The New Eternia sub line has knocked it out of the park on every character so far. Getting the classic look plus accessories to update them is genius. Another fantastic review!
The New Eternia series is becoming one of my favorite figure lines. I think it's cool to see many of those iconic core characters like Tri-Klops and Meckaneck remastered again with newer looks and accessories, as you mentioned! Thanks for watching as always 👍
With the exception of Ram Man cuz most of his body proportions are off (he looks different on the cartoon) the Motuc one still can't beaten (aesthetic, sculpting, details, proportions)
Great review! This Tri-Klops figure is awesome! I appreciate all the subtle design embellishments Mattel has managed to include in this figure! The reptile/scales on his visor is from the vintage comics - I always loved that look. Also the other sword with gold hilt is from the vintage catdback where he always had a more realistic looking sword. I really liked the Revelation one too, nice to have different styles in the collection. Love all the different swap outs you did btw!

I never noticed the scales before on the visor from the comics. I'll have to check those out again! I only remember that Mini comic Christmas tree color Tri-Klops as a showed from the Origins in the early comics. The Revalation Tri-Klops is also a good Masterverse design and mixes well with this New Eternia Tri-Klops. The mix parts are always time-consuming, but yet interesting between different figures! I'm glad you enjoyed that!👍
This guy is pretty dope!! Tri Klops is one of my favourite masters. One of the first vintage toys I ever got as a kid for Christmas. This guy has a great head sculpt. Love the detail on the helmet under the visors.

That box art is fantastic !! I love how they got 'Masterverse' exploding out of the rocks, retro style, the detail of snake scales on the visor in the art; the whole thing really pops! Also, those blue devil henchmen in the corner, interesting

Great stuff man! This figure looks better then Classics! It’s interesting how they went with the pig head loin cloth over the other style . Plus, I wish they went with the new battle armor, He-Man body buck over the old one.. much better chest design overall. But would the armor fit on that bulkier shape🤔🤷♂️👍🏻. Keep up the great work man .

But I still love the classics because of the modernized vintage nastalgia. The Battle Armor He-man is next on my list to take a look at the new buck and Armor. I'm gonna try the Battle Armor on the Origins, Classics, and 40th He-man figures to see if it works. Yeah, I noticed that the new loin cloth came from Pig-Head later.👍

Great review! Really answered my questions. I love this Tri-Klops. Think it’s my favorite all time. It’s wonderful how they sculpted the armor. Specially the part over the belly. The extra sword looks exactly like in the first mini comic. And as you said. We never had a mini comic variant in this size. I will need to repaint him with red to make him more first appearance but I feel bad about it already. 😂

Yeah, I really like the New Eternia line figures and designs for the popular core characters like this Tri-Klops. I didn't expect to see a New Tri-Klops after getting the Revalation one a while back. As I mentioned that Revalation Tri-Klops was really cool. But this New Eternia version feels more Vintage and Classics inspired. Everytime I have a question pops up in my head, you answered it immediately on the next scene, it's like you reading my mind! 😮😅😊 Yeah, the gold hilt sword is from the crossell art from the original vintage cardback. 🤔 This Tri-Klops version definitely has a much more detailing compared to the Revelation release. Love the visor options on him and they gave him hair too. 😊 Odd that him and Mekaneck didnt came with the open left hand. I think that option would've benefited both figures. 🤔 Awesome review! Yes, that other sword is from the mini comic. I thought it was from the filmation concept designs, which it kind of is a bit. The Revalation Tri-Klops was a decent figure. But this New Eternia Tri-Klops is much better and detailed. I'm also surprised they didn't come with a spare open left hand instead of punching fists as well. Overall, this is a perfect remastered version of Tri-Klops for the New Eternia line!👌

