@@chris77777777ify am watching from America. most the low speed accident needs on front hood swap and radiator because the cab behind the engine. but any truck roll over over highspeed is a total loss because the engine and front axle take most damage, consider the long chassis frame get twisted. ua-cam.com/video/k_lV0KdgLDM/v-deo.html

Hi just a little info about the cab legs that were brocken off, they are designed to do that so that cab dosnt get crashed due the to momentum of the Chassi it allows the cab to roll back on the chassi

Nice job on this rebuild. There is a faster and easier way to switch the dashboards. I can take it out in one part in about 1 hour. If you want more info, let me know. Greetings from the Volvo plant in Belgium.

@@kingsleyhealey1731 we use induction to heat up the silicone that seals the dash to the cab while using a lashing belt to pull both apart. You do need a couple of guys to take it out as it's pretty heavy and large. It's not a small or fast job, but when replacing a cab it's a very good option.

@@sebastianjedrzejczyk9597 jak polsku to mam pytanie na rosyjskim kanale radebgruz truck repair też robili Actrosa MP3 też po strzale a gość mówił że naprawa wychodzi ponad połowę taniej niż zakup nowej kabiny więc mam pytanie odnośnie kosztów prawie +- 50 tys zł bo w sumie jest w funtach więc moje pytanie w sumie nie potrzebne

I generally always overtake another truck in plenty of time & come out early so I can see what’s coming up & generally to maintain a healthy braking distance.

rebuild? za duzo sie nie popisaliscie :) film sie powinien nazywac zmiana kabiny , ja rozumiem jak byscie odbudowali kabine po wypadku a nie zmienili na nowa :)
Why dimantle new dash?
They said why in the video, the wiring was different and they wanted to swaps all the old ECUs etc to save coding up the new ones.
The dash has very complex wiring and electronic components. Every wiring harness is made to the trucks original specifications and adjusting the wiring can be very difficult and time consuming. Swapping the dash is the easiest and fastest way to make everything work. Adjusting the software can also take up a lot of time, and I'm not sure how the software support is for non-Volvo workshops :-)

Why? Replaced the cab with new and any broken or bent parts replaced. Not as if the chassis was bent in half!
