DPU and weezer riffs in a great demo video. Top stuff fella. Your demos of gear will forever be the best, succinct and show the full range that each piece of gear can provide. Only problem is, you end up costing costing more money every time I view one!

Hello. Can the BantAmp be used without connection to the speaker output and without connection to the headphone output at the same time, without harming the amplifier? Would the amplifier suffer some kind of damage at the moment or in the long run? I want to output the signal through the amplifier send to an audio interface to record the signal without cabinet emulation so that I can use my custom impulse responses, and at the same time I don't want to have headphones and/or speakers connected for a while, can this be done without damaging the amplifier? .Great video.Thank you

The thing with these cheap alternatives is that they are just alternatives. No matter if it's a software sim oder hardware sim like the Joyo Meteor or Joyo Oxford Sound, I still don't know how close it actually is to the "oranginal" amp.

@@Turbo-D I wouldn't buy a Terror Stamp again - this thing really disappointed me. I'd rather buy a Micro Dark because of the FX Loop for recording with impulses responses. :D
I have a Marshall DSL20CR - when I roll the gain back to almost clean and then hit is with a RAT type distortion it almost sounds like a legit orange.
@@ScienceofLogicTV yes thr only small box amp that really does it for me is hughes&kettner grandmeister 40, but this small things will surprise you trust me! cheers
it's a valve based analog amp, it's nothing like a computer sim. I own a Meteor XL, an Orange Micro Dark, a Rocker 15 Terror and a Rockerverb 50. The Joyo is great stuff it's like the orange sound for sure. It's not just a sound but a feel and response. These are little valve amps in the preamp section. They're great.

How's this compare to the Zombie in person? I had a Zombie for like a day and returned it because it just sounded like a shitty distortion pedal no matter how I set it.
Yeah, just like a Mesa sounds. ROFL
Maybe you should have kept that Zombie. I personally think it's more than awesome. I practice with headphones most of the time. Every time I play through that little amp, I am so proud I own such a cool thing.
The zombie needs an eq pedal through the fx loop. Tone knob doesnt help much but you can really get great tones with an eq or good pick ups in your guitar

You get 2 channels for the same price though, which is a pretty useful feature. I've played both and the sound is very comparable. Just more features in the Joyo for a bit less money.
