That fuckin theme song is absolutely amazing I can only imagine how nostalgic it may feel for the folks who played this game in their Dreamcast as a child.
@@AnnCatsanndra As someone who's been playing this since 2020, I say you should give it a try! At this point in time it's gotten enough polish to set a good experience even without any mods added.
@@geoffreyrichards6079 Thank you! I wish SRB2 still allowed for changes in the draw-distance. From what I searched up, it used to be possible in older versions of the game, but as of now it isn't. I could be quite wrong though, I need to keep looking into it. EDIT: So, having searched up on it, it's a set fact that changing the draw distance in SRB2 is pretty much impossible and it has to do with how the game is made. Sad, but understandable.
@@ikagura It might just be, actually. And he does, that's the idea. EDIT: As per mention from the comment below, it *isn't* the Dimension Glabber version. Checked the link to the addon after all this time and it's all El-Fire.
@@emugamerseyer It's all played and recorded on PC, no patches required since all that is needed is adding the linked addons to their respective directory in SRB2. Thank you.

Not bad. Though if it were more accurate to the hardware limitations at the time, the draw distance probably would’ve been much closer.

In 1996 you had to pack all the level textures in a single 128x128 texture atlas 😗

Is that Emerald Coast from Dimension Glabber?

No it's not from dimension glaber. This one is by El-Fire. Look up "srb2 emerald coast mod"

Oof, the overuse of squash and stretch is really distracting to me.
