This time of year is really rough especially around that area including Norris lake, very hard to find the fish considering how weird the weather has been! Keep your head up and keep on fishing

Cherokee is my home lake. It's been tough all year. Getting multiple days of good weights is extremely difficult. It seems all of the lakes in east Tennessee are fishing tough. There has been tremendous fishing pressure all year. I was hoping to see you Saturday - I was a camera boat driver.
I had a stretch where I went home empty handed 9/10 times so I can definitely relate. All about using each time as a learning experience and trying your hardest to be better the next opportunity you get. Best of luck at the last two events!
How can u fail from learning it makes u better u my friend have instilled that into my everyday routine all that can happen is it's gonna get better prayers up

Hey Scott. Nice video. I live 30 minutes from Cherokee. Last year was a good year, but this year has been really slow. The bass up there are under crazy pressure. Tons of tournaments every weekend. I was fishing there a few days before you came and it was tough. Would like to see you all fish Watts Bar.. it’s the next chickamagua.

I can't believe that you only caught that one big bass on day one I thought to since that hurricane was going thought they would really bite but on day two nice 3 bass that you caught. Good luck in the rest of the tournaments go catch more giants there has to be a really big bass waiting on you to catch it. I hope you get one, awesome videos can't wait for more.

Dude, you got to crank those smallmouth this time if year, with a 6XD. Main lake points on the lower end. They tend to wolf pack chasing shad. They lay on/near bottom looking up for shad. It fires them up when you rip that big crankbait thru. We have won quite a few txs this way in oct-nov.

I can feel your day one. They are letting water out at my lake and water temp dropped to 48dg. I could find them but I threw my whole arsenal at them . Only one big bite and I was so surprised I put a crap hook set and lost it. I replayed that day in my head everyday since.

Interesting year, not fishing around the spawn. Watching the pros working hard to figure it out makes me feel better about myself. But back to chasing the spawn next year.

I can watch other channels and catch 100 fish. I'm a tournament angler from Massachusetts and I understand tough days and slow fishing. You learn and are humbled by the fish we love to chase.