Both the New Eternia Tri-Klops and Meckaneck are definitely great reimagined figures for Masterverse. I'm not sure how your distribution is in Italy or where you pick up your Masterverse figures normally. I would start there. These are just coming out early in the USA. On to Tri-Klops: another awesome figure! The New Eternia line has really impressed me more than I thought it would. I was actually wondering if they would give him an interchangeable visor since they gave us interchangeable faces for the New Eternia Man-E-Faces. That’s a great feature, plus giving him that “first appearance” sash from the mini-comics. I don’t think I really have any negatives or criticisms to say about this one at all! Ooh, question: Is there any figure that came with an open left hand that has a similar skin tone as Mekaneck and Tri-Klops? Is Revelation Tri-Klops skin tone passable enough for New Eternia Tri-Klops? For the hand, i mean. 🤔
Thanks for watching! That's a great question! I noticed this Tri-Klops has the new Style Large pegs and Revelation Tri-Klops has the small Origins pegs. I just looked in my collection at all the newer New Eternia figures with tan hands, and I don't see any with a large peg Style open hand yet.
I think Fisto and Triclops have the same sword (curve hand guard) since the vintage line. The masterverse ones seem to be the same too I'm not really sure though since I don't have that many to compare. 😂
@@boeingnz Yeah main the swords looks very close between the Masterverse Fisto and this New Eternia Tri-Klops. However Tri-Klops also comes with a second filmation style sword that is very different. Thanks for checking out this review.
@Themanchlid By looking at the photos I'm 95% sure that the Masterverse Fisto and Triclops have the same sword design just in different colors. I just don't have the two side by side to compare. LOL 🤣 And the round shields of Teela 2.0, Stinkor and Clawful are the same mold too.
The best thing about the N.E. piece are the heads, but I prefer the revelation armor with the orange horns. One thing I don't like about these new figures is that don't have the open hands.
Thanks for watching! The N.E. Heads are getting better with each release. Some are better than others. I figured some people would rather mix parts or things like the armor between the two different Masterverse Tri-Klops figures or to use the other body because of the traditional loin cloth if you didn't want to remove them which is sometimes difficult. The Revalation Tri-Klops has that open hand. But it has Origins pegs. The New Eternia has a new style large peg with open hand, unfortunately. Maybe we will see a figure that can match the skin with an open hand and the new peg!👌
Thanks for checking the review out! Yeah that's a good idea for boots. I was trying to come up with a quick Swapping solution without getting into painting. But sometimes Cutting, Gluing and painting is the only options to customize certain parts available from another figure.
I'm not sure yet! Battle Armor He-man is next on the list to review. I'm hoping he has the large buck like the Skeletek Figure. But as far as this New Eternia Tri-Klops buck goes from my review. He has a standard Masterverse buck just like the Revelation Tri-Klops, as shown in the review!

I think both Older Masters of the Universe collectors and the newer or younger generation collectors like yourself really like this line or specific Figures such as this New Eternia Tri-Klops. The colors and accessories are really cool. He also mixes well with that Revelation Tri-Klops like showed in the review. I'm glad you dig the colors and design!👌
Thanks for checking out the review! They marking calls that piece a 3 eyed cross body belt. But it can also be called a sashes, cross banner, or torso strap. A bandolier usually has pouches for storage or ammunition. Aside from that! He looks awesome!👍

The head is better on the new one but everything else is better on the Revelation version. I definitely like the shoulder armor better on the Revelation version with the 2-tone green and the little horn/claw thingys.
Yeah, they are both decent versions of Tri-Klops for the Masterverse series. I guess they could have just made one deluxe box with the main figure body and included all the heads, Visors, armors, and accessories. But the Revalation was the idea first going back to marketing of that cartoon shortly before New Eternia even came around to be fair. The idea of New Eternia is to reimagine the core characters with a new What if look or certain alternative concepts that were never used during the Vintage or Classics line from what I understand!
I also liked the Revalation Tri-Klops as well as that 200x design in the show. This New Eternia Tri-Klops has a good mix of all the different variations from different line lines like the Vintage, Classics, and everything in between. This is another great redesign of a fan favorite character in the Masterverse series once again! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👌

The colour of the face seems to differ significantly from the rest of the body. Why did they do that? I think I prefer the face of the Revelation figure. Also there is some gold app missing (compare armour to packaging). Overall a good figure, but not as (near) perfect as other New Eternia figures (Trap Jaw, Clawful, Meckaneck...).

