Nice build. But I dont like the tweeters in the center. I think it sounds better when they are spread out. Even on small speakers it seems to make a difference in my opinion.
What kind of battery is powering this? I want to make something similar but dont know how to power it wirelessly. Or at all for that fact. Please help?
These mini Bluetooth amplifiers mostly run on 12v to 24v. I run a Bluetooth setup with my cordless power tool battery 18v straight. I run another bluetooth setup using a mini 12v car amplifier using the same cordless power tool batteies 18v, but in this case, i use a DC to DC step down converter. Use a battery with a big amperage load to last you a good while. The best part is, when your battery goes dead, there is no need to look for a power outlet to charge it. Just swapped out the battery for a fresh charged one.
Some Chinese amplifier board usually give distortion or crack sound when you turn the amp to the maximum level. Especially with amplifier that build in Bluetooth module because the Chinese guy don not limit the output level of the Bluetooth module and they usually set gain of the amp very high. Does this module having this problem ? Waiting for your reply.
It weights 31 pounds so it's a little chunky lol. For the battery I'm using the Dayton Audio LBB-3 battery holder which holds three 18650 cells, and I'm just using some cheap cells in it. I can still get a few hours out of it at full volume. Fully charged its a little over 12v and a little over 9v dead, so the output does suffer once it starts to get really drained
@@LoudLabsAudio Yea, I need to add some tweeters to mine. For now 16lb and 10s2p (20 x 18650 2200mAh). I will test the runtime during weekend :] I like your 2.1 concept, but I would connect them as stereo because sometimes signal is different on left/right chanel, so not necessary for stereo separation (even though it sounds better than mono even if speakers are this close) but for more information. Usually I use 6s battery with tpa3116 amp because at 12V it is only outputing 10W instead of 50W (THD+N at 10%). Tthat is why you have such long runtime with only 3 batteries. But you are using sensitive speakers so it is loud anyway
@@quadsquad3087 finally someone who's done his homework. There are too many people out there bragging about large inaccurate and false numbers lol. Very well done to the both of you!
Are you referring to the "Soundboks"? I get ads on Instagram for it all the time, and at $1000 and 30+ pounds I'm sure it would out perform this speaker, considering it only cost me about $250 to build
@@LoudLabsAudio oh ok...but in my opinion if you create bass hole on your speaker the sound might be pretty nice and very loud...i already build my own bluetooth speaker and also i create one bass hole between the two of my speaker and one passive radiator in the back...
Your not very good at answering your replys here on your channel are you? I've asked twice now What the name of the song is and who is the artist? No reply from you. Disappointing.
Hey sorry about that! My apologies, this is my second UA-cam channel and it doesn't get many comments so I only occasionally check it. The song is called Wild Pogo by Francis Preve, its a free song you can download from the UA-cam music library. Sorry again for the lack of response, and thank you for watching my videos!

Great sound, i would like to build speakers, i can do the woodwork but not sure about the electronic part,,
Nice job! id like to ask if i make one with an 18v battery can i run a bigger woofer? could you give me a cubic dimension of that box please?
Great job. Instead of crossovers I recommend you to use frequency divider

please add description with details
How many inches of box do you have to make for this speaker's good effect? Without bass resonance. No Bass Resonance. is going to use Bass Air Tube
Ur vids are great

If it's set to high you can adjust the volume with the knob
sweet speaker, I just finished my 600w boombox (they always state these numbers at 10% thd anyway :) so how much does your weight and what batteries?

Olá. Qual a marca e modelo desse subwoofer? Saudações do Brasil 👍
Do you ever test the frequency response of your builds?
Doesnt sound like it
SUPER LOUD sounds like a por nname
have u ever heard of "soundbox" pretty sure that will outperform this bluetoothspeaker.

All is good but west of Mony cose it's working on 12 volt
Id buy that off you
wirings ????
Where is the bass hole????
There isn't on. The front speakers are sealed, and the passive radiators function like a port for the subwoofer.
