- Review of the Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Man-At-Arms Figure That is part of the Wave 11 Masterverse Series of Figures. I also show some parts mixing and swapping with MOTU Classics and Origins figures.
Looking forward to getting this one. I'm really into this New Eternia line, though I need more heroic figures; Buzz Offs the only good guy I have!
I also really like and into the New Eternia line, too! There are newer good guys coming out next year for New Eternia and Revolutions like Meckaneck and Snout Spout, to name a couple. Buzz-Off is really cool. There are many figures coming to the nrw Eternia series. But probably more bad guys than good guys. I think the villains sell better. But there's also Ram-man, which came out recently for new Eternia! Thanks for watching 👍
I picked up Trap-Jaw and Man-at-Arms from this line. Both are fantastic. Even the boxes rock. Can't wait for Tri-Klops, Mekaneck and Snout Spout.
Awesome pickups on those two! I think Trap-jaw and this Man-At-Arms are the coolest ones in wave 11. Meckaneck, Tri-Klops, and Snout Spout are high on my list, too! Thanks for stopping in as always ✌️
The alternative head with the L.O.P helmet looks very good on the serpent claw man-at-arms reminds me paladin the early concept art is a total different character not just a repaint like they do with he-man
Yeah it's really really cool all the different mixing and matching of heads and parts you can do now between the Masterverse and Origins figures. Even Classics sometimes. There are many figure variants such as Man-At-Arms in all these different lines now. I only showed a few swaps in this review with those figures and heads which I thought would be the most interesting! I'm glad you you enjoyed the different looks with that LOP Man-At-Arms! Yeah, I also thought the same thing about getting another MAA figure for Masterverse, being there are two others out. But he feels more classic than the Revalation figures, which I prefer. Thanks for checking the other videos out!✌️

Digging it. Really like the ball and chain mace. But he kind of really looks like a conquistador lol. But he does look awesome with the classics armour.
The ball and chain mace is a cool idea now! Yeah, something with the short armor, skirt type loin protective belt, and the LOP helmet looks like a Conquistador a bit! He still looks cool with those new heads and helmets now! Thanks for stopping in, bro!
The new eternia line looks really good know. I like that mace is bigger . Imo I think this man at arms figure looks awesome with the non beard head sculpt. Good video sir

Looks great! I like how the mustachioed head looks like a turn of the century old timey body builder.
Yeah, the two different heads and helmets kind of give him two unique looks, such as the iconic vintage inspired design or a more aged or turn of the century old style look from the past as you mentioned! That's what the lords of power concept felt like a bit. Thanks for stopping in as always 👍
Thanks for the great review as usual! This figure looks great just like Trap Jaw, the best one in New Eternia so far. The removable helmets in MAA are the best feature. From now one I hope they have this standard, to make more figures with removable helmets!

I think he came out really cool and is definitely high on the list like trap-jaw in the wave 11 series. The Revovable helmets are a big plus! I, too, hope to see more like that with figures that have helmets in the Masterverse line going forward!
@@Themanchlid Yes, this is a great figure and since a few waves back I'm cherry picking the new Masterverse figures but this and Trap Jaw are a must.
@dandarkly The Masterverse is hit or miss for many people, or they only pick up certain figures. There is nothing wrong with that! Only buy what you like!👍

I Have the Figure already the only thing I really didn't like was the Orange Leg armor being made into the shin so i swapped the shins from the revelations Man-At-Arms and painted the revelation leg armor a brighter Orange and it looks Awesome like that.
That's cool! I did mention you can always just change the Boots of the Revalation Man-At-Arms to the New Eternia one with the leg armor piece. It sounds like that's what you did! There are many custom options with these figures! Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍

Some of these are kinda frustrating how Mattel makes them.. to make the perfect man@arms you need both the vintage helmet and mustache head on the Revelation body looks great. Same with Faker blue faker with the orange robot armor would also make the best version. It almost makes each release a $40 plus customizing project.
Yeah I hear that! Some of the Masterverse figures are hit or miss with designs or accessories they come with as you mentioned. The blue New Eternia Faker was awesome! But they included the pinkish armor instead of the regular Orange armor that came with the first Revelation Faker which would have made more sence. But I think many of the New Eternia figures are taking core characters like Faker and using concept colors or designs that were what the vintage figures could have looked like from artistic concept designs that were not used during developed. Yeah, the Mustached head looks more serious, but yet has a filmation style vibe. Congrats on getting this wave already from BBTS. I'm probably gonna review the Origins Cartoon Skeletor next. Then, finally, I'll get the Sorceress Teela figure 👍

@geffeternal741 Yes, I have both the cartoon Skeletor and Man-At-Arms as well. I also reviewed the Cartoon He-man and Beastman. They are really cool for the Origins. I'm not sure about the Skeletor comic until I check it out.

@geffeternal741 Yeah, there are reviews already on those two. A few people got these as well. My review will go more into mixing other heads and Skeletor armors on the body like I usually do. Many customizers like that info. I don't think BBTS has those yet.
Everything looks good….except there’s something about the conquistador helmet that seems off.
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review. Someone else in the comments mentioned that it looked like a Roman style old school helmet. I think it looks like the LOP helmet, but a more modern design.