Yeah, I noticed many figures in the Masterverse series that have a tan skin tone that sometimes has a mix or wash of colors that's off from the body a bit. I'm not sure if that's for effect like sunburn or battle damage that sometimes characters in movies have that appears in the face before the body, depending on the armor they have on. Yeah, the art sometimes has additional details that the final figure doesn't because of factory issues or cost cuts for time on the deco. I think he came out really cool. But Meckaneck and Clawful are still a little better, as you mentioned 👌
Love the revelation one but i ll get even this one as soon as possible. Here in italy we have to wait some months...here we are waiting trap jaw and man at arms new eternia, just done pre-order... These revelation /new eternia action figures are great. Many figures are better than motuc ones, only chest size it s the real matter...too small. He man 40th anniversary was too big and strange... A middle size was right. But anyway they looks great with armour. 2023 was a great year for motu.

Yeah, I know many Masterverse or Motu figures in general take many months to get to certain countries outside the USA once they become common here. I wish the Chest design was also a little larger. They gave the new Battle Armor He-man a larger chest that is perfect. I also reviewed that He-man right after this Tri-Klops figure, and I now got to see that rumored new chest. It's perfect for a Masterverse figure. I wish they gave that to Meckaneck and This Tri-Klops. But aside from that. They are still great figures. I'm happy the He-man now has a larger chest!👍

@ciuffoarancione8929 I'm not sure why they went with smaller chests with these Masterverse figures. I guess they are trying to make them fit in with the other modern 7-inch figures like Spawn and Marvell that have muscles, but more slim and highly articulated.

Both the New Eternia Tri-Klops and Meckaneck are definitely great reimagined figures for Masterverse. I'm not sure how your distribution is in Italy or where you pick up your Masterverse figures normally. I would start there. These are just coming out early in the USA. On to Tri-Klops: another awesome figure! The New Eternia line has really impressed me more than I thought it would. I was actually wondering if they would give him an interchangeable visor since they gave us interchangeable faces for the New Eternia Man-E-Faces. That’s a great feature, plus giving him that “first appearance” sash from the mini-comics. I don’t think I really have any negatives or criticisms to say about this one at all!

Hey Damon! Thanks for stopping in as always! I'm also really happy how the New Eternia line has been designing certain core characters such as this Tri-Klops. The colors, interchangeable visors, weapons and over looks are perfect on this figure. I can't wait to see what else the New Eternia line has to come for 2024. Another fantastic review and video sir. I like the extra sword with him. Maybe l thought they could've added a small gun to pay homeage to a episode it was featured. Ooh, question: Is there any figure that came with an open left hand that has a similar skin tone as Mekaneck and Tri-Klops? Is Revelation Tri-Klops skin tone passable enough for New Eternia Tri-Klops? For the hand, i mean. 🤔
Thanks for watching! That's a great question! I noticed this Tri-Klops has the new Style Large pegs and Revelation Tri-Klops has the small Origins pegs. I just looked in my collection at all the newer New Eternia figures with tan hands, and I don't see any with a large peg Style open hand yet.

I think Fisto and Triclops have the same sword (curve hand guard) since the vintage line. The masterverse ones seem to be the same too
I'm not really sure though since I don't have that many to compare. 😂
@@boeingnz Yeah main the swords looks very close between the Masterverse Fisto and this New Eternia Tri-Klops. However Tri-Klops also comes with a second filmation style sword that is very different. Thanks for checking out this review.
@Themanchlid By looking at the photos I'm 95% sure that the Masterverse Fisto and Triclops have the same sword design just in different colors. I just don't have the two side by side to compare. LOL 🤣
And the round shields of Teela 2.0, Stinkor and Clawful are the same mold too.
The best thing about the N.E. piece are the heads, but I prefer the revelation armor with the orange horns.
One thing I don't like about these new figures is that don't have the open hands.
Thanks for watching! The N.E. Heads are getting better with each release. Some are better than others. I figured some people would rather mix parts or things like the armor between the two different Masterverse Tri-Klops figures or to use the other body because of the traditional loin cloth if you didn't want to remove them which is sometimes difficult. The Revalation Tri-Klops has that open hand. But it has Origins pegs. The New Eternia has a new style large peg with open hand, unfortunately. Maybe we will see a figure that can match the skin with an open hand and the new peg!👌
If you would like to make the maaterverse mini comic version you can use the revelation Skeletor boots. And paint them red
Thanks for checking the review out! Yeah that's a good idea for boots. I was trying to come up with a quick Swapping solution without getting into painting. But sometimes Cutting, Gluing and painting is the only options to customize certain parts available from another figure.

