I bought denali cluster to install it on my 2018 chevy tahoe - but the new cluster its look not fitting the size I think is bigger than the old one ? there is a difference or all the same size if the are the same size so I can try again and obem the trims try to make it fit

it might but personally i wouldn’t do that. it won’t show your mileage it’ll just show - - - , - - - where your mileage would normally be
When you get it Does it come programmed already if you included your VIN and other info ?
if you select programming it will come programmed

Is your sub box custom? Where did you get it from? what size subs do you have? What gauge wire are you using and do you have it set up to a extra battery?
jimy ramirez yes the box is custom made for my subs and my truck. they’re 2 8” subs.
2 gauge wiring and yes i have an audio battery
What brand subs and amp do you use? do you have a capacitor hooked up to it?

it’ll work but not completely. it won’t show your mileage it’ll just show - - - , - - -. i didnt want it all ghetto on a brand new truck lol so i got it programmed and did it the correct way.

Hi, thanks for the video. I'm reading from the vendor of the cable, and some other videos that I've seen, informing me that the cable for some reason activates the controls for the radio. No one can say why the activation to the radio is hit or miss. One last question, you had alarms showing on the cluster. How did you fix that?
the cable makes the controls on the steering wheel work with the cluster! not with the radio, that requires more work.

It's only on currently because he didn't start the truck, just turned the key to "on" but didn't turn over the engine.

it’ll turn on but there’s no way you’ll be able to mess woth any of the settings so it’ll be kind of pointless

no i didn’t connect them to the stereo. from what i’ve seen it’s a lot more work to get them to work with the stereo. i only connected them to the cluster

Im assuming the mileage is off now as your current truck didn’t have that mileage did it ? Or does it get programed to your mileage?
mileage is correct, i got it programmed. link is in the description to the company that did the programming

While you had that all apart you should have gone one step further....I changed my wheel out for the heated wheel. Change the clock spring, and the wheel and run one wire for power. Plug was already there.
Didnt really care for the heated wheel myself bro it doesnt get that cold where i live lol
@@dopezamora I can understand that. It's my favorite addition so far. Does the dash display show any of the android auto stuff? Will the map show up from the android auto or car play? I see navigation does but I don't use that. I use Google maps.

@@TuryLanderos Yes. For the heated wheel you need the clock spring that has the plugs for it. I got mine off eBay for less than 40$.

programming is separate. you can buy a brand new cluster and they’ll program it for you thru their website tho

no i didnt hook them up to the stereo. that’s a lot more work so i didnt even try. i just needed them to work with the cluster

Because they are a ripoff. Does that answer your question? Looking at a dial display or a digital display does not affect the performance of the truck, so anyone paying $700 for a visual change is an idiot. Of course, changing the steering wheel for an additional charge only adds to the idiocy
I bought one from the junkyard I didn’t need to program it! All these bs videos saying you have to program it or it will break your ecm is a lie