I have that new sorceress Teela so far and I really like to display these. I'm still enjoying masterverse and origins I can't want to save up some more money so I can get the others but this man at arms is on my list✨
@jigsawnora3207 That's great to hear! The Sorceress Teela is another figure I got a while back and still hasn't reviewed her yet. I just got the New Filmation Origins Man-At-Arms and Skeletor today. I might try to review those first! Yeah, I hear you about the money. There are so many Origins and Masterverse figures coming this year and next that are just must haves. 👌

@jigsawnora3207 The Filmation figures have been wanted for a while by many fans of the Classics and Origins lines. The classics made many of the cartoon versions with the Club greyskull line. I think the cartoon Origins figures look really cool. They aren't perfect to the cartoon with the colors or designs. But I think they look good and have a great design to fit in the Origins line now!
Catching up on all of these reviews little by little. This is a really great-looking figure. I didn’t realize that the helmets could be removed and swapped on either head. That’s a nice touch. Also, the ball and chain mace is pretty cool too.
When you were doing the comparisons and part-swapping, I thought you would have also shown the deluxe “Exiled” Man-At-Arms from Revelation, but then I looked back through your videos and realized you never picked it up and/or reviewed it.
Thanks for taking the time to watch all the videos and try to catch up on the ones you want to see! I also didn't know the helmets were removable until I first took him out of the box. The overall design, head sculpts, heads, and chain mace makes this Man-At-Arms feel very old school, but yet new and different. I like this look the best for the Masterverse series. My favorite setup is the Vintage inspired Head and Helmet!
I do have that other Revelation Man-At-Arms 2.0 in card. I never revewed him because mine came late in the mail, and there were so many reviews up all ready. That figure was also an exclusive. I felt like just keeping that one in card for now. I did think about bringing the card in for a comparison while explaining that I have him and why I never reviewed it yet, as I mentioned. I also thought about just opening the box up for the heads. But if I did that, then I would have gotten involved in all the parts swapping. That would have really made the review long. There is too much to do. At least the way I go about part's swapping. Maybe that would be another video in itself at some point!
@@Themanchlid if you ever get 2.0 out of the box you should do the video regardless of the fact that was released a while ago, as even if there are other reviews I don't think I saw a really good one + I am fairly sure your subscribers would still watch it, even if the figure is not brand spanking new. I know I certainly would. 😃
@@hegga_nm I appreciate the Interstest on that figure and me making a review on that! Maybe down the road I might remove him for a review or to try some other parts swapping ideas with other Man-At-Arms Figures!
14:26. Atm, my custom is Revelations regular body, bearded head with helmet, older armor and cape with shoulder laser, New Eternia shoulder pad, etc...

@@dubuyajay9964 Yeah I get it! Custom ideas can get very long. Even in my reviews I have to cut back on certain parts swapping because it makes the videos and editing too long. I also didn't get involved with the Revalation Box Man-At-Arms with the Cannons and alternate heads or parts. To much stuff to try in one review.

Yeah, i have that one in card still. I thought about removing it for more parts swapping. But as I mentioned in the review, I can easily go into an hour of custom ideas with all the Man-At-Arms Figure and parts. I didn't want to make the review any longer. I just used the figures that most people seem to have already from the comments. The other revalation MAA can be another short video with mixing parts at some point. Yeah, the Masterverse and Origins are trying different variations with popular core characters like He-man, Skeletor, and Man-At-Arms.
As always, great review! :) This is another good release by Mattel but couple of things annoy the hell out of me. :D Chest armour look too short... This was always the case with Man at arms (which also annoyed me :D ) but in this case it is extremely short. To make things even worse, the loin cloth looks like a mini skirt, and quite a short one, making Man at arms looking like a damn cheerleader. He just need a bellybutton piercing and he's good to go! 🤣 I will probably end up switching the armour and a head to the Revelation Man at arms body and combine the left over parts to make the palace guard.
Thanks for watching as always and sharing your thoughts on the reviews! Yeah, the armor is a bit short. The Masterverse figures are really tall in the stomach area! I guess the idea of the half cut armor for many MOTU figures is just to protect the chest area the most like a bullet-proof vest on law enforcement without the tactic vest depending on the armor type. You can always use the Revalation armor, as you mentioned, and I showed. There is a way to change the loin cloth over, too, if you didn't like that Loin protector skirt. At least there are plenty of options to customize or change parts between figures in the Masterverse line!👍
@@Themanchlid I was thinking about switching the loin cloth first but it is tricky and I am too impatient and I would probably mess it up and tear it in the process, so I am opting for safest option :))) I will make a final decision once I have the figure in my hands. 🙂 usps is already getting more busy with hollidays getting closer, they are unusually slow in getting my BBTS packages on their way to Europe 😃
@nedimmehmedovic Yeah, the Loincloth change out is tricky. There are some videos on UA-cam on how to do it. I tried it a couple of times. The last time I ripped it around the hip. So I made a straight cut, then pulled it off. I did the same with the spare figure I wanted the Loincloth from. It's easier to then wrap it around the figure you're gonna use it on. I then used crazy glue on the cut seam and hid it on the side. But it's risky, and you definitely need patience. Mail is also becoming slow here in the USA because of the holidays.
@@Themanchlid Yeah, that's what I am afraid of... :( I watched few He-Bro's videos and it's all about patience and making sure loincloth is always hot enough... and I am not a patient guy. 🤣

Does Classics Snake Man Duncan's head fit on Masterverse's bodies?
I don't have a Classics loose Man-At-Arms head. Most of my Classics figures are in card including my Man-At-Arms arms figures. But I would say yes! Many of the Classics head will fit on the Masterverse ball pegs but a little tight. I use a blow dryer to heat them up a bit.