Is the buck the same as the new battle armor he man?
I'm not sure yet! Battle Armor He-man is next on the list to review. I'm hoping he has the large buck like the Skeletek Figure. But as far as this New Eternia Tri-Klops buck goes from my review. He has a standard Masterverse buck just like the Revelation Tri-Klops, as shown in the review!

I think both Older Masters of the Universe collectors and the newer or younger generation collectors like yourself really like this line or specific Figures such as this New Eternia Tri-Klops. The colors and accessories are really cool. He also mixes well with that Revelation Tri-Klops like showed in the review. I'm glad you dig the colors and design!👌

Thanks for checking out the review! They marking calls that piece a 3 eyed cross body belt. But it can also be called a sashes, cross banner, or torso strap. A bandolier usually has pouches for storage or ammunition. Aside from that! He looks awesome!👍

The head is better on the new one but everything else is better on the Revelation version. I definitely like the shoulder armor better on the Revelation version with the 2-tone green and the little horn/claw thingys.
Yeah, they are both decent versions of Tri-Klops for the Masterverse series. I guess they could have just made one deluxe box with the main figure body and included all the heads, Visors, armors, and accessories. But the Revalation was the idea first going back to marketing of that cartoon shortly before New Eternia even came around to be fair. The idea of New Eternia is to reimagine the core characters with a new What if look or certain alternative concepts that were never used during the Vintage or Classics line from what I understand!
I thought the revelation tri klopse was good, but this one looks really cool with the extra stuff. And Def see 200x inspire. That was a cool one too
I also liked the Revalation Tri-Klops as well as that 200x design in the show. This New Eternia Tri-Klops has a good mix of all the different variations from different line lines like the Vintage, Classics, and everything in between. This is another great redesign of a fan favorite character in the Masterverse series once again! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👌

The colour of the face seems to differ significantly from the rest of the body. Why did they do that?
I think I prefer the face of the Revelation figure.
Also there is some gold app missing (compare armour to packaging).
Overall a good figure, but not as (near) perfect as other New Eternia figures (Trap Jaw, Clawful, Meckaneck...).

Yeah, I noticed many figures in the Masterverse series that have a tan skin tone that sometimes has a mix or wash of colors that's off from the body a bit. I'm not sure if that's for effect like sunburn or battle damage that sometimes characters in movies have that appears in the face before the body, depending on the armor they have on. Yeah, the art sometimes has additional details that the final figure doesn't because of factory issues or cost cuts for time on the deco. I think he came out really cool. But Meckaneck and Clawful are still a little better, as you mentioned 👌
Love the revelation one but i ll get even this one as soon as possible. Here in italy we have to wait some months...here we are waiting trap jaw and man at arms new eternia, just done pre-order... These revelation /new eternia action figures are great.
Many figures are better than motuc ones, only chest size it s the real matter...too small. He man 40th anniversary was too big and strange... A middle size was right. But anyway they looks great with armour.

Yeah, I know many Masterverse or Motu figures in general take many months to get to certain countries outside the USA once they become common here. I wish the Chest design was also a little larger. They gave the new Battle Armor He-man a larger chest that is perfect. I also reviewed that He-man right after this Tri-Klops figure, and I now got to see that rumored new chest. It's perfect for a Masterverse figure. I wish they gave that to Meckaneck and This Tri-Klops. But aside from that. They are still great figures. I'm happy the He-man now has a larger chest!👍

@ciuffoarancione8929 I'm not sure why they went with smaller chests with these Masterverse figures. I guess they are trying to make them fit in with the other modern 7-inch figures like Spawn and Marvell that have muscles, but more slim and highly articulated.

And when the line dies just like 200x, act confused like you didn't see it coming. Because why would you want to learn from past mistakes???

the visor on the old Tri-Klops is so boring, I'm glad this new figures' visor is more interesting, and he comes with two!
