Love this video thank you, I’m 19 attending Morgan State University in Baltimore and starting to save for the next few years for my first rental property in the city. Would love to hear more of you guys experience with doing property in the city and finding the right areas.
I grew up in Prince George's County and I'm now realizing that there's almost no path to home ownership here. Not with my single income. I cannot wait 10 yrs to buy a modest home when I can buy an affordable home I genuinely enjoy for hundreds of thousands less. I just have to come to terms with the idea of having to commute 70 miles roundtrip for at least half the week.
I live in mo County. Licensed realtor but mainly do property management. Looking to invest, even considered out of state due to high living costs/barrier to entry locally. Baltimore has always been daunting because I don't know the neighborhoods and you hear the horror stories. Any specific neighborhoods you can recommend looking into?
There are actually 250+ neighborhoods in Baltimore so we rarely discuss zip codes. Things even vary within neighborhoods....so it depends on a lot of factors.
