and all the stuff you find. Sad you didn't get all the Ashtrays- people are hanging them on walls as collages - similar to the basket wall craze - they were all in the same stunning colorway
@@birdsvintage I totally battled that in my head, lol as of course, I looked at the comps!😄🤣🤣🤣💖 thank you for the tip. I’m going to go back there tomorrow if they are there I’m scooping them up!
@jolieflipsvintage it's getting harder to find vintage in excellent flawless condition - which is what most ppl want. Some are forgiving of dings most aren't. If you think you can make money on it get it - your area prices are lower than most- there's always someone looking for it. There's no set in stone rule of what sells and how much. Most of the time if it's too cheap ppl think there's something wrong with it or that it's fake lol.
The blue and white Italian piece may here been a holy water font.
oh i see that!!! you are probably right! i was so confused and to think I grew up Catholic🤣🤣
Yes, exactly. Beautiful! I would’ve picked that up because Italian religious items do very well for me. Other great pick ups though. 😊

@@NewChapterVintage thank you so much friend💖
That was a soap dish, with the pulled down lip. It sits on the edge of the basin, so the liquid runs right into the sink. I love mine!

I love to buy vintage ashtrays. I have a space at the local dispensary and people love to buy them. 😊
ohh so awesome!!! 🤩
The frame is the best thing about the marble art. 😂 Had it been a cat on the other hand…😉🤗
You deserve more subscribers, your video’s a so nice. 😊👍🏼
💖 thank you Pina. That youtube algorithm is tough🤣🤣 BUT I LOVE making videos for you and others on here and that’s all that matter to me💋
Don’t feel bad about the glass fish. It
wasn’t Blenko! Always look at the bottom fins. Blenko fish vases have a smooth curved fin.
🤯🤯 thank you so much!! That’s so help🥰

Someone is going to see my comp and undervalue the item - beware of comps they aren't actual value just recently sold prices
